man, it takes *so* long to do this. I do it every year. Gotta look at expiring contracts, depth, potential cap cuts, etc. Good luck.

Thanks but they are always way off. It would be a good tool if they didn't have such bad data.

I'll do three at a time because I am afraid of long-term commitments.
Titans: --I think they need a RT badly. --Running back is a huge concern. --Not mentioned from your site was cornerback. They are a mess at that position. --I think they need another WR, as well.
Browns: --I would change DE to simply saying an elite pass rusher. We desperately need a guy that teams must game-plan for each week on offense. --Obviously, we need a WR w/some size who knows how to use his body to shield off defenders in tight quarters. --I hate saying this, but I think we need another corner. I am not counting on Haden, Williams was a disaster, Gilbert is even worse, and we let Skrine walk. --I don't think there is a qb worthy of a first or second round pick unless Wentz knocks my socks off.
Chargers: Disagree w/the takes of that site. --They desperately need help on the OL. --They need a lot of help at both corner and safety. --Yes, WR is a need.
I'll do one more:
Cowboys: --Corner is a huge need for them. --I think it's too early to give up on Randy Gregory, so I would wait until later to get a DE. --They do have to get a qb at some point. --I think WR is a need for them. Who really stepped-up this year. They at least need a #2. --Novacec is getting older. Do they have a solid back-up TE? I can't remember.

Thanks. So far I have just copied what CBS had. I think they actually meant a 3-4 DE for us, which we need, but not as much as an edge rusher.

Cowboys need another DE because Hardy was on a one year deal. Gregory and Lawrence out there together would get bowled over.
Novacec is definitely getting older. Gotta be pushing 50 by now, lol.

anything draft-related gets on the nerves of the mods... so this is the rule (you can see it in the Tailgate forum descriptions)
"NFL Draft discussion goes here as well until the off-season draft forum is created."

I am going to go watch the Cavs, but will do a couple of more.
Jax: I didn't watch them much. I just know their defense was horrid. Sorry.
Baltimore: --WR --Free Safety --LT. Monroe has been a disappointment. --TE --I agree w/your site that they are going to need an edge rusher.
SF: --Just about everything. WR for sure. QB. DL.
Miami: They need a heart transplant. --OL is weak. --Corners --This is another team I didn't see much of.
--Tampa Bay: --DE would be number one --Corner --I think they will look to replace a safety, probably Conte. --A possession WR.

cornerback safety probably a tackle I don't really see the Browns as having a "top need". I get that if you don't have a QB than it's kind of automatic, but I see all the positions we both listed as incredibly weak. I really think our top priority as a team is to be able to stop the run. I don't think we're getting anywhere, most certainly not out of the AFCN until we can do so. After that it's the development of the passing game which includes both QB and WR. It will be hard to ignore the tackle position if we lose Schwartz and possibly Thomas via trade. I don't think we will lose both but you never know. It hurts to see all the needs we have.

22. Seattle Seahawks 2015 record: 10-6 (.520) Top need: Cornerback Other needs: Wide receiver, defensive tackle, offensive tackle
Its probably better to wait to see what defense we'll run before we talk about defensive positions. Quarterback for sure with Manziel's latest antics, but I'm not yet convinced any QB in this class is a top 5 pick. Per Seattle, I know you copied from CBS to start, but I'm not sure what the fascination with their "lack" of WRs is, but they had a 1000+ receiver and 3 other 600+ yard receivers. I wish our receivers were so terrible. CB opposite Sherman wasn't terrible enough to be their top need, when their OL is average at best and I believe 2 or 3 starters are FA. Similarly with DL, I know at least Rubin and Mebane are FA. And they can't sign all of these guys and Bruce Irvin too (as well as keeping Chancellor happy). To me, it is OL, OL OL, DL, DL in no particular order, assuming they keep Irvin.

I've been researching some of the teams to see what they need for my own use and I try to go to other team's message boards to get a feel of what the their team's fans have to say as they usually have a good idea on what their team needs are and this is what I have so far.
Tennessee Top need: DB They need help at both S and CB. FS M.Griffin has not played up to the contract he got a few years ago, SS has been a revolving door, and at CB P.Cox has been serviceable but they need someone opposite him.
Other needs: RT, RB, DE At RT Byron Bell has been below average and is a FA. At RB the Titans have a couple of nice change of pace backs in Sankey and McCluster but they lack a full-time carry the rock guy. Defensively they need someone on the line to help J.Casey.
San Diego Top need: S FS Eric Weddle will not be back and SS J.Addae is better suited as a backup.
Other needs: both OTs, WR, TE RT Barksdale is a journeyman who is a FA and LT King Dunlap will be 31 and has only played 1 full season in his career. The Chargers need someone to team up with Keenan Allen at WR as the rest are no better then backup types. TE is a need as both Gates and Green are FAs plus Gates may retire.
Dallas Top need: DE Greg Hardy will not be back and the Boys already lacked a pass rush.
Other needs: DT, QB, WR, OLB They lack playmakers at DT and Hayden is a FA. At QB they need someone who can be groomed to take over for Romo. At WR they lack someone with speed to compliment Bryant, Williams, Beasley, and Street. The Boys need an OLB who can cover RBs and TEs as Hitchens is better suited as a backup.
Jacksonville Top need: CB The Jags lack talent at this key position as former Packer D.House has been their best player.
Other needs: DE, OLB, FS, C The Jags need pass rush help and DE A.Branch is a FA. At OLB 30 year old journey man Dan Skuta is starting. FS was filled by a cast of players. S.Wisniewski the starting C is a FA.
Baltimore Top need: WR Steve Smith is going to be 37 and coming off an AC injury and last years draft pick Breshad Perriman was a bust before landing on IR.
Other needs: OLB, S, OL depth The Ravens lack a Big time pass rusher as Upshaw just doesn't have the speed and agility plus he will be a FA. At the FS spot the Ravens employed Kendrick Lewis who failed to Intercept a single pass this year and Will Hill while a pleasant surprise is one failed drug test from a year long suspension and Matt Elam still hasn't shown that he can be the answer at either S spot. The Ravens lack depth on their OLine and LT E.Monroe has trouble staying healthy.

He added, particularly LT when it comes to addressing the offensive line. Kinda disappointed in Greg Robinson.

If you are a fan of a specific team or are getting this info from someone that is, please mention that as well so I can give it a bit more weight.

Green Bay Top need: OL They need help at LT and more depth due to injury.
Other needs: CB, S, TE
After 55 years, I'm walking away from this dumpster fire. Good luck to everyone who continues to hang on. You'll need it.
