If that bothers you, it's probably best to stay out of the Manziel thread altogether.

Johnny Manziel may never make it back to the NFL, but he has made it to Page Six.

Emily Smith of the New York Post reports at the tabloid’s notorious celebrity rumor destination that Manziel rented a house in L.A. last week, and that Manziel “and his group” allegedly “left the house strewn with booze and drugs, broke an expensive glass table and a bathroom door, and left wine stains and cigarette burns on carpets.”

Real estate broker Nicholas Goodwin has demanded $32,000 from Manziel for damages inflicted on the $4.5 million house.

“They were supposed to check out at noon. Manziel was passed out,” Goodwin told Page Six. “There was cocaine all over the kitchen table, and mushrooms were still out on the table in front of him. There was booze everywhere . . . broken glasses over the floor and a champagne glass in a tree. If they don’t respond to our demand for compensation, we will sue.”

A demand letter already has been sent by Goodwin’s lawyer to Manziel’s representatives, and images of the house obtained by Page Six “show lines of suspicious white powder on a table, and an opened bag of what is claimed to be magic mushrooms.”

Agent Drew Rosenhaus recently told SiriusXM NFL Radio that Manziel has left L.A. and returned to Texas. Rosenhaus has commenced the process of firing Manziel as a client, in the hopes that Manziel will take steps to turn his life around.

Call it a case of affluenza. Rich-kid quarterback Johnny Manziel’s facing more questions about alcohol and drug use after he threw a wild party at a rented LA house, where he and his friends allegedly caused $32,000 in damage.

Manziel, who comes from a Texas oil family and whose NFL future is in peril, rented a house in West Hollywood for two days last week with a pal. The pair’s said to have thrown two all-night ragers that prompted neighbors, including comic Kathy Griffin, to call police.

It’s claimed Manziel and his group left the house strewn with booze and drugs, broke an expensive glass table and a bathroom door, and left wine stains and cigarette burns on carpets. Pictures obtained by Page Six show lines of suspicious white powder on a table, and an open bag of what is claimed to be magic mushrooms.

Former Browns QB Manziel — who last year went to rehab, but whose agent Drew Rosenhaus is dropping him in “hopes of helping him get the treatment I believe he needs” — has been served with a legal demand for nearly $32,000 for damage caused to the $4.5 million pad. It was rented to Manziel by real estate broker Nicholas Goodwin, whose company LA Exotic Life rents vacation properties.

Goodwin’s lawyer, Niki Ghazian, wrote Manziel’s reps: “Mr. Manziel threw large parties on both nights, causing extensive damage . . . Evidence suggests [Manziel] and his guests were consuming drugs and alcohol . . . and that they caused a disturbance to the neighborhood,” which led to the LAPD being called on April 6.

Goodwin tells Page Six he returned to the house to find it trashed and Manziel crashed on the sofa at 2 p.m. He said, “They were supposed to check out at noon. Manziel was passed out . . . There was cocaine all over the kitchen table, and mushrooms were still out on the table in front of him. There was booze everywhere . . . broken glasses over the floor and a Champagne glass in a tree.” He added, “If they don’t respond to our demand for compensation, we will sue.” Manziel, his lawyers, and Rosenhaus didn’t get back to us.

A look at the damages from Manziel and his pals:

To be fair, it doesn't look too horribly trashed to me, but Goodell is probably going to take interest in 4th picture if JFF ever does find another sucker of a team.

If Josh Gordon was with him, Josh is screwed.

Dude, it's not a trailer, it's a 4.5 million dollar house. It's trashed. Mushrooms and coke on the table, mean to tell me Noone bothered throwing the crap away before leaving?

Manziel seems just as idiotic as the "group" that hangs with him.

They hadn't left yet. One guys shoes and coat are still there in the second picture.

Ah that makes sense. Noone set their alarm, or was still buzzing too much to care.

My friend made a statement today and I agree. Best thing to happen to Johnny boy is he gets indicted and serves jail time for hitting his girl. No parties and limited access to drugs and alcohol. Plenty of time to reflect on the high level of jackass he's being.

I hope the realtor sues him for the damages caused. 32k in damages is chump change to Johnny boy, but another court ordeal for him to hopefully realize the path he's on.

Man, I fear that we will soon see some truly horrific headline(s) regarding this kid unless he gets some help NOW. He appears to be spiraling downward, faster and faster ... and that's a hard cycle to escape, the further down it goes.

I pray this kid gets the help he needs. I hate to see anyone, especially a young person, blow up his entire life, and quite possibly throw that life away.

You CAN make this stuff up... The Eagles did in 1977 with Hotel California.

JM and drug abuse go hand in hand, he'll never play another down. As another poster said, he'll die before he runs out of money. "He can check out any time he wants - but he can't ever leave." Sad.

The realtor said a man saying he was Josh "Meathead" Gordon answered the door, Johnny was crashed on the couch and there were drugs everywhere.

Not such a big thing now that we see meathead has been partying with Johnny boy at Coachella. lmao

We should definately keep meathead. Football means SO much to him. *snicker*

If he continues to hang out with Rosenhaus' ex-client — first one he's ever terminated in 27 years— Gordon will be hard-pressed to be re-instated.

I have several sports apps on my phone, get updates on stories from a couple of them.... I used to like Bleacher Report but I get updates and 3 out of every 5 Bleacher Report updates, related to the Browns, is a Manziel story.

Guys, he doesn't play here any more, he's not on the roster, he's been released. If you want to post articles about him, I DON'T CARE, just stop doing under the Browns banner because you are clogging up my phone.. HE'S GONE!!!!!!

I know it's not the best pic, but does anyone else feel like he lost weight? Looking even more skinny than before.

I know cocaine can aide in that. Probably drinking his meals doesn't help either. Maybe it's just me.

Grand jury indicts Johnny Manziel on misdemeanor assault charge

DALLAS (KRLD-AM) – Sources in the Dallas County District Attorney’s office tell L.P. Phillips of KRLD-AM, Johnny Manziel has been indicted by a Dallas County Grand Jury on a misdemeanor assault with bodily injury charge.

The grand jury reviewed evidence in the assault case against former NFL quarterback Manziel, Thursday, April 21.

The 23-year-old quarterback is accused of hitting his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley several times while driving from an uptown Dallas bar back to her home in Fort Worth.

According to police records, Crowley tried to jump out of the moving car and get to safety, but Manziel stopped, dragged her back into the car and hit her.

Crowley told the valet at Hotel Zaza, “Please don’t let him take me,” according to her police report, “I’m scared for my life!”

Instead of arresting Manziel, officials with the Dallas Police Department decided to present evidence to the grand jury to decide if they should pursue a misdemeanor case.

Sources also said there was an out-of-court civil settlement between Manziel and Crowley over the issue. But at this time there isn’t any indication what the settlement may be.

A judge granted Crowley a protective order after January’s multi-city altercation. Manziel has to stay away from Crowley until at least Feb. 3, 2018, including at least 500 feet away from her Fort Worth apartment, according to the order. He also has to pay $12,500 in attorney’s feesand can’t possess a firearm while the order is in effect.

Manziel was cut by the Browns in March after two tumultuous seasons marked by inconsistent play and off-the-field headlines about his partying and drinking.

On Tuesday, Manziel was fired by his second agent in three months, Drew Rosenhaus. Manziel was fired by his first agent, Erik Burkhardt, back in February.

A second sponsor, Panini, joined Nike in dropping Manziel last week.

CBS11’s J.D. Miles reached out to Manziel’s attorney Sunday night. He says he expects Manziel to be indicted.

not good for Johnny

From what I gather, he could spend a year in jail at the least. This may be the best thing for him in a sad way.

Maybe he'll sober up in jail and come to his senses.

Fun time is starting to get real for "Jonathan", and I agree 100% with blue, some jail time is, sadly, probably the best thing that can happen for that troubled kid.

Not many parties, binges and cocaine filled adventures to go on behind bars. He can reflect on how big of a hypocrite he is, the opportunity he's pissing away and most importantly... never, ever put your hand on a female. This loser needs jail imo.

While I agree that this punk needs to go to jail...I'm sure Daddy and his money will take care of everything. Unfortunately...the punk will learn his lesson the hard way...and I don't even want to speculate what that will be. Scary stuff.

'Johnny Manziel, ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley reportedly reached settlement'

Johnny Manziel was indicted on Sunday by a grand jury in Dallas on a misdemeanor assault charge, but the woman who accused him of assaulting her will apparently not be filing a lawsuit or pressing charges.

CBS Dallas-Fort Worth reports that Manziel and his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley reached an out-of court settlement, though the exact terms are unknown. A judge also granted a protective order after the Jan. 30 incident requiring Manziel to stay at least 500 feet away from Crowley — including her apartment — at all times until at least Feb. 3, 2018.

Manziel has been indicted for misdemeanor assault with bodily injury. He and Crowley got into it during a car ride in January, and Crowley claimed Manziel hit her so hard he ruptured he ear drum.

The NFL could punish Manziel under its domestic violence policy, even if he winds up not being charged. Even the fact that he settled could influence the league to take disciplinary action. One thing that could work in Manziel’s favor is that there is reportedly a video that shows Crowley attacked him.

Up to now it's been a pretty effective way of getting out of it.
