Yeah we aren't even on same planet with San antonios defense and bench. They are crazy good

Horrible shooting team, we are the jr smith of teams when it comes to shooting, off or on as a team it seems. Lebron and kyrie ball hogging have a lot to do with that and it seems to go that way when they are off

San Antonio doesn't have a single hole on that team

Kyrie and Love can't afford to play this awful versus a championship caliber team.

I'm not sure, we pretty much folded the second half. But we play good at home. It's why home court will be so important

Have to get tougher and better defensively. We have no resistance

Trust me. San Antonios defense is getting the same treatment the Seattle Seahawks defense gets, ESPECIALLY at home,

Seems like every game against a contender we have a chance to make a statement we roll over. There is zero flow on either side of ball right now.

I hate to "blame the refs", but they really killed our momentum. They seemed determined to keep the game from being a blow-out early on, and the Cavs just sort of mentally folded after that. That's on the Cavs though. They need to stay focused even if they aren't getting calls, hit their open shots and not play lazy defense.

Our offense got as cold as ice. People taking bad shots with plenty of time left on the 24 second clock. Stopped moving the ball. LBJ got cold but kept shooting/driving it.

Kevin Love one on one with Tim Duncan was laughable and still, no help came. What a crappy game. Why in the world didn't we play Shumpret more? Ugh.

A few thoughts on the game:

--It was one of the best games I watched this season. Very competitive game between two very good teams.

--Parker destroyed our point guards off the dribble.

--TT did an excellent job on Alridge.

--Love rebounded well, but he didn't step-up on offense when we really needed him.

--I know Kyrie is like a god w/many of you, but he really irritates me. His defense is putrid. Hard to believe he played at Duke. He dribbles too much on offense. Yeah, it looks good. It can make you go "oohhh" and "ahhh," but he often doesn't get open w/all of that dribbling exhibition and it stagnates our offense. I thought we were a better team w/Delly on the floor.

--Leonard really dominated LBJ in the second half. That surprised me.

--Love missed a shot in the fourth and didn't run back on D. That was LeBron-esque.

--I actually was okay w/the contributions from JR and Shump.

--We are a better team w/TT than we are w/Moz right now. The moment is never too big for TT. In fact, he seems to have his best games in bigger games.

--Shump really helps us on the defensive end. His hands are so quick. He is shooting it pretty good, too. I like his game.

--We must get better defensively. We must stop [no, make that limit] the ISO crap and run more motion. Blatt can give us that offense. We just need LBJ to buy into it.

--Did LeBron really overrule Blatt and send Kyrie to the bench in favor of Delly down the stretch? blush

right now we can't stop penetration because our guards are slow and don't move their feet, and we can't protect rim because both our centers are below average defenders...Moz was serviceable last year..not sure what happened there..but I'm telling you guys, Lue has to go if this defense doesn't get fixed, its his scheme and he's the "defensive coordinator" we have a couple good on the ball defenders but our team defense is lacking...putting love on duncan with no help is just stupid, especially down the stretch. Not playing shump unless hurt was stupid down the stretch. I guess theres rumblings we might Trade for Morris..that would be a interesting...he's a 4 that can shoot a bit so he could give love spells, plus he's a hardnose guy...we need to get tougher as a team..right now they allow teams to impose their will against us a bit too much. We just can't seem to get consistency on either side of the ball. We're still a damn good team that when its all clicking I don't think anyone can beat us in 7, problem is i think right now SA and GS are better because of their consistency and coaching. I love lebron but I really think at times he hinders progress of the team..he has to realize he's not 25 anymore and him isolating people doesn't scare anyone, especially guys like leonard. He should be making a concerted effort to buy into Blatts offense.

I think they put Love on Duncan because they viewed Aldridge as the bigger threat, thus they put TT on Aldridge. There was one play where Love received no help, but that may have been an execution thing, because we saw JR bluff and retreat when the Spurs went back to Duncan on the next play.

We tried to shoot our way out of our struggles toward the end of that game. Defense wasn't good, but when you have horrible offensive possessions, it's going to look worse.

The Cavs have work to do, but the freakout level over a game in January is sooo Cleveland. If nothing else the Cavs have some pretty good film to file away for the future.

I think fans sometimes get away from the fact that the post season truly is a brand new season. I thought the Cavs played a pretty solid game for the most part, they just dug themselves too deep of a hole late in the game. It was a good game to measure yourself up, and for the most part I thought we did pretty good. Can't wait to face them again at the Q.

My college coach used to have a saying that i've heard alot since..live by the 3 die by the 3, that's really the cavs in a nutshell. We don't have a post game and noone plays the midrange game with the exception of shump/mo. I hope mo gets back soon because he's a much better option than delly when we're struggling to score. He's another one of those guys that can get hot and carry you for a bit. Playing them at home should help...we've been on the road for quite a bit already..I think they are all ready for the ASB

I think in traveling with a Division 1 college basketball program for two years I may have learned a little bit. But dont feel the need to tell everyone they dont know anything, like you do.

Incredible defense tonight. Nice bounce back from a tough loss.

Observations from the Houston game:

--Unlike the San Antonio game, this game was not well-played. Both teams were sloppy and the effort was poor.

--I said something about who would cover Harden. It turns out, no one had to. Was he hungover or something? Sheesh, how many unforced turnovers did he have?

--I thought the game turned around when LBJ, Love, and Kyrie were sent to the bench and Blatt inserted Andy, Shump, and TT into the game. That lineup played hard and turned a deficit into a lead.

--I would like to see more of Andy and TT in the game together.

--LBJ walks back on defense way too much. Now, Love is doing the same thing. I despise that. I don't know how Blatt can stand coaching under those circumstances. I would bench anyone who walked back on defense. If you are too tired to run, then come have a seat by me on the bench. Of course, in the NBA....the players rule and that is why the NBA sucks.

--I really like Shump's game. He has grown on me. He plays hard. Quick hands. Good feet. His shot is okay, too. We need more attitudes like his, TT's, and Andy's and less of LBJ's.

--I really am getting to have a strong dislike for LeBron. Turning it over, walking back, hoisting 3s that aren't in the rhythm of the offense, and then getting on other player's cases.

--Moz has become a liability. I hope he can return to last year's form.

--JR is playing well under Blatt. He can shoot it, as we all know. But, he can also drive the ball and at least he tries on defense, unlike LeBron and Kyrie.

--Speaking of Kyrie, does he get paid by the amount of times he dribbles the ball? Sheesh! People go ga-ga over his handle, but it would be nice if he used it to go somewhere. Don't get me wrong, he does go somewhere at times and I love that, but too many times he goes to a spot where he eventually gets caught in the air and he either hoists up a crappy shot or throws an inaccurate pass to a guy as the shot clock is winding down.

--Overall..........good road trip for the Cavs. I just watch this team and always come away thinking: What could be..........

that's a lot of negatives for a team that just crushed houston by 20.

Some people just aren't happy. We just won 5 of 6 straight road games against some pretty good teams, and demolished the Rockets the night after a gruelling game vs SA. It's January, not April. Blatt's still experimenting with the rotations. Lebron and Love SHOULD be taking it easy and doing just enough to win so they can have a full tank when the games really matter. You can't go 100% for 82 games. Personally, I don't think they're resting Lebron enough. He should be taking more games off.

i've said it before, he's the best in the game. That was a good one, but one i liked better was dribbling full speed like stopped instantly, crossover and went to the rim while beverly was just standing at the 3 point line wondering wtf...the rest of the game it looked like beverly had his own personal beef with kyrie. Kyrie went to work after that and destroyed him..it was funny, houston is done, that team will be blown up before trade deadline
