Please supply opinions.
With what I've seen of this kid, he reminds me of Bettis. I see this guy as a 3 1/2 yard back. Every time he's handed the ball, he's going to get 3 1/2 yards. A lot of 3 and 2s or 3 and 3s this year would be a good thing. Also, if an offense can batter a DL all day, he will get those long runs late in the 3rd and 4th.

I would like a bigger back. But, I think we have bigger needs, and there will be players at those positions of need who won't be reaches (not saying Henry'd be a reach there.)

If we are going to use 32 on improving our running game, I think I'd rather draft his center, Kelly. He's very strong and has shown proficiency with combination blocks. Of course, that is assuming we can't keep Mack.

No Thank You we are ok at RB for now with Crowell and Duke, maybe pick one up late rounds ... JMHO

The other thoughts I have on a good RB: If the league has turned into a passing league, then most defenses are built for passing. When the NFL goes through the running/passing cycles, a team that goes against the current defense of the day tends to win. Also, I just have so many bad memories of a large RB pounding our crap defense late in the game, and none of them were able to stop it.

You can find RBs in a variety of places. Our RBs are not bad. I can't believe how everyone is forgetting how bad our defense is.

Our D is horrible and our QB situation is terrible. The strength of this draft dictates there will be value on D at #32.
We could double up on D at #2 and #32 or go D with one of this picks and QB with the other.
Either of those scenarios makes much more sense than RB at either.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

That said, the first pick of day 2 is a coveted pick. Teams have all night to see names of players still on the board they love.
Unless we have a can't miss pick sitting there that meets our needs and WE love, I take all offers to trade down. Drop down a few slots for another 3rd rounder works for me.

At this stage, unless there's a defensive killer and solid rusher, I'd love to trade down. As stated above, that pick is very coveted. Teams will be dreaming of people left and they have all night of that to dwell on. I'm definitely against taking a RB though.

I did this last year with Cardale, and it didn't turn out, but the RB I want is not in this year's draft, Christian McCaffrey.  There are other RB that could help, Dixon, Prosise, and Collins come to mind, without investing the #32 pick. That said, if Elliot were somehow to fall to #32, take him and don't look back.
