You're right. I don't remember the fine people of Baltimore getting upset when the Colts moved to Indy. The only reason Modell left was because he was flat broke and had no way of fielding a contender. The fact is he sold his soul and the Cleveland fans to get his prize. In the mean time he lost his beloved team and that joke of a kid of his didn't get it. We got a little justice.

And Modell left because he got fed up with asking for a new stadium that the city of Cleveland obviously could not or would not deliver. In the mean time, Modell sat back and watch Gund Arena, Jacob's Field, and the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame go up. This is called taking someone for granted in my book. Cleveland sat back and collectively thought "Modell won't leave - not with the great fanbase supporting the Browns". "We'll get to him eventually". But I guess Art got the final say now didn't he?
