I don't know if he's available in your league, but I had good luck with Ryan Fitzpatrick one week when Andy Dalton was on a Bye and Roethlisberger was hurt. He got me 26.7 points. He has a pretty favorable matchup this week with the Titans. Shoulda listened to ya bud! Dude has 3 TD at the half. DAMNIT.

Ehh, this stuff can go either way. Now, with Dalton hurt, I have to choose between Roethlisberger vs Denver (in Pitt) or Fitz vs Dallas (at Dallas). I don't like either matchup. If Dalton hadn't been hurt, I'd have him vs San Fran, who have one of the 3 worst defenses I've seen this year (Niners-Browns-Titans).

Dez Bryant or Marvin Jones at WR? A couple notables available on waivers(based on fantatasy points) are Markus Wheaton and Rueban Randle.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

I really lucked out last week. The guy I was playing had Amari Cooper and Dez Bryant and they both put up goose eggs... Amazing.
The bad news is, I had no idea the league was set up as 2-week playoff rounds. So it's an aggregate. I started this week up 12 on the same opponent. Championship is week 16-17. I don't like that at all. Nobody wants fantasy games being played in week 17.
I think I'm pretty set with my lineup though.
Gonna start Carr over Taylor (didn't start Winston, he put up 18)
I have to start 2 RB, I have McCoy, Gore, Bryce Brown, and Denard.
Love my WRs with Hopkins, Allen Robinson, with Baldwin as my flex..
Panthers defense, and Barth already put up 13 on Thursday.
I'm projected to win both weeks 203-169, probably even more if Matt Cassel continues to be Matt Cassel for Dez Bryant tonight.

McCoy is pretty much a no brainer in my PPR league; he's averaging 18 ppg for his last 8 games for me. Of Gore, Brown, and Robinson, I would go Robinson. Yeldon is most likely out with a sprained knee, so Denard should get the majority of rushing touches, along with at least a few targets in the passing game. I'm not a Frank Gore fan, and Bryce Brown is splitting time / downs with Fred Jackson and maybe one other guy, reportedly. On the other hand, it is against the Browns, so he might go postal.

Frank Gore was pretty reliable until a few weeks ago...
Denard had a good week last week but otherwise hasn't done much.. Bryce Brown would be a total wild card because he is the new guy.
I'm gonna keep an eye on Yeldon's status and start Robinson if he's ruled out. Listed at doubtful right now.
The thing about my team that sucks the most is that I lost Le'Veon Bell weeks ago. My team would be total monster if he was still playing.

I might have done a really dumb thing last night when I started Fitz instead of Roeth today. Fitz only got 17. I just think I smell a clunker coming for Ben - he's had a few this year against better D's, and the Broncos' defense is the best. Now watch him put up 50.

Ben has games where he plays well but doesn't throw any TD passes.. It happened last week. That's why he's never a top guy for fantasy. And yup, looks like Yeldon is out. Good call on Denard. He's definitely the play over Brown and Gore. Kinda like that the Browns play late today so I can really keep an eye on my matchups.

Legit question... So I'm up 4 on my opponent. He has nobody left, and I have Ben Watson going tonight. Do I deactivate him just to be on the safe side so that he doesn't have some weird game where he fumbles a few times and throws a pick on some weird trick play?
I looked at the league settings and it looks like there is no playoff tiebreaker that I can see (which is weird because what if we tied in the semi-round? I could see splitting the pot with a championship tie, but what about to see who plays for the title?)

It is a bush league move, but if its not in the rules that you have to field a starting lineup then it is what it is. That's on the commish for not forcing everyone to play with a full lineup.
*I would make sure the commish addresses that next year as well as tiebreakers.

I ended up playing him because someone told me about stat corrections.. He ended up with a bunch of catches and a td..
Now it looks like McCoy is out and Denard is questionable

Yeah, I'm in my finals, but I'm screwed. Megatron is gimpy, and McCoy is out. My championship hoped rest on Edelman and whatever RB I pick up.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

You should check to see if Karlos Williams is available. He's saved my butt more than fair share of times this year. I have faith in him for my finals, but it's not like I have anyone else.

I claimed him via waivers today. Hopefully he lands on my team (I don't see why not). Looks like he's going to take McCoy's carries.

What do you guys think about QB this week?
Carr vs SD (proj 17) Thursday Night Winston vs. Chicago (proj 15) Taylor vs. Dallas (proj 16)
Carr seems like the pick but I hate starting guys on non-Sundays. Just seems like you see lower scoring games on those nights. But the matchup is good. They're all actually not that bad.
Anybody got anything for RB? The guy I am playing picked up Karlos Williams. Must have been ahead of me in the waiver order. I picked up Artis-Payne from Carolina as he's supposed to see more carries with Stewart out..
The matchup as it stands right now
Me:
Carr
Gore Artis-Payne
Hopkins Robinson
Watson
Baldwin (Flex)
Panthers D and Josh Brown K
He has:
Newton
Freeman Hightower
Crabtree Lafell
Gronk
Ivory (flex)
Patriots D and Gostkowski K
We're both projected at 96... And like I said, this is a two round championship so this is the first leg.
I have a feeling he will flex Williams and take Ivory out.

Patriots' James White might be a good play if you're in a PPR league, and if he's available. Chargers' Donald Brown is another possible. On the other hand, Denard Robinson has been upgraded to Probable, so he might be your best bet, unless you dumped him to get Artis-Payne.

What do I do with Calvin Johnson? They played San Fran last week and he didn't get much going.
Desean Jackson is on my bench ready to go, and is consider Johnson as a flex.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Ended 9 points up in the first week of the championship.. Outlook not so good for week 2. I have to drop Payne because I don't think he's going to see much action Sunday...
All my QB's have bad matchups, Taylor vs NYJ, Carr vs KC, and Winston at Carolina, although I could see Carolina taking the week off since the perfect season is gone, although I don't think Chico wants his guys going into a bye week having lost the last two. Who knows.
Actually, Johnny is projected higher than my QB's. Do I dare pull that trigger?

Personally I go with T-mobile or Carr in that scenario. NO way in hell do I hinge my season on a Browns QB, but that's me.

Is Fitz available in your league? If not, I guess I'd play Carr vs KC, because KC has clinched.

He is and maybe I should listen to you this time, lol Just picked him up and he's in my starting lineup. My RB situation is not good... I picked up Rashad Jennings, so I am starting him and Gore. I'm currently up 9, and the projection currently stands at him winning this week by 16.. so that would have him win the title by 7. Anyone got a hunch on a TE who could have a big week. I'm leaning towards starting Kyle Rudolph, who had a big game against GB earlier this year. Tough call. This matchup is going to come down to the wire.

Ah jeez, now I'm gonna feel bad if Fitz sh**s the bed Sunday. But he has been pretty solid all year. I wanted him for the Browns when he was available. Anyway, at TE, Zach Ertz has put together 3 pretty good weeks in a row. ESPN says the Giants are weak at covering TE's, and that he's become a Sam Bradford fave receiver in Philly. If available, he might be a good pickup. Good luck!
