Larry Hughes is terrible. Flat out terrible. Should have left Gibson in, at least he can shoot.

UNREAL!
I'm done with this team for the season.
That was a nightmare. Typical Cleveland unclutch.
SCREW THEM.

Whatever... Sorry for being a downer, but how the heck can they win this series when they can't make an easy shot?! You go into the palace and drop two games, both by 3 points?
I don't get this team, they're just too young. You can't forget how great the Pistons are, but we're keeping the games close... Just giving it away to them! AHH!
I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

I hate hughes he sucks I definately would have made that shot and he had time to dribble in for a layup! The officiating is also horrible. This series is rigged.

I'm not a huge Cavs fan, but I want them to win. I watched the last 30 seconds, and I have to say that this just proves, IMO, how a team can't win with just one truly great player. Everyone knew Lebron was going to take the shot. He probably did get fouled, but there is NO excuse for Hughes to miss that gimme shot. If Jordan would miss, Pippen or Grant would often be there to clean it up.
It's too bad, I thought it was a foul. But, the Cavs can't rely simply on James.

GOd, its not F'ing Hughes---its Mike Fing Brown.
He can't make adjustments---EVER.
Look at our scoring percentage coming out of timeouts, out of halftime, out of anytime he draws up a play. Yea, he's great for Defense---but on offense he's a complete idiot.

I thought when a player pushes another down on his ass, it's a foul!!!!???
AM I MISSING SOMETHING????
Damn Resheed wallace and the refs all the way.
I would've walked onto the court and shove one of the refs to the ground.

To me, this proves that a team can't win if the opposition is allowed stiff arms and blatant hacks in the final minute. Total bull.

I'm just kind of in a state of shock right now.
The refs just swallow their whistles at the most crucial time in the game and BOTH times the non call goes against us. There's no excuse for Hughes missing an 8 footer but at the same time he should have never been in that position. Rasheed throws Anderson to the ground for the go ahead basket and then Hamilton bodies LeBron from first dribble all the way untill the shot goes up and he doesn't get a whistle.
I just don't get it........LeBron gets absolutely NO CALLS from the officials. That wasn't the only thing that lost us the game but when you get the wrong end of 2 calls in the final 30 seconds it's kind of hard to overcome.

If the refs would've made the right call, Hughes wouldn't have needed to make it in the first place.

I'm with you, Nas. It's hard to pinpoint a single thing in any game that you can "blame" the loss on, but when you're playing against the Pistons AND the refs in the final 30, you're going to come out on the short end of that one 9 out of 10 times.

2 horrible calls in the last minutes, the refs bailed out the pistons big time...
wallace clearly shoves varejao out of the way and hits the go ahead shot, and lebron, the star player, gets hacked on the way to the rim, and gets nothing
this is absolutely horrible...
i really want to blame larry hughes for this game, because right now, he's AWFUL, but i blame the refs more, we should have won this game, we were the better team...
this series is over...
dwyane wade gets every call in the book, and lebron can't buy a whistle, this league is fixed.

Why is everyone blaming the refs? We played like crap tonight. The refs did not give up a 12 point lead, WE DID! The refs did not have 5 consecutive turnovers in the 4th, WE DID. The last play is irrelevant because the game should have NEVER of come down to the last play.

When you triple not making free throws with getting some poor refereeing with not making the easy shots, and then dribble a little butterscotch topping on that by blowing a 12 point lead,............
It's an ice cream sundae from hell.
I am pulling for the Western Conference winner now, because they're gonna be playing Detroit.

JC : I'm done watching these playoffs. This is a most fixed sport I've ever seen. Talk about one sided fouls all night. I should have followed my friends lead by walking away and not watching it after the 3rd (he's a pistons fan too). I believe his exact words were "I don't need to watch anymore of the game because it is obvious that we will win it from all the calls"
How many times do we have to get roughed up in the paint before we get a call? And yet we barely touch them in the paint and the foul is called. I saw more Cavs players getting their wrists chopped than I've ever seen in a basketball game in my life. There is a difference between a blocked shot and a shot to the wrist.
How does Lebron go up for a shot and get hit in the face only to have it be called as a non-shooting foul? I guess Lebron must have his own rule book or something. D-Wade got went to the line last season for pretty much having a fly land on him which I thought was insane and now Lebron is getting pummeled and nothing is being called.
Also can't forget when Z was on the ground 5 feet away from a ref that was looking straight at him without anyone else blocking the line of site. Z is laying on the ground looking straight at this ref and calling for the timeout and the ref was just looking at him until Detroit was able to get to the ball 2 or 3 seconds later and then he finally blew his whistle for a jump ball.
I will not watch another minute of this FIXED basketball. I'll be happy if the Cavs somehow pull it off but I will not watch another minute.

that doesn't matter...
2 bad calls in the last 30 seconds...
it doesn't matter, having a 12 point lead doesn't matter, having a 12 point lead doesn't mean the refs lose their whistle in the closing minute...
i didn't blame the refs in game one, because they weren't calling anything all night, i did say that there were some bad no-calls, but i didn't blame the officiating, tonight, i do, and it's pretty damn obvious...
this team has been robbed of a chance to win this series...

Yea, this was pretty bad. Rasheed blatenly pushed off on that play where he scored the go ahead basket. I mean it was pretty ridiculous. Lebron was almost none existant in the second half. We can't win games when Lebron doesn't show up in the second half. He was way too passive.
IMO, Mike Brown is one of the worst coaches at making adjustments. Why do you take Gibson out? He was playing stellar defense on Billups, knocking down shots, and getting the ball to open teamates. Brown never rides the hot player. It happens every single game. Someone is playing well, then Brown sits them and they practically don't even play the rest of the game. It's just so frustrating when you watch a team and know that they keep blowing oppourtunities. Really, this team is awful to watch. We completely blow every chance that we have. We could very easily be up 2-0 right now. Instead, we have to win 4 out of 5 to win the series. I have all the faith in the world, but I would be willing to bet $1,000 that this series is done.

THIS DAMN SERIES IS SO F-ING RIGGED IT'S RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Lebron doesn't even go to the line the first game, GD obvious foul on Andy by Wallace at one end for Detroit to take the lead this game.
It's obvious we gotta start getting a commanding lead before the closing seconds of the game or we might as well just bend over and take this BS right now.
Where the hell was Z on the last play of the game? He's one of the best offensive rebounders on our friggin team and he's not in there. You know damn well LeBron is driving, you know it, I know it, the Pistons knew it, everyone in that damn arena knew it. Z and Andy should be under that freaking basket when leBron Drives for possibly a tip in or a rebound if he misses.
I'm tired, i'm so tired of this CRAP. This team is weak in the clutch and folds in the face of adversity. We are going to be Detroits red headed step child for a very long time.
Another thing. Think this isn't rigged? How many commercials were remotely about the cav's through this whole game? I seen one for Chauncey, an add for "how Rip hamilton gets in shape." I know that's petty but it's also pretty convienent.
Well bring on the stake media and let's burn Lebron on it again. I'm sure you can find something he did wrong.

we played like crap because we don't have a point guard. trade hughes get some one who isn't an idiot with shooting and can make decent decisions and this team will go far.

Why? Because DESPITE the fact that we played like crap, Detroit did too and we SHOULD HAVE won. I'll be one of those guys that says we should've played better up until the point when refereeing literally costs us the game. Sheed stiff armed Varejao, LeBron got hacked, and nothing got called. I don't care how poorly you played, there's no excuse for losing like that.

I agree - get rid of Hughes and his over-priced contract. He's a joke. Wide open 7 footer???? Come on Larry. Regardless of the no call on LJ, if Hughes hits that wide open gimme jumper, no big deal. Hughes is just flat out terrible. Gibson needs more playing time, the kid can shoot. Obviously what we are doing now is not going to work, so get Gibson some more pt.

Turn out the lights, the party is over. OK, so now we know the Cavs just aren't that good and maybe, just maybe, King James isn't the basketball god that we were led to believe or "witness" to. Sure blame the refs if it makes you feel better. But at the half didn't you have the feeling that this was going to be a repeat of Game #1? You just know Detroit was going to pull it out --- the Cavs just don't have what it takes to be a winner. The Q should be a morgue on Sunday night.
