side note... I was so mad we picked JFF it wasn't even funny. Hell I even came up with JFF to make fun of him. I thought he was complete garbage and overrated in College. He had terrible footwork and was to big for his name.
However...
I saw something this offeseason. I saw a change. He ditched the $ sign. he started to improve his footwork. he started to make reads.
if he continues, he can actually be a good QB in the NFL. He has a lot of growing to do... but he has the potential. Yes he has changed. He beat up his GF after being out drinking. That's awesome. LOVE guys that rough up women. Well considering he didn't actually do that....

Nope, you're right. Lets be damned sure we don't draft a QB. Lets make SURE that Johnny is our QB the next five years. Because 5'11 206 pound QB's ALWAYS succeed. Especially when they run around a lot. That always works. NEVER fails. We are SAVED. But when next year comes around and Johnny sucks or more likely gets hurt, I don't want to hear any bitching. you would rather have Johnny than WIN.
How many successful teams do you know give up on their investment under center with so little game experience? How about we make an attempt to develop players for once. Name one young QB we've had that has had a decent line and weapons around him. That's ok, you are are right and I'm wrong. Let's keep developing QBs the Tim Couch way! You actually draft a QB and I'll have no problem with developing him.... But a QB that by his own admission is too short to see much of anything in the pocket? A guy that would rather party than play? A guy that has the odds STACKED against him and instead of spending every waking moment trying to overcome those limitations would rather party and rough up women? Sure why would I want another QB? He's perfect for this team and fan base. Perfect. Lets stick with Johnny and if he gets hurt or just flat out sucks the next five years? That's alright. As long as we pass on each and every QB available for the next couple years it's all good. Better to have Johnny than to win. I give up on this conversation. 1. he never "roughed up" his GF. 2. I'm glad he realizes he is small. he's be a fool to think his is 6ft 5 3. any QB can get injured. see Sam Bradford/Romo etc etc

Plus one or two witnesses said he hit her also, so.........
