That's like saying the Browns 7-9 season in 2014 was better than the 4-12 season the previous year. Once the smoke, mirrors and bs of "hope and change" wore off it led to a 3-13 season requiring a complete blowup of the organization.

not even remotely.

No I didn't.

I've said it before already. I believe Obama did a fine job considering the losers who were determined to block everything he did before he was even sworn into office.

No president in history has been shown this much level of disrespect from not only congress, but the people on the right, in general. In my eyes, that can't even be debated.

And he still got stuff done.

I got nothing left to say about that.

So y'all can't continue crying about him being the worst president. I'll continue watching our country trending upwards, as well as breaking barriers and electing our first female president.

You republicans can remain in the past. The rest of the country is moving forward.

Tell me in your own words why Carter was considered the worst president, ever? Don't google it....tell me.

I think this has become an all too familiar rally cry by the hawks and Republicans but, I think if you TRULY look deep into his presidency and what led to his downfall you will see that these things did not happen over night, nor in the four years he was in office. It was something that happened years before and took root, unfortunately, during his tenure. Also, if you truly look deep you will see many, many things he was able to accomplish during his short time in office.

Anyway, how can one say he was "worst president, ever" when a few years before we had a President resign or be impeached? Remember that? Oh yea, he was a Republican too.

I know, I know, Obama being the worst President was Bush's Fault and Carter being the second worst President was everybody before him. rolleyes

I lived through both Presidents and experienced first hand how bad they actually were.

Carter up and fires his entire Cabinet throwing the entire Government into disarray, 20% inflation made us 20% poorer every day. We didn't have time to complain because we were stuck waiting in gas lines while the Soviets moved into Afghanistan and Carter's answer was to not light the freaking National Christmas Tree that year!

That is just off the top of my head, if I looked up more, I would Puke!

Don't know, but it seems odd that Sanders, as of now, didn't even make the ballot in DC. He/his team, had everything turned in a month ahead of time, but somehow the DNC didn't get it to DC in time. Now, that might get fixed - but as of today, Sanders won't even be on the ballot in DC.

Then, there's the arizona (Phoenix in particular, I believe) debacle, where many polling stations from prior weren't even open due to "cost cutting". Hence, people waiting in line for 4-5-6 hours. Many not being able to even vote. (and to my understanding, that affected dems AND republicans)

Sanders: 'We are going to win New York'

A little more than two weeks ahead of the primary in his home state of New York, Bernie Sanders said Friday that his campaign would win the state, which is also the adopted home of Hillary Clinton.

“We are going to win New York," the Vermont senator said.

Sanders noted the 18,000 people who attended his rally in the South Bronx on Thursday evening, calling it a "good start."

The Pundits and Hillary both think she has New York in the bag and the best Bernie will do is make it close. I look for him to win by over 10 points, maybe as much as 20.

The economy was tanking before Carter. Inflation was rising in the 60's. Nixon tried to stop it but failed. As early as 71 the economy was in a freefall. By '73 the oil crisis caused prices to skyrocket. Unemployment between 1975-1982 was between 8-10%. Carter was President between 1977-1981. Ford and Nixon and Reagan bookend his Presidency. All three are Republicans. The issue was not confined nor started by Carter in 4 years.

He helped broker a short term peace with Arabs and Israelis. He helped slow down the proliferation of nuclear weapons by both the US and USSR.

Regarding Iran...that goes back to the 50's when the US supported the Shah. 25 years later it lead to the hostages. Although there was a failed attempt to rescue them they were eventually released on Reagan's 1st day but, the release of the hostages was coordinated over many months by Carter and his Admin.

So, it is probably worth looking at all the facts before making generalized assumptions.

Actually was it not you who blamed and accused Obama and Carter for being the worst presidents ever? superconfused

I think, it works both ways, my friend. Republicans simply don't like to look beyond a certain time frame. They seem to ignore or have forgotten history so, they blame the immediate Democratic President, Governor, Senator, Mayor. Yawn. How easy is that?

Before I immediately "blame" I will try to read and learn more about history or a particular incident. Because it's far too easy to "blame". If, a Dem or a Liberal is at fault...I will happily call them out. Actually, somebody, in here, said (paraphrasing) that the "Dems are as bad as the Republicans". For the most part, I totally agree with this. However, recently, there have been so many outrageous buffoons put up by the Republicans that the gap between the two seems to be widening rather than closing.

Blaming is a fools game. Looking at the fruits of someones labors and making a decision on whether or not they were good or bad or in between is to see the truth. Was their fruit nutritious and sweet or was it sour.

I lived my life under Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II and Obama. I do not need a history book to tell me what kind of men they were.

Then what you are stating is an opinion and has no factual basis other than your own thoughts, experiences and judgements.

It's always worth seeing the "whole picture" when troubleshooting. Otherwise you will never find the bigger issue hiding within the immediate static. Looking purely at football for a minute (as this is, after all, a Browns site)...is that not what we all hope happens with the Browns?

Gallup: More Americans Identifying as Democrats

http://www.newsmax.com/US/democrats-democratic-party-gallup-republican/2016/04/01/id/721907/

More Americans are identifying themselves as Democrats or leaning toward the party over Republicans — up from a tie over three months last year, according to a new Gallup daily tracking poll.

Here are the results of the survey, released Friday, involving 15,253 adults and conducted on March 1 to 31:

Democrats or leaning Democratic: 46 percent.
Republican or leaning Republican: 40 percent.
In August through October of last year, the results were at 42 percent each.

In analyzing its findings, Gallup said that Democrats' edge "gives them strong positioning heading toward this fall's election.

"Given that Republicans tend to vote at higher rates than Democrats, a bigger advantage in basic party loyalties gives Democrats more of a cushion if their turnout fails to match or approach that of Republicans."

The Gallup tracking poll results have a margin of error of 1 percent.

I'd say younger people affiliate with the Democratic stance, it's more flexible.

Once the older generation realizes the finite resources on planet earth, change will come.

I would argue the greatest achievement in 8 years of Obama, is restoring global street credibility, the US brand took a serious hit after 8 years of GW.

Some of that had to do with breaking through walls we perceive.

I give Obama credit for avoiding world wide economic collapse and total chaos. Had the GOP worked with him even a little, we'd be better off now than we are. The party of NO continues to harm the US more than any enemy.

And there is also the reason so many of the young are Democrats and Liberals. Just as the puppy stumbles around getting into trouble he has yet to become wise and nimble.

If not for wise and Conservative parents, he would bring his entire world down with him.
