Sure they're problems. We're not making any excuses, just pointing out a lousy rule. If the point of the game is to keep officiating out of it, then why run the clock because they're setting up. In college they stop the clock at first down and start it as soon as they place the ball.

This ain't college. I can think of a half dozen college rules that would help the Browns. Theses are pros who should play like pros. Taking 10 seconds longer to spot the ball with the clock stopped would not have effected the outcome of this game.

Do you really think having another play at the end of the game wouldn't have affected this game at all? Is that your final answer?

I'm thinking we switch to a 2 year plan, you know set attainable goals.

That's correct. Considering their horrible play calling and even worse execution for the entire season any and every intelligent statistician, savvy bookmaker, or wise NFL analyst would agree that one more play would not have made a difference. With any other NFL team it might. But not with these clowns.

It might have. All it takes is one well run play to change an entire game. I will admit I was yelling at that fat, chewed bubble gum looking, gimp ref to get the ball set quicker, but the pass over the middle is what really killed time off clock for us.
