I have been around people who use it also..but for every example of pot heads and its obvious..argument you use/show.

I or someone else who has been around people who do it daily..could also give/show you examples of people who get baked on a daily basis and it most definitely does not show.

and I'm not talking about a weekend toker as you said..I'm talking about very successful people who just happen to like unwinding daily getting high.

Dont smoke it, dont know if I ever will but I am for legalizing it.

and man I'm sorry about the kind of company youve kept or the environment you've lived in to be exposed to these people you seem to despise, but its depressing reading your responses to this topic.

There's some pretty concrete evidence out there. They're talking specifically about "skunk" which is pretty extremely high in THC. THC is a psychoactive drug and has shown to increase the likelihood of psychosis in people who are already at risk to develop it. However, one of the cannabinoids is an antagonist and dampens the effects of THC. The problem arises is that vaped weed doesn't heat up the cbd's and THC is fully absorbed. I can't really vape good weed anymore because it leads me to start getting paranoid and having crazy ideas that affect me when I'm sober. This is actually a problem that a lot of my friends have. It's not entirely crazy talk, is all I'm trying to say. Oh and also, don't vape THC heavy weed on the reg.

However, alcohol does the same thing and to a much worse extent. We can't inject ourselves with things and not expect it to affect us. It goes for everything, not just drugs. If you eat McDonalds everyday you'll probably develop cancer. While these things do affect us, they don't do it in such amazing intensity that change us instantly. These things affect us over decades, not years or months. It's not a big deal lol

I opened the article and thought hey ok havent saw this one..started reading and was like hey a placebo..ok.

Then got to the last part and they lost me ..No freaking kidding people would do worse while being high and drinking saywhat

Know lots who smke and don't so much as touch a drop of alcohol.

Is that the norm probably not..but damn can they just do the study on MJ while driving/ the effects and not pull the article away with....

“We know cannabis is primarily found with a low dose of alcohol,” Huestis says. “Many young people have a couple beers and then cannabis.”

Stay on point will you researchers..had me feel like I was learning something till it got here. study..placebo..good..comparing how they drove compared to alcohol..good

but leave the part out I quoted makes you look like you have an agenda researcher:/

Thanks for posting it CHS

They did. There were 4 groups, 3 tests and one controlled. Pot (Increased weaving, but stayed in lane), alcohol, and a mixture of pot and alcohol. The second part of the article fully focused on the latter mixture.

You read it correctly. I don't think there was that much info about just driving high. More research is gonna be needed, but this is just a start.
