on those failed end arounds, if we get trapped in the backfield, instead of losing big yards can't we just chuck it out of bounds?

This is the problem with Manziel's inconsistency.
If he had started all season and was still inconsistent like that in game 10, then concern starts to creep in.
We don't know if the inconsistency is due to the lack of playing time.

All season it seems our second half adjustments mean stop doing what has worked. Trying to outsmart is not going to work as is evidenced by our record. This coaching staff outsmarts no one but themselves.
