Because it's completely unrealistic. It's a fantasy.

Like a cheese truck overturning on the freeway and it would be a good idea not to eat the cheese. I don't think they are as dialed in as Adam Schefter, but it's a lot more interesting than the threads in pure football right now.

My brother just posted this on Facebook. Holy crap, that's one helluva deal if it gets pulled off for real.
I might actually start to believe this FO has a chance.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

The trade makes sense on all sides.
Buffalo has been entertaining QB's Wentz and Goff more than other teams. Have been at odds with Taylor and his agent.
Broncos: Taylor played for Kubiak when he was with the Ravens. They are running out of QB options. Recently inquired about Tyrod Taylor.
Browns: could use the bounty of draft picks.

That's an awful long way to drop without a future first. Especially when the 1st from Denver is basically a 2nd rounder.
Unless the player is Von Miller, I'm not really feeling it.

Ken Carman put it best... @KenCarman Guys on this website that get paid to cover football believing Tyrod Taylor for a first rounder AND a player.

I would too. It's a no brainer and too good to be true. I don't believe it's true.
We would never get that lucky.
Wait.....someone wouldn't want to make that trade? Who the hell would that be?

At 19 we wouldn't be getting the top 3 QBs most likely, Ramsey, Bosa, Buckner, Jack, Hargreaves, Robinson, Treadwell, or Elliot.
Who do you like at 19?
If Buffalo is moving up for a potential franchise QB, I want the equivalent of the RGIII deal. I think we could get more if they're willing to give that much already. Bump Buffalo's 2nd rounder to a future first and I'm down.
If I thought the 3 players would fall where you mocked them Deputy, I'd take the deal. I don't think they will, though.
I think we'd have to take Doctson at 19 to get him and that Robinson and Lynch will be gone at that point.

If you look at my mock above I mocked Robinson to us at 19, Doctson at 31 and Lynch at 32. If Robinson is not there, then someone else falls between Mackensie Alexander, Jarran Reed, Sheldon Rankins, Shaq Lawson, Ryan Kelly, Darron Lee, and Reggie Ragland. I would take any of the above.

I had one draft on that site where I kept trading down, and wound up with 45 picks. I drafted all A+ to B- players, according to their grades ...... and wound up with a D. lol

All in all, I like this draft. Can't get behind the Oakman pick. despite the talent value I can't support drafting him with the off-field issues from a personal point of view but also from an organizational standpoint. After Gordon then the manziel ordeal, I just don't think drafting a player with Oakman's baggage is worth it. No matter how physically talented he might be
Am I perfect? No Am I trying to be a better person? Also no

NFL Draft 2016: Myles Jack, four other projected 1st round picks to undergo medical re-evaluationsUCLA linebacker Myles Jack was among five projected first-round picks in this month's NFL Draft to be asked to return to Indianapolis this week for a medical re-check, according to NFLDraftScout.com's Rob Rang. Jack sat out the positional drills and agility tests at the NFL Combine in February while continuing his rehab from knee surgery, and was one of several top prospects that NFL teams want to have the most current medical information on. The 2016 NFL Draft is full of "damaged goods." Even Mississippi left tackle Laremy Tunsil, the popular projected No. 1 overall pick, had a playing career marred by injuries. As noted by The Sports Xchange publisher Frank Cooney, Tunsil missed several games over his career for a variety of injuries, including a sprained knee, torn right biceps, fractured right fibula and dislocated ankle. So, who was invited back to Indianapolis this year? In the cloak and dagger world of the NFL Draft, teams are especially hesitant to give away medical secrets, but NFLDraftScout.com reported that five popular projected first-round picks are among the estimated "35 or so" players who have been asked to return this Indianapolis this week for medical re-evaluations. Those players include Jack (knee), Clemson edge rusher Shaq Lawson (shoulder), Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman (sports hernia), Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith (knee) and Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller (knee), each of whom have been or remain among the prospects atop NFLDraftScout.com's rankings. Lawson is the lone player among these top prospects to have not undergone surgery. According to a report from Albert Breer of NFL.com, however, he wore a brace throughout last season and briefly was sidelined Nov. 7 against Florida State after "tweaking" the injury. The shoulder was "flagged" by some teams at the combine, prompting the return trip for the highly regarded edge rusher. Among other highly regarded NFL prospects expected to attend this week's re-check include Utah running back Devontae Booker (knee), TCU wide receiver Kolby Listenbee (sports hernia), Western Kentucky tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) and Florida linebacker Antonio Morrison (knee), NFL sources told NFLDraftScout.com. The return to Indianapolis could be especially bad news for Higbee, who already is fighting a serious knock to his reputation after being arrested Sunday morning on charges of second-degree assault, alcohol intoxication in a public place and second-degree fleeing or evading police following a fight outside of a Bowling Green bar. If teams receive positive reports regarding these players, their projected draft stock may not change at all. A poor grade, however, could have a major impact on where prospects are ultimately drafted. Last year provided a perfect example of both situations. NFL teams were satisfied with the recovery from torn ACLs by former Georgia running back Todd Gurley (the then-St. Louis Rams) and Texas A&M offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi (Cincinnati Bengals), and both players wound up being selected in the first round despite missing most of their final seasons in college football due to the injuries. The news wasn't so good for former Pittsburgh offensive tackle T.J. Clemmings, a one-time projected first-round pick who fell to the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round (No. 110 overall) in part due to medical concerns. The combine rechecks take place April 14-15. --NFLDraftScout.com is a property of The Sports Xchange, distributed in partnership with CBSSports.com. Analysis from Rob Rang contributed to this report. http://www.upi.com/Sports_News/NFL/2016/.../7701460585449/

ESPN's Stephania Bell just said that Myles Jack's recheck went well. "No one had any concerns."

Random thought as it relates to trades..
I feel like with the "analytics" running the show..
The chances of us ever trading up have gone down drastically..
If you are basing everything on "value" and what not, the chances of you get "value" in return on a trade up are usually not very high..
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

I agree. If we go O in the first, then we almost have to go D in the 2nd. Depending on who's there.

I agree. If we go O in the first, then we almost have to go D in the 2nd. Depending on who's there. I don't think I agree with that. If we go QB in the 1st, and then come to the 2nd round with a choice between the 4th or 5th best CB and the 2nd best WR, then I think you have to take the WR. Your big board should dictate your pick, if the need exists at both positions, IMO.

Well, I did say depending on who's there It wouldn't have to be the 5th or 6th best CB, what if it was the 2nd or 3rd best DE or LB?

I guess my philosophy of drafting is a combination of BPA and greatest need. BPA rules in cases of equal need. In the Browns' case, I think we have a desperate need for playmakers at WR. That doesn't mean we don't need help elsewhere, but IMO our greatest need, after QB, is WR.

Trade: Rd 1 pick 2 to MIA (Ramsey) Receive: 2016 Rd 1 pick 13 2016 Rd 2 Pick 11 2016 Rd 4 Pick 9 2017 1st Round Pick Rd.1 Pk.13 Josh Doctson, WR, TCU Rd.2 Pk.1 Noah Spence, OLB, EKU Rd.2 Pk.11 Andrew Billings, NT, Baylor Rd.3 Pk.2 Braxton Miller, WR, Ohio State Rd.4 Pk.1 Rashard Robinson, CB, LSU Rd.4 Pk.9 Kevin Byard, S, Middle Tennessee Rd.4 Pk.40 Darius Jackson, RB, EMU Rd.5 Pk.2 David Morgan, TE, UTSA Rd.5 Pk.33 Kalan Reed, CB, Southern Miss Rd.5 Pk.34 Fahn Cooper, OT, Ole Miss Rd.6 Pk.1 Matt Skura, C, Duke Rd.7 Pk.2 Curt Maggitt, OLB, Tennessee 2017 Rd. 1 Pick (MIA) Don't love the Robinson pick, I'd take Sean Davis if he's there, but think he'll go sooner. Trade might be a stretch, but CB is the biggest hole on Miami's roster. Vance Joseph likes bigger corners. "My philosophy," Joseph said regarding the 4-3 defensive scheme he'll run, "is its built with rushers and corners. If you can rush the passer and cover outside, it helps the schematics during game weeks.
"Rushing and covering is the bottom line of playing great defense in the NFL. If you can rush and cover, that's the key."

Grimm: I'd be tempted to take the kicker Aquayo (sic ?) at Rd 3, #1 (#2?), instead of Miller. Does not Pryor serve similarly to Miller?

I love Aguayo, but drafting a kikcer would be a tough pill to swallow with all the needs we have.
