Man, Jay Gruden is a better coach than Mike Pettine.
Let this be another example of an exercise in patience. Cousins was putrid early in the season and they stuck with him.

The 49ers have quit more than any other team I've seen this year. They are getting crushed at home against the Bengals (with A.J. McCarron at QB). Some guy named Kroft just ran 20 yards downfield unobstructed and caught the balin the endzone.

Let him continue to develop and build the rest of the team. That's where we differ. I don't know if we have a QB. You think we do. I prefer to see my QB play more than half a season before I determine he is definitely a part of my future (especially when he has off the field issues). I am guessing our new coach will have similar feelings. I understand why you want to keep Manziel. I just don't agree with the reasoning.
