This guy has to be the dumbest person I ever heard off. He could have been a millionaire a hundred times over. No reason to cut him, we ain't paying him anyway. LOSER!!! I Pray that somebody has more patience and heart than I do. I love the kid. He is smart, has a good heart, cares about about others, and he really care about others. However he has burned his last bridge with the NFL and with me. Yo Josh you burned your bed now you have to live in it bro
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT... except when I am wrong.

I don't think Gordon is dumb. Well, he might be..........I just don't know if he is or not.
I do think he is selfish. I also feel he has a sense of entitlement. Think about all the guys on here who were defending him w/vigor when he got busted a time or two ago.
I do have a question. In the original article, it said something like he could still be reinstated. Can someone explain to me how he could be reinstated if he failed another drug test? I'm not being sarcastic. That just stuck out like a sore thumb to me.

Jalen Ramsey at 2 and at 32 a top flight WR it is Sorry but if we draft another DB in the first, I maybe completely done with the Browns. We need offense!!! sorry but no offensive player is worthy of a #2 pick...if we over reach yet again just because I am going to knee cap someone Tunsil is worth it. If the Titans pass on him I could see us drafting Tunsil. Wentz and Goff are worth it IF they turn out to be franchise QB's. If we go defense I'd MUCH rather take a pass rusher over a corner. You take a corner at two he BETTER be a hall of famer. I'm talking a Rod Woodson Deon Sanders kind of player. I'm hoping we take Wentz. I don't mind reaching a bit for a quarterback. If we don't then I'm hoping we take a left tackle or a pass rusher.

However, both samples were diluted as well and THAT constitutes a fail. Also, since he's on indefinite suspension and Goodell is under no obligation to ever reinstate him, a test showing weed use under that limit gives Goodell a reason to not reinstate him even if it isn't technically a "fail".

So the test results were below the 35 nano grams. Which would would result in a passed drug test. But the test results were diluted which results in an automatic failed test. So JG is trying to say that there is more to the story.

I just think that we need to take the best QB unless that guy is taken at 1 with somebody trading up then I take the best WR available. Like some on here are saying, Gordon's situation changes nothing as far as the draft or at least it shouldn't.

I said to cut him the last time this happened. I hate it when I'm right. I said to cut him when he got a DUI while waiting for an appeal hearing for his first year long suspension. Waiting in hopes that you can convince Goodell not to suspend you for a year and you get a DUI? That was when I started calling him meathead. You have to be dead from the neck up to get a DUI while awaiting an appeal for a suspension. Why not just piss in Goodells swimming pool while you're at it? Then he got another year on top of that.... and now after not playing any football for the better part of three years, he pisses positive yet again. In the immortal words of Bugs Bunny "What a maroon".

Josh was seen hanging out in Vegas with JFF in March and failed his pee test in March. Wanna bet that Goodell saw the guy asking back from suspension partying with a guy that they are about to suspend and decided to order a test?

I totally agree, man. This is so disappointing. I'm not shocked by this, but I was hopeful. Wasting his own talent, letting many people down, millions of dollars up in smoke. the guy is a dumbass.

Remember this? An Open Letter To Charles Barkley & Co.https://thecauldron.si.com/an-open-letter-to-charles-barkley-co-cb5c4e64cf3#.lo8t5vpk2Yes, I have a problem — but it’s not the one all of you seem to think it is. By Josh Gordon A snippet of it: What I do know is the following: I am not a drug addict; I am not an alcoholic; I am not someone who deserves to be dissected and analyzed like some tragic example of everything that can possibly go wrong for a professional athlete. And … I am not going to die on account of the troubled state you wrongly believe my life to be in. I am a human being, with feelings and emotions and scars and flaws, just like anyone else. I make mistakes — I have made a lot of mistakes — but I am a good person, and I will persevere.

I mean, he just filed for reinstatement, why would he do that, if he knew he failed a test? Manzeil, he's selfish. As far as the test, legally their is a threshold. Other than that, it's a pipedream. He's done in the league, if this is true. What's funny, is their is video of him working out all over facebook, maybe he put it out there because he knew this was coming down, and wants to look innocent. IDK. Then again, maybe this story isn't true, it is the internet. This guy is an enigma, sometimes it is as if, he really can't be real person. Just a myth.

Then again, maybe this story isn't true... That's a possibility, but based on past history, not likely. We do however, need to let the story play out before "passing judgement".

JMHO, he's flawed like the rest of us, only he HAD the opportunity to make more millions and blew it up in smoke. Wonder how well his car sales intership went, how much he can sell his "art" for.....maybe he needs to get a bobble-head shop....he always claimed he'd do the right thing and has not problems.....right, checks in the mail....don't cut him, when he's 28 he'll still owe us a year on his rookie contract.....GO Browns!!!!

Josh is a loser, and some people questioned me and gave me grief because I said trade him.
By the looks of it, he'll never get reinstated for us to shop him anyway. He's a moron.

So you're saying manziel and Gordon being roomies is a bad idea.... Well, it WAS a bad idea. But now, seeing as neither of them will probably play in the nfl in the foreseeable future, maybe it's a good way for them to save some money.

Not excusing his actions because Gordon knows the rule well by now, but it's SO SAD that the NFL allows players to beat up their bodies for profit but not use a proven pain reliever.
Again, this doesn't apply to Gordon, he obviously just likes to party, but in general weed should not be tested for in the NFL.

it will be interesting to see what happens... he was still technically in the "legal limit" of the NFL.

....How exactly do these tests work? If he drinks lots of water how would it not be diluted? I'm assuming the test was monitored so its not like he added water after the fact. I still think it's stupid that they even test him in the first place. He's not harming anyone, and he doesn't get any performance benefit. The NFL provides the players with way worse drugs (Vicodin, Toradol, etc.) and collect a ridiculous amount of money from advertisements for alcohol, but they take a moral stand on this? Link- Painkillers in the NFL I don't smoke and rarely drink, but then I don't have a job that involves crazy collisions. I don't see how weed is any worse than the drugs they do give for pain. It is stupid on Josh's part that it was in his system, but he could have been at a concert, walked through a room in a club, there are any number of ways he could have got it in his system under that threshold.

The enabling has begun.
People who are trying to pass drug tests drink a bunch of fluids before the test hoping it dilutes the test enough where the substance they are being tested for is not detectable.

Or they have trouble peeing in front of an audience. I don't think the water actually has time to go through their system though, unless they are notified a rather long time in advance. Or the guy is just an athlete and drinks a lot of water. You don't keep in that shape without working out. You work out, you sweat. You sweat, you drink water/liquid. It'd be great if the NFL stuck to things that actually affected the game, and left the law to the legal system. Greg Hardy could play, Ray Rice could play, Donte Stallworth could play....Josh Gordon can't play? That really makes sense to you? excerpt-painkillers-abuse-nfl-king-sports-gregg-easterbrook Hypocrisy irks me. Josh's case especially bugs me when all other players (not in the program) have advanced warning of their testing windows. And can effectively smoke during the season with impunity.

J/C ..... what starts with "m",and rhymes with "oron"? Man, this kid is paid millions to play football .... and all he has to do is refrain from smoking pot, and now drinking, for however long his career lasts ....... and that's just too much to expect of him. The true story, Josh, is that if you are unable to refrain from smoking pot and drinking, with millions, not to mention a career most would envy, on the line, then you have a problem. That is the "story". Man, I think of all of the kids who bust their butts, sacrifice everything, and do all the right things the right way, but who just don't have enough talent to make the NFL .... and wonder why so much talent was wasted on a guy who just doesn't care.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

In the locker they should hang pictures of Manziel and Gordon to remind everyone what the wrong path leads to. You take football for granted and you end up like these 2 jackasses.

I don't think we can draft a quarterback now. You can't toss a kid into this situation. It's scorch earth on the offensive side. This changes nothing. Anything we got from Gordon was gravy. I love Goff, but this team is scorched earth.

I find it ironic that both times reports like this have come out, it's been around draft time, and someone leaked the results.. Even though they are supposed to be confidential..
Doesn't really mean anything, just seems weird..
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
