Just saw Brian Kelly attack his assistant. How does Kelly get away with that? What other workplace can you attack one of your "employees" and not get disciplined?

What a joke.

The rankings are in.

Boy, the message boards are gonna blow up. Alabama at 4? The rage on the ESPN boards is gonna be glorious.

I understand the man would be fired, but how does that dude not just unload on Kelly? He'd get another job in no time once the reason you attacked your head coach came to light - just unload on him.

I can't understand how no one ever stands up to that punk turd.

The SEC bias sickens me.

And how the hell are we 3rd?

All you haters-----------save the scheduling crap. We have heard it ad nauseum. No one ever mentions SEC teams playing teams that no one outside of their locale has ever heard of. And we beat the crap out of the two teams that everyone said would kill us last year in the playoffs.

What a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're third because we haven't beaten anybody.

Clemson has a win over #5 Notre Dame, LSU has a few decent wins. Our best win right now is your pick of Penn State or NIU. Just look at how Baylor and TCU have been treated so far. Both teams have played nobody and the perception of that conference is not good right now.

I don't like the FSU comparisons because FSU was playing a lot worse than Ohio State has this year, and they weren't having QB issues like OSU. OSU has played some close games, but they haven't dug 2 and 3 score holes like FSU as doing multiple times last year. There's a difference between that and playing a team like NIU in a close game. It's underwhelming but I don't get the same feeling that I saw with FSU last year.

It doesn't matter, because Ohio State has their biggest games in front of them. They could still end up #1 at the end of the year, and after last year's run, I don't think they care where they end up as long as it's within the top 4.

If I were selecting, I'd have a top 4 of Ohio State, TCU, LSU, and Clemson. I think TCU is really good even though they haven't played anyone. I think they are going to flatten Baylor later on this year...

All I know is this.............if we played either Clemson or LSU...............I am betting on Ohio State.

Some may call me a homer, but before you do, check out my posts about the Browns. I am NOT a homer. I try to be very real. Not saying I am right, but I try very hard to be rational and objective.

I think Ohio State has the best team in the country.

I am also really sick of the continued Big Ten bias. I keep hearing about how great the Pac 12 is. Well, Northwestern dominated Stanford. Stanford dominates the Pac 12, but no one ever mentions that. Pffftttttttt.....it's biased reporting.

If you swap Bama for any other team in the Top 9 (save MSU) then noone bats an eye at the rankings.

You throw #4 BAMA across everyones news feed..

And people will talk, they will watch..

This ranking means nothing.. the season is barely half over..

I couldn't tell you who was Top 4 to start last season.

I'd feel REALLY good against LSU. Teams that have beaten Ohio State did it with quarterbacks. When's the last time a running back beat us as the primary focal point? Dupree would be a handful for our secondary, but he can get roughed up. I'd make sure Vonn Bell got some shots on him.

You can't teach a bunch of young men the extreme discipline it takes to be good in the sport while swinging on your HC because he roughed you up.

That Michigan State vs Ohio State game has the potential to be huge depending on how the other games play out. Would be ironic if 2 Big Ten teams were in the top 4. Though for that to happen, there'd have to be utter chaos with the SEC/Big 12 I think.

Won't shock me if it's a battle of top 5 teams. I think Ohio State is better, but it will be a close battle.

The SEC has been great, but they aren't all that this year, or even last year...for that matter.

They got a big deal w/ESPN and the network will do everything it can to promote their product.

I also see why they put both LSU and Bama in the top four. The winner will move up because they beat such a power school. Gag.

Ohio State kicked Alabama's butt last year and we have more talent this year.

Ole Miss got drilled by Memphis after the Rebels beat Alabama, yet Memphis is 13th and Bama is 4th.

The SEC bias is sickening.

I hope we play one of those teams and beat the living crap out of them.............AGAIN!!!!!

Lots of great games this week.

LSU vs Bama
TCU vs OK State
Clemson vs FSU

Kind of the opposite of last week.

Just typical excuses, as usual....

The winner of Bama/LSU is probably in the playoff. If they're not, then it's their own fault, not becuase their conference is just oh so hard. Give me a break.

SEC fans and their excuses, LOL.

Said it a hundred times... SEC team wins a bowl game and it's "SEC SEC SEC!!!"

When they lose a bowl game, they didn't want to be there.

I mean there were people making the excuse for Alabama that they lost to Ohio State because their road to get there was tougher. I mean MY GOD.

Alabama losing a game to Ole Miss isn't the rough and tumble of the SEC. It's Alabama playing a really horrible game against a team that was a fraud.

Honestly, the SEC isn't even that great this year. Bama and LSU are good. Anyone really buying A&M and Florida? I'm not. Ole Miss and Georgia were overrated.

It's hysterical that dude made that statement after vanishing from all college football conversation after Ohio State showed everyone who was truly the best.

You can say a lot of things about Ohio State fans, and at times, some can embarrass the rest of us, but man, when we lose, we own it (Mike Pettine voice)

With both in the top 4 right now and the game @ 'Bama, I think a close win by Bama and both teams winning out could put both in the playoff (each with one loss).

Every conference game is a chance to knock a team out of the playoffs.

If I had to guess the final 4 teams, I'd say:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Michigan State
4. Notre Dame

Just a hunch

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

With all of these coaches being fired, I REALLY hope nobody picks up Ed Warinner or we are utterly screwed. Losing him would hurt a LOT more than losing Herman did. I don't know how much you pay a position coach, but he needs to be the highest paid o-line coach.

Oklahoma has a chance to redeem themselves from the Texas loss. Problem is that after this week they only get to face TCU, Baylor, and Oklahoma State to close out the season. saywhat

Best part of the regular season is this month.

LOL so true...SEC or ACC ranked team gets pushed by unranked team and that unranked team is just on the fringe of being great - probably run the tables in the PAC12 or B1G...Same scenario in the other conferences then the ranked team is overrated smile Yeah - sounds about right!

in my opinion, the final four is going to be

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Notre Dame
4. Michigan State

Alabama wins the SEC, Notre Dame wins out, Michigan State wins the BIG

I think tOSU beats MSU at home. The MSU Michigan game did not make me fear either team, playing at Michigan scares me much more that MSU. I personally think we clobber MSU.

Navy going full steam ahead! smile Loved to see TCU lose - just wish Vandy could have pulled it out. Get Bama with 2 losses and what a day - of course OSU wins!

It will be good to have Barrett back next week...Cardale's offense is just slow and uninspiring...Zeke is still running pretty good thankfully...

College football is going to have a huge problem if these game changing terrible calls like this and Miami/Duke continue. Why have replay if they don't get it right.

The games are great as is. But officials making calls on the field and then replaying the call and still blatantly getting it wrong. If it continues it will turn the game into WWE. The NFL has had issues not to long ago. Makes you wonder who has money on these games and what kind of power they have?
