Yeah Curry is the reason i think they have a 98% chance to win it all again. I don't see how we can match up. They are better in just about every category, particularly defense.

I think we should look at Kevin Martin as a guy to fill one of those bench seats. he's very similar to johnson statwise, plus an ohio native. I think we should shut Mo down and bring in Miller as well

It's hard for me to believe that a team that involves Luis Scola as prominently as the Raptors do will beat the Cavs. If Demarre Carroll comes back, then I would give them like a 5% chance of beating Cleveland.

Considering the Cavs traded Varejao away after 12 seasons, he surely holds some newfound animosity toward the franchise. And Bogut, who played against the Cavs in last year's finals, certainly knows a rematch is most likely in store this year, too. But more than anything, Bogut's words about Varejao's experience in Golden State reveal for the umpteenth time that the Warriors are simply in a different stratosphere of basketball. It's not really a surprise. He'll get minutes there guaranteed, and with Wade's injury history, could play important minutes. He would struggle to get as many minutes in Cleveland.

Anyone that doesn't think Toronto can beat us in playoffs is crazy and obviously don't watch much basketball. Toronto is a better team than we are since January. Cavs can't defend the rim or stop penetration. Both strengths to what Toronto does offensively

Yeah but that might have been more of being a young team not playing in playoffs before. I expect them to be much better this year. Don't think they can beat us in 7 but it would totally be out of the realm of possibilities. They are scrappy

I'm really losing any hope of a ring for the Cavs, between our FO being a mess and firing a coach for a worse coach mid-season, to how bad our guards are, and Lebron falling off a cliff in ability..then I watch a warriors game and say..yeah..no fing way we beat them in 7, I'd be more worried about us getting out of the east..Toronto is for real.

The way I see it, there are only two teams that can win the title: Golden State (95% chance) and San Antonio (the other 5% chance).
Cleveland cannot defend, doesn't have the guard play, nor the attitude to beat either of those two teams in the west (especially the Warriors).
To be honest, this Cavs team makes me sick. I don't like how they play on either end of the court and I don't really like their personality (heck, I've grown tired of Lebron as well).
Typical Cleveland: even with Lebron James we still won't win anything

Well I'm going to continue my run of starting Cavs opponents PGs in FanDuel at least.. I often do the same thing. Lowry had 68.5 fantasy pts last night. I know that a lot of people don't care about fantasy bb, but man, the Cavs have a huge problem defending the other team's point guards. Not only do those guys score a lot, but they typically get a lot of assists because of how other Cav defenders have to switch to help. It also leads to offensive boards by the opponents bigs for the same reason.

I'm just wondering how bad the Cavs would be had they not signed TT. He is one of the only "team" players that actually get a lot of playing time. I guess Delly plays a lot, but .....

Teams with championship aspirations don't meltdown, and none of the shots by lowry were miracle. They were open shots because Lue refused to call the double on him. Thats all on Lue, you can't have Delly guarding 95% of the PG's one on one, especially one as aggressive as Lowry. Everyone can dismiss this as just another game but I don't see a very good team when I watch the cavs, you can't win a ring giving up 100 points a game. Funny side note, under Blatt we were giving up 95 points a game. The perimeter defense has to get better by alot. It exposes our bigs consistently, i watched love or TT have to come over to help on lowry at the rim countless times and it always ended up being an assist from lowry to the guy they left for a dunk or a gimme. Theres alot to fix and I don't see how Lue with his limited experience even knows what to do. I still don't think they can beat us in 7, but we all know its about the Finals that we have to be concerned.

I'm just wondering how bad the Cavs would be had they not signed TT. He is one of the only "team" players that actually get a lot of playing time. I guess Delly plays a lot, but ..... Our guards are def a big problem, especially Kyrie. I just don't know if he can sacrifice his individual game to setup teammates, and he's at the one position that needs to happen, with his shooting and handles, it would open up alot of people. I consistently see him dribble to the strong side of the defense and instead of moving the ball back around to the weak, he'll try to go 4 on 1 to the rim or take a contested jumper. Its kinda why i really wanted the Irving for CP3 to be true. The issue with the other guard spot isn't really JR, he tries for majority of the time on defense and he can be pretty good, but shump is a waste. His defense isn't all that and his offense is just putrid. I think thats why we are looking to add to the bench. Johnson or Kevin Martin would both play significant more time than shumpert. Johnson isn't happening, so I hope Martin happens and we can snag him.

I really think there is something to the adage that majority of plus level players don't want to play on Lebron's team. Factor that in with our dysfunctional FO and we can see why players when FA rather play elsewhere.
