I think Goodell has too much "Image" at stake to negotiate. He has fought this too hard to let Brady off the hook now. The destroyed cell phone was a slap in Goodell's face that he can not negotiate down.

The NFL has spend nearly $20mil in legal fees already and it could reach $60mil if TB12 takes them deep. That is money directly out of the owners pockets, off their bottom line. TB12 can bring Goodell to his knees on this. The owners will only put up with Goodell so long. Tom needs to take this to the highest level possible. The owners will put a stop to Goodell soon enough.

If it's cost the nfl $20 mil. in legal fees, imagine what Brady, or the nflpa, or the patriots (or some combination of them) has paid.

The nfl has deep pockets.

Brady can fight it if he wants, but either he, the nflpa or the patriots have to pay legal fees also.

That is absolutely fabulous.

I magazine having Bellichuk as a character witness on your behalf in court.

Brady is a lucky guy.
