Alright, well me and my cousin will be sitting about 20 rows up behind home plate watching the Tribe take on the Tigers on Saturday. We're pretty pumped about it and completely forgot about the Cavs game on Saturday when we got the tickets just a few nights ago.
I can't imagine how packed the city is going to be on Saturday, but I can't wait to be a part of the atmosphere. We're gonna stick around after the game in hopes of joining in on the party after a Game 6 series ending win.
My question is... Are the garages likely to be full when we get in Cleveland on Saturday. We are gonna get there as soon as the gates open at the Jake and possibly even sooner. So will parking be available near the stadium or will we have to venture down E.9th and other streets?
Also where is Panini's located? My cousin really wants to eat there before the game if we get there early enough.
And finally, this may be a very stupid question, but after the game at the Jake is there anyway to get into the Q to watch the end the Cavs game?
Any info will be appreciated.

panini's is like a block away from the stadium...
i think it's carnegie or prospect...
it's north of the stadium...
i would definitely get down there early...
we usually park at the halle building which is right near panini's...
get down there 3 hours early, get some food, have a few drinks...
that should be one wild night

Indians game starts before the Cavs game, you'll be fine.
I'd say, get downtown between 4-4:30pm. There's a garage in-between Prospect & Euclid, typically only $6-8 bucks, and a relatively short walk.
In any event, make your way to E. 9th St. Panini's is on Prospect and E. 9th. The Clevelander is right next door, both have outdoor patio's if the weather holds up. Get either a bottle or 24oz. can at that Panini's, the tap system has sucked there for years.

The other place that I'd recommend parking is in the theatre district. There is a park that is a block away from the Jake, behind the cemetary and across from the Hanna Theatre that is $4. Its a straight shot to the stadium and an easy out. Parking shouldn't be an issue if you get there early. But do get there early. It is a bobblehead giveaway, and those things always pack up a bit, let alone with a Cavs game as well.
Panini's is just a block up from the Jake. However, I'd tell you that if you actually want to sit down at Panini's you need to get there early, very early. It'll be packed with the crowds of both stadiums beforehand. Its a great environment, but you need to be in there by 5, 5:30 at the absolute latest if you hope to be able to sit down for any time at all.

i prefer the lizard over panini's...
better food... although panini's is ideal if you don't have a ton of time, because they're much quicker with the food...

Maybe more options...but I'll take a Panini sandwich over any overpriced Lizard sandwich any day of the week. Also cheaper on the drink.

Thanks for all the responses. Can't wait to be there. It'll be one of only many 2 - 2 1/2 hour drives to Clevland that I make this year. Coming to about 5 more Indians games, a Mayer concert, training camp at Berea, and hopefully 2 Browns games.

i suggest you get off one exit before 9th street on 77. i think its 13th street. follow that until you pass the cemetary, turn left and find a spot in one of those lots.
i suggest you eat at Wilberts, its just to the left of the thirsty parrot.
and tip well to my friend bridget, the hot redhead who serves there.

I'll certainly give you that. Cannot go wrong with Lizard wings.
Another decent food option is Cleats. Get the "garbage burger" - loaded with all sorts of stuff to clog your arteries, about 4" thick.

I'd go the other direction and get off at E. 22nd. A lot less traffic, easy parking and an easy out. I'm consistently amazed at how few people park on that side of the stadium...

I agree E.22 is the way I go too. I always walk along the cemetery and park over there. I am going Sunday and am really looking forward to it b/c the kid gets to run the bases. The kid and of course me I have never been on the field before so I am jacked up to do that hehe
