Sashi Brown and Paul DePodesta will meet with the media tomorrow at 12:30 PM It's not until tomorrow but I wanted to beat cfrs to the punch.  I'm sure there will be plenty to digest after the fact.

I don't know if this is an announcement of a new GM or not. I would think that if it was, Haslam would be there.
I suppose it could be to announce some contracts that were terminated (both players and coaches) or maybe to announce some hirings for Coaches.

Speaking of Sashi Brown, I didn't realize that he came from the same law firm in DC that Richard Cass (president of the Ravens) came from. Not sure why that's even important or even interesting,, just something I just found out. LOL

...Kirby Wilson- RB I would hope those coaching hires come from the HC's 'desk', most likely from a press release. I would think any hiring announcement from them would be the GM. But who knows? I'm guessing this conference is to address the approach of using analytics as a tool and answer the media's questions about the approach that have festered since both were hired.

We'll be promoting a guy from personnel, probably Chisom Opara, to the "GM" position.
They have to have that top personnel guy in place really soon, and it would not surprise me if Opara has already been in charge of organizing the scouting and such for the Senior Bowl.

' having just finished listening to the presser, I can agree 100%, that's what it was about. There was no discussion that tied names to open positions. Nothing about hires beyond Hue. This was about Paul and Sashi.

As of now, I'm not sure who is going to be in control of the 53. It does not sound like the new hire will have that authority and I'm not sure Sashi and/or Podesta are qualified.
Hue might have more say in the 53 than advertised. Hiring the guy to fill the GM position that is not really a GM is turning out to be harder than I thought it would be.
