Not for nothing, But I just saw on facebook that Von Miller tweeted support to Johnny Manziel and apparently, Johnny responded in some fashion.
That's actually good news right, it means he's still alive.

This kid needs committed right away. The fact his father specifically told the sheriff or police he feared for his son's mental health and possible suicide, he should have been committed on the spot.
This kid has some deep and troubling issues going on. I mean Ray Farmer, what in the world were you thinking? This whole Manziel ordeal is just sad in so many ways.

This brings to light some of JM's other issues. No I'm not talking about the inflatable swan, money phone, rolled up bill, fake mustache, etc.
There have also been some more troubling instances that have sort of been glossed over. Off the top of my head:
- In his last domestic issue with his ex-girlfriend, two independent motorists were concerned enough with what JM was doing to call the police on him. I think the significance of this has been understated. Yeah she was drunk and her story was inconsistent but regardless, it's not like people were calling the cops on him for no reason. Or at least I'd assume not (I wasn't there so I can only use some deductive reasoning on this).
- The incident where JM punched a fan in the face at The 9, then his entourage gave the fan a beatdown
- The time JM threw a water bottle at a fan in a golf tournament. Maybe not a huge deal in isolation but seriously, that is the type of behavior I would expect from a small child
- The time he was arrested at A&M for getting into a bar fight and producing a fake ID
I'm sure there are others, both reported and not reported. I have an educated guess as to what's going on here and it's just not all that complicated-- Billy is an angry drunk. Or if the girl with the ruptured eardrum is right, he's an angry drug user. I'm not aware of him ever failing a drug test but keep in mind that the NFL does not test for recreational drugs during the season. He would not be subjected to random testing for street drugs until April 20th unless he has some other arrangements for whatever reason.

hasu...trying to diagnose Johnny is sort of a waste of brain power at this point.
Regardless of what we think is bothering Johnny, it will very soon be someone else's problem and not the Browns problem.
Johnny will be cut and on his own to defend himself against the charges brought. At the same time, the NFL is investigating Johnny's domestic violence issues.
Unless Johnny is somehow found innocent, it is not likely that he will see a football field for at least a year.
At that point, Johnny will be forced to face his addictions and behavior or he may never play in the NFL again.
Simply put, Johnny toasted his chance to play in the NFL...it is the end of the Johnny Football era, for at least the next year or so and maybe forever.

In a report on the league’s own network, the Browns have been accused of lying about Johnny Manziel having a concussion in an effort to cover up that the real problem with Manziel was showing up to work drunk.
“Johnny Manziel, going into what would have been a start late in the season, showed up drunk at practice on a Wednesday. The Browns lied and said he was in the concussion protocol. Let me repeat that: The Browns lied, to try to protect, and I would argue enable, this irresponsible and very troubled young man,” Mike Silver said on the air on NFL Network.
As PFT pointed out at the time, there’s always been something very fishy about Manziel’s Week 17 concussion diagnosis. On Monday of the last week of the season, then-Browns coach Mike Pettine said he planned to talk to Manziel about a video that appeared to show him drinking alcohol and partying. At that time, there were no reports that Manziel being checked for a concussion. Then, when Manziel showed up to work on Wednesday, it was announced that he had a concussion and couldn’t play in that Sunday’s season finale. It was never explained why the Browns only diagnosed this concussion three days after it supposedly happened, and two days after Pettine said he was going to have a stern talk with Manziel about his off-field issues.
If NFL Network’s report is correct, the NFL should come down hard on the Browns. The league has spent the last few years repeating, over and over again, that concussions are to be taken seriously. If the Browns are using bogus concussion diagnoses to avoid having to discuss players’ off-field problems, that would be an appalling misuse of the league’s injury reports.
So while the Browns are done with Manziel, they may not be done paying the price for hitching their wagon to him. Cleveland could be facing league discipline for lying about a concussion.
Sounds like they wanted to protect him, but one has to wonder, if he was drinking and they called it a concussion, why did they fine him for missing a meeting for the concussion protocol? Seems a bit odd but hey, what the hell do I know.

The phantom concussion is old news and the rumors were that he showed up to practice drunk. I think there was a wink and nod agreement with the NFL, but now that it's out in the media... http://operations.nfl.com/updates/football-ops/2015-nfl-injury-report-policy/Clubs or individuals who violate the policy are subject to discipline including fines, suspensions, or the possible forfeiture of a draft choice. In the event of a dispute with respect to compliance of the policy, the burden will be on the club to demonstrate that its actions were consistent with the intent of the policy.
The Injury Report Policy is of paramount importance to maintaining the integrity of the game.

Austin Davis was terrible in that game. And while Manziel did not play well the week before in KC, he did play "well" against Pitt earlier in the year..

Well, the Browns sure answered that quickly.
So an independent doctor had to review his claim of symptoms? Well, unless that doctor says, he didn't show signs of concussion, then this is much ado about nothing.

I kind of thought rock bottom was already hit, but this Manziel saga just continues to crash and burn. March when we can officially separate ourselves from him cannot possibly get here soon enough.
Pettine was stacked with overwhelming odds by just having that kid on the roster. I can't imagine, outside of the constant media haggling, what Mike really had to endure by drafting him.

I never thought it was anything but him showing up drunk/hungover. He probably complained of a screaming headache, maybe some blurry vision, which happens to be concussion symptoms After the flack the coaching staff caught for benching him previously, I figured this was the nice, politically correct way of re-benching the schmuck while avoiding all the "oh, he's just a kid having fun" drama-queen feedback.
