Saw this last week. Early scouting reports says she has a stronger arm than her old man's.

I thought Shaw played better than JF when he came on the field and was doing so coming off of the practice squad.

Connor Shaw is a rich man's Charlie Frye.

I'm not sure how you can't like the kid. He stepped in that one game and operated well. Stood in there like a man, took some hits and delivered the ball well.

The story killer is his arm strength, which is in the same boat as Manning's was this year IMO. Weak.

2014 yes, he studied and worked hard - Manziel was just being his Drunk self and wasted most of that season.

2015 with Sober Manziel...not even close.

Shaw will have to fight with Davis on being the 3rd QB. If we go all out on the QB position and sign a FA QB to start in 2016 and keep McCown as the personal tutor to the QB...err Wentz then neither Davis nor Shaw will be here.

I don't think Shaw has a chance in the NFL. It's a matter of time.

And a new regime...it would be understandable that they take somebody like Studfield late in the draft or even a UDFA to replace Shaw. If they wanted to. Shaw is a very pleasing young QB, smart and efficient so he can stay. But not if they think for any reason he would have to be called on for starting purposes. If we build a great Defense then he would serve his purpose I think.

But to upgrade on him, would not be difficult at all.

He just had one of the weakest arms I've seen in awhile. I think that's the nail in the coffin.

It looked week when he played here.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I like Connor Shaw's attitude and respect for the game. However, you can't make a billy goat into a race horse!

He only played one game lol. While it's true he does not have a strong arm, it is a lot stronger than Mannings arm was this year.

That's not really saying or proving much. If Manning wasn't so damn intelligent, his arm (of recent time) would not allow him to succeed. IMO.

If Brian Sipe wasn't so intelligent his arm would have never allowed him to succeed either.
