True that. Kinda makes me think now that we should have heard something.

The plan was that he would sit out the year. He hasn't been reactivated. I think the team only gets a three week window to reactivate... so I think it's not going to happen.

Probably no news because everything was going according to plan.

I'm concerned because he got tore up pretty bad. As we know it sometimes takes a year of playing on that kind of injury before the player gains his full confidence back.

That would have him contributing, perhaps, at a high level in 2017.

He's pretty much stayed off the grid. His twitter and instagram are pretty barren in regards to the Browns. Other than a news article about him winning 3 mil ( http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/10/19/cleveland-browns-ifo-ekpre-olomu-three-million-insurance-policy), there's nothing from the press either. I think he's dead, but that's just me.

Seriously though, no news is good news when it comes to recovery.

Regarding your latter comment, if he can return to the form he showed at Oregon, then that may be the case. Regarding your former, late round draft picks aren't typically 1st round quality players either.

What you clearly don't understand is this guy was a 1st round talent before a knee injury late in his last season. Many to most sites had him rated the #1 CB. Had he not been injured, he would have been the 1st corner selected, probably before pick 16.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

I'm sorry peen, but you must have misread, because you say "what you clearly don't understand is this guy was a 1st round talent," in response to my referring to him as a 1st round quality player.

His name has only two more vowels than your name.

Actually, the knee injury was quite severe. It is 50/50 that he will play in the NFL and maybe 10 percent that he will be of the first round form.

Still worth a 7th round pick, but don't be too sure that he will be back after a year. It will probably be 2 years before we have a final answer.

If that final answer is even close to the promise he showed at Oregon.... I'm willing to wait for the payoff.

Kid was showing much, much Game in college.....
