...however, in the best interest of the party... And that my friends, is what sickens me about American politics. Couldn't agree more. But, it is what it is. You and I alone can't change it. But, if people really wanted it to change there could, and would be, a mass movement to do it. I have been saying to friends for years that the US needs a viable third party to truly shake things up. If there were a viable 3rd party option or if I truly hated a candidate in one of the two main parties whose values I most commonly identify with then I would definitely vote Independent.

Whether or not you believe it, they are polling Bernie supporters as they exit the polls. Megan even said she was surprised at the support for Trump from them. She also said that Trump is winning over Blue Collar workers. The number one concern out there by a wide margin is the Economy and Jobs.

Yeah...pro gun control....libertarian is probably not a fit for you. There are left leaning libertarians, and I have no idea what they represent, but gun control is probably not it. As we want a hands off govt.

Trump will be speaking soon so we will see if he has toned it down a bit.
Perhaps he will be all kissy face.
Hillary is going to speak now.

You can say that about all of them. Well, maybe not Trump as he usually throws some random off the cuff tangent into his canned speeches. They don't account to anything more than obnoxious fodder though like...how somebody looks or how they eat...yadda, yadda, yadda.... But, to be honest, Bernie said the same thing over and over too.

Yeah Bernie was way worse about it than Hiliary. He had like 5 points he said over and over. Hiliary is more well rounded, but it's still the same crap she said last week. With some tweaks.
And I agree, Trump has no canned speeches. He never has. He just speaks whats on his mind. Which is bad sometimes bad he gets sidetracked into talking about his competitors instead of the issues. So it works against him a lot. But I respect the no cannned speeches thing.

Ha! Hillary had a beautiful sound system, perfect lighting and they show all the people in the room while Trump has a bad mic, terrible lighting, they show 5 people around him and when reporters ask questions you can't hear them.
Half of Trumps speech was unheard.

I think he was in the middle. He did not give off a presidential air but he wasnt lighting fires either. I thought his speech was alright. His speech style is to wander around eratically. So I guess you either love it or hate it.

If I ever get a chance I will lay down a stomping on Kasich ten times greater than that. He is a cheap imitation of a human being. He makes Hillary look like a Saint. I thought I was the only one who felt similarly. That man has been behind the suffering of a good many friends of mine. It's too bad the national press never spent much time dissecting Kasich's record as Governor. Of the governors who ran this season, his was the least known. Christie and Bush are well-documented from their higher profiles, but Kasich is an unknown to the lion's share of American voters. When they talk about him, the only thing they can say is: "He seems like the most electable candidate on stage" or "he's the only adult in the room." To them, he seems a reasonable choice. In other words: they're ok with him because they don't know him.You and I have seen him up-close for a number of years... and here's what I think of him: The 'good' he's done for this state didn't positively affect my daily life in any tangible way, but the 'bad' he's done has damaged a helluvalotta things/people that are truly important to me. I am not a fan. Not at all.

I find that talking off of the top of his head makes me think he is more honest in his answers than any other candidate. I can't remember seeing him stopping short, thinking I better not say something, and then soft shoeing his way through it.
I have seen him thinking while he is answering, developing his thoughts and even changing what he is saying, all in one sentence. He never seems to give a pat, PC answer just to cover himself, mostly he just lets fly.
Like you said, you like his style or you don't.

The only thing I know about the new campaign chief is that he really delivered for Trump tonight. Just look at the Counties Trump took in Pa, and all their Delegates!
This is why he was brought in.

So, I must be missing something here. Trumps name, it would appear, only is in the headline because his campaign aide may have done some "investing" in a russian company in the Cayman Islands.
A campaign aide that even the article says Trump has had some questions about.
Was this intended to be derogatory towards trump?
Or, what did I miss in the article?

So you think Hiliary is so much better? With her pre written canned speech that she reads off a teleprompter every week? Bernie was the same.
There is nothing authentic about either of those two.

And just look at the support he is getting from Russia and Putin. He really delivered. <he says sarcastically> No idea what to make of this article. Yahoo is hardly trusted source. I still don't like him though (Trump, that is).

There is nothing authentic about either of those two. They are all flawed. It comes down to me REALLY hating Trump and Cruz. Kasich is a non-entity. He will never get it. I can't believe they would give it to him even if it were contested. They guy has like 150 delegates. Nobody voted for him Hillary and Bernie are flawed too. But, I don't hate either of them. But, as I have said many, many times in here...having lived abroad for 14 years I truly believe we need somebody who understands not just the US but, the world beyond our borders. Clinton is the most qualified of all of them. I have had many deep internal conversations with myself as Sanders really does speak to my heart. He says many, many things that I 100% agree with. But, Clinton speaks to my head and I think we need somebody who immediately walks in and truly understands the scope of US President and the immediate players in the world. She reminds me a bit of an American Angela Merkel. She is an iron lady. Spine of steel and thick skin. I just hope the Dems win the Senate or else we will continue to have Reps being obstructive.

At this point I just do not understand how anyone could vote for Clinton. She is a vote for an establishment candidate and to keep the status quo the way things are. Does anyone really want that? Everything with her is scripted and canned, it just speaks to dishonesty. Why is she afraid to not be scripted? I think those who want to vote for her don't see a problem with the country as it is now, are okay with it, and the current policies\economic spending, or unfortunately want them expanded even further left leaning.

I would expect nothing different from you. Why? You don't even know me. As much as I may have disagreed with you in this or other threads I don't believe I have ever said anything personal against you. But hey, this is exactly why I don't like Trump. He too resorts to personal, vindictive attacks. Keeping it classy.

At this point I just do not understand how anyone could vote for Clinton. Well, I ask myself the same thing when it comes to Trump or Cruz. Not that they are "establishment" but, more why would anyone want either of these two anywhere near the White House? Can you imagine Trump meeting with International Heads of State? He doesn't have a clue. While Cruz seems to have forgotten there is a separation of church and state and he constantly spouts on about religion and "god". So, who is worthy? Sanders is mathematically done so he now needs to bid farewell. Kasich is just hanging on for the hope of a nomination if it becomes contested. Nothing productive about that either. Once again this is why we need a viable 3rd party to seriously shake the establishment up.

If Trump wins the Republican nomination, I will be forced to vote for *gag* Clinton. *puke* *gag* *vomit* You cannot imagine how repugnant that idea is for me, but I truly believe that Trump would be dangerous as President, and I will have to vote against him. I think that Clinton will be a truly awful President, but I don't think that she'll shoot her mouth off and get the country into trouble like Trump could. I get the Republicans want change in the Party, but change should not be ... this. Trump has zero track record of supporting the beliefs he now espouses. I have a feeling that those who vote for Trump will be (unpleasantly) surprised at how he will govern, if elected. The last time this country elected a President because we wanted "change" ..... we got the current President. I suspect that a Trump Presidency would have Republicans actually looking back on Obama's Presidency fondly.

I dont worry about Trump much as President. Because he will have a bunch of advisors directing his every action. I guess he could blow them off but that would be rather foolish and I don't think he is foolish.
