In all honesty it looks like I will still be excited for games until Week 6 or so

I'm seeing, still, a three or four win tops season ahead. We have an opportunity to come out and start fast, but I don't think our roster will allow for that.

Even on the worst of teams I can usually pick out 2-3 games where I say "yeah, that should be a win" ... even if that doesn't always come true

however, this year I see ZERO games. That's not saying we will go 0-16, but I'll be shocked if we win more than 3

games we have a CHANCE: Baltimore, San Diego, NY Jets, at Tennessee

that's about it IMO

the other thing that is annoying is we have 5 away games out of 7 to start the year

if we had a contending team I'd be thrilled with that ... get them out of the way and have a huge run of important games at home

however, we will most likely be 1-6 (or worse) before our home stand begins ... blah

As a season ticket holder driving from Columbus I am VERY, VERY, VERY happy with all 1pm games! I do like a single 4pm game where we can do our "marathon" tailgate, but I am getting a little old to start drinking and 8am and making it into the game still, lol.

Throw in a random turnover fest and we are looking at 3 wins. Barring a complete RG III or rookie QB breakout season..... If Hue gets this team to 5 wins he deserves a metal.

This team going 0-16 is like 3 or 4 injuries away. I am not even trying to be hard on them, it's a reality, this is the least talented team I have ever seen at the NFL level.

i was hoping we would atleast get a sunday night or monday night game though guys.

which means the only reason we got nationally televised games last year was because of manziel.

man this sucks.

I am glad we did not. No reason to get embarrassed more than we already are embarrassing on a national broadcast. This team it going to STINK.

That was obvious last year. Just think about how many time JFF got on TV for leaving a butt impression on the bench.

I wish all our games were Sunday at 1. I have a routine with my dad. I pick him up at 1 pm, we grab pizza and wings to go and head to my house where we watch the 1st half on tape delay. We typically catch up to the live game around halftime.

When we have a Thursday/Sunday/Monday night game it really messes things up. 4 pm games mess things up also. Too early for dinner, too late to wait to eat lunch.

"BYE" means we surrender, wave like good sports, and leave the rest of the season to teams playing fore something.

Tough schedule and late bye.

Hopefully we will be talking about the Cavs winning it if the season matches your prediction.

Beats telling fans after a loss how well we practiced, uniform choice, and how it is too early to panic. That date, incidentally is officially about three weeks away.

Until then, remain calm and complain on! Another QB thread is just around the corner here.

I'm sitting at work daydreaming on a Friday and my mind wanders to the Browns.

It's very depressing to realize that we are the team FURTHEST away from the Super Bowl. Like we don't even have a chance ... not even in the near future ... to reach the pinnacle. Every other team at least has some sort of hope.

We're dreaming of days when we can refer to the Titans/Chargers/Jets as "games we should win" ... yes

Dawg4Life...I appreciate your honesty, telling it like it is. The truth is, everything the Browns have done so far in the off season pushed the franchise further away from reaching the pinnacle.

If the Browns are only going to win 4 or 5 games tops...they need to tank the season to insure themselves of the #1 pick.

If the franchise goal is gain picks..do the damn job right and make sure we have the #1 pick in 2017.

Eagles are a crapshoot, both with the changing of the guard and it being so early in the season. Dolphins, I think, is winnable. Titans is a winnable game.

Other than maybe the Chargers, we're looking at a pretty rough schedule.

I don't understand how I could do predictions at this point.

For me, I look at a different C, a different RT and the loss of a starting WR, and the addition of a veteran QB. On defense we'll have a different FS, a different MLB, as different SS, and possibly without a starting CB initially.

We will also have a different offensive and defensive philosophy along with a new coaching staff top to bottom.

We have a few signed FA I know nothing about and an upcoming draft from which I have no idea who we will draft.

The last time I saw this team play was never so how could I possibly predict how well they'll do vs the competition?

I can't.

So I won't.

lmao

My point was that given the current status of this roster. Only a miracle worker could get this team to 5-11. If they win 5 games or more, barring some CRAZY RGIII or rookie QB season, I will bow at the alter of Hue Jackson.

This team is horrendous as it currently stands.

Got ya....looks like a decent schedule as far as the games I want and the spread between those games.

As it stands now, I will go to the Ravens,Pats,Jets,Cowboys,Steelers and Bengals games.

The only back to back weeks is the Jets/Cowboys. Not bad.

I will also attend the game in Nashville.

I've never attended a game when the browns have won ... I'm something like 0-14

And only one of those games was close
