Hey. I haven't posted much, just love looking around and putting my two cents in occasionally. This seems to be a board with a genuine sense of family. That's why I am hoping that I can ask those of you who live in the Cleveland area to help my boss and I out.

We recently opened a brewpub called The BrewKeeper in North Ridgeville and it's been a ghost town for the first few weeks. I don't want to come off as trying to commercialize this website, and I'll understand if this thread gets deleted. I just want to ask if there's any of you out there that like good beers, locally made and otherwise, along with a food menu that is well-priced if they'd swing by and give us a try. We'd truly appreciate any patronage and we are a family friendly establishment.

As I said, it took a small amount of struggling with my self-respect before posting this, but I feel that this board is a community of sorts, and we like to help each other out. Our new location is at 34445 Center Ridge Rd in North Ridgeville. We'd been located in Bedford, but the building was sold and we had no choice but to move the business entirely. Thanks in advance for any support we recieve, it truly does mean a lot to me personally.

Thank you guys! We're not anything fancy, just a friendly neighborhood brewpub. Good food, though, if I do say so myself, and a pretty eclectic selection of beer. I'm the bar manager, so if you make it in, ask for me! I'd love to meet some fellow Dawg Talkers!!

Brewkeeper -

My girlfriends mom lives out that way, and we're always looking for a place to eat out there - where are you located in Ridgeville? - Specifically?

When I'm back in Westlake, I'll make a stop out there.

LOL @ DL!

Wofley...if I find myself out that way (I'm an Akronite), I'll be sure to stop in for a brew and food!

When I come up for games, I now almost always stay out in Westlake as I prefer the area and restaurants to downtown.

I will drive out and check it out.

Is it a stand alone or in a strip?? north side of the road or south side....I won't remember the address...but that info will stick.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Once again guys, thanks for the support! It's a stand alone building on the south side of the road, kind of set back from a large parking lot. There is a road sign as well as a sign on the top of the building. You can get driving directions from anywhere on our website, www.brewkeeper.com. Hope to see some of you, but unfortunately, I cannot give out free beer at the restaurant... but tailgating is a whole other story!!

I'd love to get some good cleveland (ok N royalton) beer!!) Good luck..the world can never have to many good beers!

Wolf,

I'll be over in that area shortly, is that where a sandwich shop once was?? Right across the street from C. Mulligans?

Not exactly ascross the street, more like right behind C Mulligan's. The place you are referring to is being gutted out right now. Where we are used to be a bowling alley and a party center.

I'm not too sure as to any alaskan brews, but I try to stock as many hard to find beers as possible. given our current situation in regards to money, I've been really hamstrung on the budget, but I still try to get what I can.

An Idea I've had is to have a bean bag toss tournament on Saturdays and a Cleveland Microbrewery festival in the fall. What do you all think? Any input is appreciated!!!

Unfortunately I'm not near that area. Sorry

I do like to try new places for food and drinks as well as different beers when I get the chance. Too bad it wasn't any closer. Good luck with the business. I hope it picks up. Word of mouth is the best thing for it. If people come in and enjoy it, it'll get around.

Just a quick update. We're running specials during the Finals where you can get house drafts for special prices correlating to the score of the game. Also, we have dollar dog days for the Tribe games and if Hafner hits a home run, our house drafts are 50% off. We're having a cornhole tournament every Saturday starting June 23rd, and for Fathers Day, all brew sessions are reduced and BOGO burgers, too. I don't know if I mentioned it before, but you can brew your own beer here. Kind of the same thing as the Brewkettle in Strongsville.

Do you know what brewery makes it? We may not be able to get it here in Ohio. Distribution rules and all that. Kinda sucks...
