I don't involve myself with Racial issues. I find an interesting article I have read and post it. Sometimes it is an interesting video I have seen.
Read and watch if you want but I certainly did not say any of what you are assuming I said.

i read the article.
and for somebody claiming to not involve yourself, you sure do post a ton about it.
there's nothing wrong with that. just don't claim otherwise.

I post interesting articles that have something to do with the subject at hand for your consideration.
In the other thread about our Government treating Blacks badly I posted a video of the government marching hundreds of mostly white soldiers into an atomic bomb explosion. I had read where most of those men were dead from cancer within 20 years.

and i think the government is a bunch of snakes for doing that.
don't even get me started on how they used soldiers for the LSD experiment. i know you heard of that one.

*General catch up reply*
- In regards to ISIS, I think the whole "we (the U.S.) started it all" and revenge being the motive of the terrorists is tired and played out. It may have been true at one point, but now I think it's as simple as they see weakness in us and the West as a whole. Attacking the weak has consistently been their MO from the start. As Swish pointed out, jihadists have killed way more Muslims than they have others. If revenge against the U.S. for sticking our noses in places it doesn't belong was truly the motive, than why are other Muslims being killed at all?
-I'm trying not to be partisan about this next comment but Obama and Clinton "respected around the world"? People actually believe that? If other nations like dealing with them it's not because of respect. It's because Clinton can be bought (as shown through the Clinton Foundation) and Obama will hand you his lunch money. When leaders from Russia, Iran, and recently Cuba meet with Obama then immediately talk shat about him literally within days... in what corner of the world is that considered "respect"?
-the prejudice issue... I'm hoping some of you guys can help me understand this better or show where my thinking is wrong. Why the refusal to use the description "radical Islamist", most notably by Obama? You have to pry it out of him, and that's after several days of efforts more concerned about hurting feelings. I understand not making blanket statements such as saying "all Muslims" when it comes to attacks like the ones in Belgium. I don't think that is being PC. But when someone labels it as "radical Islamists" or the equivalent, doesn't the use of that term actually narrow down who you are talking about? Doesn't it draw and make the distinction between the radicals and the rest?
This is what I'm talking about when I say we are viewed as weak. We can't even get on the same page in terms of what we call it! Add in the fact that our Pres and Sec of State (especially Kerry) constantly get punked out by other leaders, and for balance, even the Reps talking tough (Trump and Cruz) actually contribute to the weakness because they aren't actually proposing anything that hasn't already been done. ISIS and the rest know that the American people don't have the appetite for it. Not only will we not support large scale military action politically, but socially people have no clue. People actually think that retweeting hashtags and changing your Facebook flag means something.
If I'm ISIS looking in, the one thing I see missing is American resolve on so many levels.
Swish is right, if we choose to get involved, we can't half ass it. If we go back in to that region we make it a new U.S. territory... institute our legal system, welfare programs, etc... and also realize that it will be a s**t magnet for terrorists for awhile until the average person over there feels some sort of legitimate empowerment.
But if we go the opposite route, we still have to be able to provide a deterrent. We have to be able to say, "We'll leave you people to slaughter each other to your heart's content and we won't interfere. But you bring that mess our way and you will pay dearly... like "they'll be talking about what we did to you for a thousand years" dearly. It won't be enough to hide under the covers and hope they forget about us.
I need sleep.

it could be tired and played out in your perspective, but good luck convincing the enemy that.
And as far as the "US started it all" comment, well, with regards to the american people, it's true.
this is our mess to clean up, like it or not. Bush had made it clear; if we go into this countries, we need to build it up after invading them.
i sort of agree with that...kinda...but we half assed it the first time.
I really hated Obama's decision to stay in Afghanistan. absolutely hate it.
but, from a strategic standpoint, it makes since. the goal is to turn that place into a version of Kuwait.
For anybody unfamiliar with how kuwait works as far as soldiers go, basically kuwait is a deployment AND duty station.
so some units will get deployed there, but the they're in kuwait to run mission in and out of Iraq and such.
then there are actual permanent duty station units there, like Korea is. you can volunteer for one year, then you gotta go unless you choose to extend. the only difference is that you can't bring your family to kuwait, you can bring them going to korea.
and trust me, there are gonna be PLENTY of people volunteering to go to aghanistan, cause the pay is gonna be crazy.
as far as your comments go about who is weak or respected, i disagree completely.
serving with countless foreign militaries from around the world, and living overseas for extended periods, obama and kerry are well respected.
people really appreciate their diplomacy first methods. ya know....the way things were suppose to be done in the first place.
i know you conservatives hate diplomacy, and think real leaders use military might first, but thats not the way the world works.

That was weev btw. I doubt you're as nerdy as I am to know who weev is. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/infa...message-n547001He's known for the AT&T hacks a few years back. He also did some work with the Ashley Madison stuff as far as looking through the data for government employees. He's a massive troll. And apparently a white nationalist. He fled America after getting out of jail and lives in Serbia or something.

what you call whining, i call valid argument. It is all a matter of ones perspective isn't it. Did I read that the Capital Visitor Center shooter was an old white dude from Tennessee? That's about what I would have expected..

not that it mattered, my comment was in jest originally.
i dunno why you would be surprised, the DC snipers were black.

that could be classified as terrorism, sure.
according to you guys on the board, terrorism can only happen if religion is involved.
so sure.

No, not a terrorist. Just another guy with some problems in his head.
I heard but can't confirm he was armed with a pellet gun.
Suicide by cop attempt?

Hey all - unrelated specifically to Brussels, but definitely related to terror - I can't help but wonder why Paris and Brussels to a lot of attention but the 2 attacks in Turkey the week before Brussels didn't. And the one in Pakistan on Easter didn't get much attention (see link). Is it that both Turkey and Pakistan are Muslim countries and not Christian countries (despite the Pakistan attacks being specifically against Christians)? http://www.reuters.com/article/us-pakistan-blast-idUSKCN0WT0HRThoughts?

People don't care as much when perpetual crap-heap countries have problems.
People care when those problems are being imported into the nice countries.
You could boil it down to race or religion if you wanted, but I imagine a terrorist attack in Tokyo would get quite a bit of media attention as well.
Tons of countries are completely nuts right now: Central African Republic has a million people displaced since 2012, The Congo has been in a civil war for the last 20 years and nearly had a coup last year, Sudan has about 700,000 people displaced recently, Burma/Myanmar is a mess, Thailand is in a persistent state of almost having a coup, North Korea is a literal Orwellian dictatorship, South African leaders sing songs about killing white people, El Salvador and Honduras are friggen cartel war zones.
Basically if you aren't a first world country theres some bad stuff going on all the time.

I won't start a witch hunt against you. Heck I won't even berate you for bringing up an uncomfortable topic that involves race. What I will do is ask you to provide some evidence. I don't think you have any. Show me something credible that says that whites are more likely to engage in pedophilia or similar sick, deviant behavior (on a per capita basis).

Quite simply, the majority of people in this country are of European decent. Also, Western European countries have been the US's traditional allies since WWI. We are heavy trade partners will all these countries. Please note we also get heavier news coverage when natural disasters, accidents, provocations, and terror attacks happen in Japan, S. Korea, China, and other larger trading partner countries in that part of the world. It should also be noted there is more possibility of news coverage in the European and other technologically advanced countries.

i don't have any? well, maybe it's not as credible as you like...but here's some stats straight from the fbi.gov website. https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2010/crime-in-the-u.s.-2010/tables/table-43based from 2010. sex offense: whites - 41,406, blacks - 13,182 offenses against the family and children: whites - 56,233, blacks - 26,470. sick behavior against the family and kids, including sex offenses, looks like you guys are #1. (you're #1!!! you're #1!!!). also, before you go "didn't answer my question", there is no crime for pedophilia, but child molestation is under sex offenses. also, forcible rape: whites - 10,178, blacks - 4,925. i know i know, the FBI isn't really credible, so i guess i need to find something else, right?

that was a fancy way of saying you don't give a damn about them. Honestly, I don't. But that is also why you don't get news from those parts of the world. Lack of coverage, and people can't care about everyone everywhere. How much have you directly done for them?

He is saying per capita - so you now need the number of adult whites and adult blacks in the country to figure this out. According to this link there were roughly 27M blacks and 168M whites over the age of 19. So, per capita 4.88% of blacks were sex offenders and 2.46% of whites were.

I was only a 6 month detail that assisted Turkish soldiers in urban operations.
Also, since I'm part Turkish, I have family that looks up to me, and I help my cousins out everytime they ask for advice
So I do what I can.
How about you? I'm guessing the answer is "nothing".

I don't think that is saying what you think it is saying... Hispanics are included in the white/black numbers there so using these numbers, we get: 72.4% white population 12.8% black population Per capita the rates you posted are actually quite a bit higher for blacks.

Couple things bro.
One, I've been repeatedly told wiki isn't a good source.
That being said. You need to adjust for population in 2010 over 2016.
And then you narrowed it down by age. I didn't.
If we want to play with stats, then I can play with stats.
I made my point. You need to take into consideration that I don't believe in separating crime by race, but that I was making the point that everybody always slams my race for doing something, but if I bring something up, you guys act like it never happened.
But I can't win on this board. I'm black, so I'm always wrong.

k, move along, nothing to see here. another religious nut case. This story is AWESOME.. not that people are drawing guns but in watching where people come down on this.. Guy is a pastor (usually defended by the right) Claiming to be doing the will of God (usually defended by the right) Also black (usually defended by the left) Fighting against the government (usually defended by the right) To raise the minimum wage (usually defended by the left) One of the other things that interests me in this is that it doesn't say the guy ever got a shot off, from what I've seen only the officer fired. But an innocent bystander sustained non-life threatening injuries... it doesn't say, was she accidentally shot by the officer? Was she just hurt in a rush of people trying to flee?

How about you? I'm guessing the answer is "nothing". Other than given to charities, no. I take it you went over with the military? If so, you had to be there. I donated of my own free will. Take it however you want. I don't have the time or money to go 'over there' and help out. I personally think most of the downtrodden countries should try to mimic the American way of government and life. It's not perfect, but it did make us prosperous and safer than most every other country in the world.

Most of it has to do with Pakistan being more of a third world country. Violence of any kind is usually less expected to happen in countries that are more developed. There are some pretty heinous things going on to Christians in Nigeria and other parts of Africa, but you hardly hear about it.
