Our old boy, Buddy, was the master of the 2-minute nap as a pup, after which he would tear through the house at breakneck speed, terrorizing any person, place, or thing in his path. Funny as hell to see. Not so funny when he would just squat and pee wherever he happened to be when the urge struck him. Where'd you get him?

So far Winston stays awake for about 10 minutes...does his business outside (thank goodness), gets a couple laps of food and water, teeths on your finger for a minute, then naps for an hour and does it all again. We are heading out to the pet store before going to shoot some darts to get some puppy things. We weren't prepared for a puppy...he was listed in the paper yesterday along with 3 siblings. 2 were already gone when Julie called. It was Winston and the runt left. The runt was fawn and white and a bit more skittish, so she chose the first-born white one. Now we need all the "stuff" for him. Crate, teething chews, toys, harness, etc. Also going to try a cuddler thingy that you warm in the microwave for bed time. He doesn't like to sleep alone yet since he's used to his doggie family. It was a fun night. #gmstrong #gmlapdance

I always regretted not taking both, but we already had our Golden, Molly at that time, and 3 dogs seemed like too many. We later found out that it isn't when we got Zeke, the Lab-Shepherd. It was more work having 3, but more fun too. Just my long-winded way of saying that if you have room, you might consider going back for the sib ... or not. Anyhoo, good luck with the pup and great job saving a life.

She has a ton of dogs that she is looking for homes for. Unfortunately she is at peak capacity so she desperately need to get dogs into permanent homes or to get fosters so she doesnt have to turn dogs away that will end up being euthanized. So we are going to foster for awhile until we find that perfect dog . I am just not in a big rush to premanently adopt because once we do we will not be able to help the rescue group anymore because we will have as many dogs as we can handle. If there is anyone looking to add a great family dog to their home. Google Pointers from OZ and contact Erin Horan. Tell her Steve Haviland referred you.
