I'll believe it when we go 12-4. Until then I have SERIOUS reservation about these hires so far.

It shouldn't take a 12-4 season to ease your mind, but I do understand people having reservations. It's a normal human condition. I remember my father having reservations about color televisions. He thought they were a fad and would never last.

As for tape. They will outsource that to the new guy yet to he hired and his team. You seen to ignore the fact that the coach and his hand picked talent evaluator will have significant input during the draft process.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Can our baseball guy measure what is in a man's heart?

Can he measure desire?

Can he measure toughness or players desire to continue playing, hurt?

Most of the arguments against analytics seem to come from people that don't understand it.

So I'll give everyone so free analytics that may change their life.

The Powerball lottery is now up to $800 mil.

While your odds of winning aren't very good, I can improve those odds for you. Do not pick the same numbers that came up last drawing. The odds of the same numbers twice in a row is very small. Since I helped you out, I expect a share of the winnings.

Actually since it is random selection I believe the chance of the same numbers is mathematically the same as any other combination..

Like flipping a coin.. if i'st heads the first time the odds are still 50/50 on the next flip

But since you were talking to yourself you can only expect to share your own winnings.

The odds of those numbers coming up again is mathmatically the same as it was last drawing. The odds of you choosing those numbers after you knew that they came up last drawing and them coming up again is 1 in 10,000,000 squared or 1e to the 14th.

Yes on the first part.

As far as mac and ddub agreeing, I think I could calculate that, but I'd have to take my shoes off.

I agree with mac a lot. But when he gets off his meds and starts making intergalactic assumptions as back up for his conspiracy theories I have to step in. Me and mac have been on this board a long, long time. We have a pretty good history actually, have had some good debates back in the day.

You know it was less than a year ago that I realized the little piggy who went to market didn't go grocery shopping.
