This should stop any in house fighting. The Browns have interviewed Swagger for the GM position and hired Brownie the cat as the head coach. What could go wrong?

Here's the problem I foresee. Swagger isn't the smartest guy on the block, but he's loyal to the core so he will end up trusting Brownie too much making him the defacto coach/GM with ultimate authority. Brownie, I've heard rumored, is also pretty conniving and untrustworthy. He'll throw Swagger and his players under the bus if given the chance. Not to mention the PR disaster the Browns will have on their hands once it goes down hill as they'll surely be accused of being racist toward either cats or dogs if they have to let one or the other go. Potentially toxic situation. Typical Browns.

Pretty much how I feel. Brownie also has a reputation for sleeping a lot and being unpredictable at times. He will suddenly bolt out of his coaches room and into another room for no apparent reason.
I don't like this hire. If I'm right I will remind you all. If I'm wrong I'll pretend I was on board all along.

I don't know. I've heard it is easy to get in to his doghouse and hard to get out.

I don't like the hire, they resemble the old guys to much.

Are we really going to continue judging these candidates based solely on the reputations of their mentors? I mean did we learn nothing with NE assistant coaches? We should judge Swagger on his own merits and I don't buy he's smart for ONE MINUTE no matter the pedigree of Bullmastiffs everywhere . Side bar to note I agree with you on Bullmastiffs. They're a smart group. I just don't know about this Swagger fellow. He rubs me the wrong way. Literally. Came right up to my leg and just got fur everywhere. Or maybe that was Brownie...he IS a sneaky one after all.

Swagger seems friendly, but he has a bone to pick with everyone.

I hear that there are already problems leading up to the draft. Swagger prefers players from Georgia state, and Washing State, While Brownies prefers players from Clemson and Penn State.

If they take 8x10 glossys of Mel Kipers top 30 big board and lay them on the floor, let Swagger take a crap and pick the guy he crapped on, our drafts will probably improve.
