I completely agree with that, complete and totally. I'd also say that if we're playing good defense, that seems to help us pickup the intensity and get out of those lazy, playing with no heart, slopes we get into.

Milwaukee is going to sky rocket next year if they get a point guard. I'd love to keep Della, but he'd be perfect for that team.

We could possibly face these teams heading to the finals:
Detroit Boston Toronto
Good God that's such a cake walk compared to the days when we had to face the Celtics Big 3 and Orlando with Dwight.

We might get the Bulls. They've been hurt most of the season. They're currently beating Toronto on the road.

I'll say it, I wish Lebron would stop dunking. I get scared that he's gonna land awkwardly when he does.

The three-ball is sort of our blessing and curse. When we are hitting it, everything works. We flip the ball around, get open looks and generally look like a well-oiled machine. When we aren't hitting it though, we completely lose confidence. That's when we tend to revert back into ISO-ball and stop moving the ball, because guys are afraid of passing to teammates who miss their open looks. Well, we're struggling with the three tonight ...

Here's mine:
Thu Mar 10 at LAL (W) Sun Mar 13 at LAC (W) Mon Mar 14 at UTA (L) Wed Mar 16 DAL (L) Fri Mar 18 at ORL (W) Sat Mar 19 at MIA (L) Mon Mar 21 DEN (W) Wed Mar 23 MIL (W) Thu Mar 24 at BKN (W) Sat Mar 26 at NY (L)
Changed a few things. I don't see us playing in LA, then winning a back to back in Utah.... and I think we will lose the final game resting a bunch of players because our spot is locked up. 2 for 2, here's to hoping I'm wrong tonight.

Our guards are completely worthless. Love needs to be benched for frye . I get its the second of back to back, but this is freaking Utah without Hayward. Always playing down to teams. If you are going to suck this bad just clear the bench and get the starters some rest

That was a headbutt and a thrown punch. Frye is going to get suspended. Dumb.

Its almost like we were on the 4th game of a west coast road trip, and the 2nd game of a traveling back to back or something.

Losses like this game and Memphis suck, but I don't care as long as they learn from them. The Eastern Conference is really weak. Might be worse than last year with how Chicago has struggled badly. Miami is good and probably our only contest in the East, but they're a old team. Toronto is a fraud that will get exposed like they always do in the playoffs. We'd crush Boston because they have zero rim protection. Kyrie and Lebron would feast on that.
They shouldn't think like this, but it's gonna be hard to convince these guys not to focus everything they have on how to beat Golden State.

I think it was a successful road trip for the Cavs. Won 3 out of 4 and destroyed the best team they played.
The Utah game had to be tough. Back-to-back and it was the last game of the trip.
Excel brought up a good point earlier about the Cavs and the 3-ball. They were off last night and their play suffered.
Kyrie and Delly really are liabilities on defense. Not sure how the Cavs overcome that.
Frye is turning into an asset for the Cavs.
Not playing TT enough was a mistake by Lue in this past game. They missed his physical presence.
The Cavs have a chance. They are loaded w/talent. It all depends if they can come together as a "team" in the playoffs.

We just cannot put it together and play consistent yet. I'm glad I didn't stay up to watch that game. My sleep is more precious than watching another loss, especially coming off such a strong showing.

My sleep is more precious than watching another loss, especially coming off such a strong showing. Chalk it up to fatigue. It was the 4th game in 6 days, on the west coast. Second game, of a back-to-back, which required traveling, and the game before was a pretty big game. Like I said before, we're a 3-point or die team. If the 3-pointers aren't falling, we're going to struggle, and that's what happened last night. You could see it was probably because of fatigue. The shots were just coming up short. They still moved the ball around well for the most part. At one point, they passed the ball like 7 times, passing up fairly open looks each time, only to miss the eventual shot they did take. Things won't get any easier this month. After Dallas, we have another road back-to-back, followed by three more games, all in the span of week.

I've said it all season, our guards, particularly our guards individual defense is going to be the end of us. I really can't tell how bad our bigs are on defense when they are constantly having to switch/help because a dleague guard just destroyed our starters. I'm sorry but the more I watch, delly woudn't be getting these minutes anywhere else.. Shame on griffin for not finding some help there knowing mo was going to be out. Shumpert really gives us nothing. We absolutely need better play from our guards to be successful. The guard play was much better last year and TT/mosgov were both better last year protecting the rim, that's not coincidence. Last night sucked, long road trip but getting towards the end of the season you shouldn't have any issues taking out a Utah team that and the bottom of west without a single all star on the team. I mean we made Mack look like the second coming. Everything was slow, ball movement, rotations on defense. Just an ugly game all around. Thats why i suggested they should have just used it as a rest game for love, kyrie and lebron. As long as we keep beating playoff teams like the clippers I think we can be ok. I don't think anyone beast GS this year, but it will be nice to watch a cleveland team in a championship bid 2 straight years. I think we have some work to do in the offseason.

Warning, I didn't watch the full game, but from what I saw, and after talked to a few people... we had open shots, we missed em'.
That's not fatigue, that's just not capitalizing on opportunities. Not what you'd expect from a team loaded with superstars like us. You'd figure, I mean honestly you'd just assume - if one superstar is having a bad night, the next two or three others would step up and we'd not miss a beat. I don't get it.

When you don't have your legs and you're tired, your shots come up short. Salt Lake also has thin air, similar to Denver, so it's probably not the best place to be playing the last game of a long road trip.

I think I'm so hung up on the up and down movement this team displays. Even games we're rested, it gets questionable.

And then the game was over. Good trip, can't win them all (although Golden State does and that's the standard everyone uses to compare against).

I really think everyone is really playing for runner up this year..barring a major injury, GS just looks unstoppable
