Last Sunday, ClemDawg and I, took my son to his very first "Browns Experience" at FirstEnergy. We had a great time, despite the outcome, of course. However, during our drive to the game from the Glass City, traveling sublimely down the interstate, Clem asked; "What predictions do y'all have?" I think our predictions were cautious, at best, but here is where I owe ClemDawg an apology. I stated I just wanted the Browns to have a productive first half for a change. (All the previous games had seen the Browns produce in the second half, but could not surmount the deficit allowed in the first half to whichever opposing team.) All y'all know what has happened subsequently, score in the first half, then go M.I.A. for the second half. To be fair, I did not "wish" the Browns to only score in the first half, but Karma is a Bi#@!, if you know what I mean. Any way, to set matters straight; "Clem, I apologize to you, and all of DawgTalker Nation. I will be more astute in my word choice from now on, when making any predictions re: our beloved Brownies." Please forgive me, Betsie-K9.

That was a very gracious apology betsie.

We all know where the problems exist with this team and we know you aren't a part of the problem.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Interestingly enough, exactly what I thought was going to happen is starting to happen. I'm starting to read scuttlebutt that Pettine's seat is hotter than Farmer's.

If Haslam determines that Farmer and Scheiner can work together, he may just give Farmer a stay of execution and allow him to hire his own coach. I think Haslam and Scheiner are all in on Manziel, which only makes it worse for Pettine.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

you jerk

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

It's MY fault for being MIA for part of the 3rd qtr. As soon as I left my seat, things went downhill fast. So The Nation can put it all on me. I can take it.

(Here's the place where y'all can call ME the jerk!)

To My Dawgs: Bk-9 is good folk. We've been buds for over 20 years, and never had a disagreement that I can remember. He lurks here but stays on the dl most of the time. Thanks for welcoming him in this thread... maybe it'll prompt him to share a bit more. We've had some good football talk over the years, and I've always thought he'd be a great addition to the conversation.
