He did really good in his first year with New Orleans.

Lure Gunther Cunningham away from the Lions, make him the HC and stick with him.

Still coaching though and probably has a few years left in the tank. What this organization needs is experienced people to begin a new culture. It doesn't necessarily have to be a long term project to get things going in the right direction.
They are at the bottom, and it doesn't get any worse than it is now.

So I wonder why we had a better defense before he joined the Brown's. Then we had a better defense after he left the Brown's? The Cowboys had the best sack numbers in the NFL one year before he joined them. Their defense nearly dropped out of site after he joined.

New Orleans had good defense talent when Ryan joined them. He had one decent year with them. Then he fell into his usual blitz and prevent defensive tactics that so many QB's know how to pick apart these days.

He'd make a terrible HC and he's not very good DC.

I do think he'd actually make a decent RB and WR coach though. That's what he cut his teeth on early in his career for five years at Tenn. State.

Nobodys coming here.
The useless march to lose the top pick has begun.
Is Mike Jynkun still available?

The Bills (and Rex Ryan) hired Rob Ryan today. I wonder if anyone else would have given him a chance. He's been terrible for awhile now.

The Bills defence could be crazy aggressive next year, all-or-nothing. Rob could be a hero or a zero...

In a way, so do I. It's either going to work wonderfully well, or the brothers will go down with the ship...

This will be interesting to watch. No reason to hold a thing back; just get after it like there is no tomorrow. Just a crazy set-up that could be great or nasty. I don't expect much middle ground here.

Based on Rob's last several defenses, yes, they will be aggressive. And give up a ton of yards and points.

The only people in Buffalo this hire will more negatively affect is buffet owners.

They're inline to be the greatest team that talks and doesn't back up anything they preach. Least the pressers with them two should be amusing.

When was the last time Rob even put together a decent defense? Ah well, glad we didn't hire any of the Ryans.

So, that just means he's been bad at what he does for 28 years.... it doesn't mean he's good at it.

Also, watch the name calling with the "bozos" bit...

Glad the Browns dodged that bullet. The Ryans are bozos. LOL
