Houston traded up - going for Lynch? Considering the just sign Osweiler to a giant contract, no. They drafted a wide receiver. They're up again at 22.

I am still hoping we grab Michael Thomas at whatever 2nd round pick we trade down to.

I don't give a crap about commercials I care about catches and touchdowns.I better see alot of both..... Or what? You'll continue to complain about everything? I think that's assured no matter what. Very funny. Yes I should be super positive. I mean the Browns have played perfectly. Never make mistake. Never do the wrong thing. Thanks for pointing that out. Nice to know losing is such a positive thing you guys enjoy so much. I can pretty much guarantee you're REALLY going to enjoy this coming season.

I can't see us trading up for a pick when the 32nd pick is so cheap compared to a first rounder.
We would have to keep the 32nd pick and trade others... which I don't see happening.

He ran a 4.3 something 40 with a bum hamstring.
He is a dynamic playmaker. Runs like an animal possessed after the catch. Good hands not elite. Scored something like 18 TD last season. 20 Thanks. And that hamstring might have been recovering from sports hernia surgery. Not sure.

Good keeps Treadwell out on the Nati. That's all they need is another weapon.

I cannot think of too many scenarios where you would have been happy.
I am thrilled that the Browns have added huge value in their 2 trades, and have added a dynamic playmaker at WR, a position of dire need. He is going to have to work hard to adjust to the NFL ..... but he has ability and talent that cannot be taught.
In addition, we have added an extra 1st, 2 2nds, 2 3rds, and a 4th. (IIRC, it's at least this)
Will he be a sure thing? Of course not. Not one player in the draft is ever 100% sure. However, we added a dynamic player at a position of real need on this team, along with a huge haul of extra picks

Kinda interesting that Texans and 'skins swapped spots, and both took WRs. Texans must've had Fuller rated much higher, and 'skins didn't see a huge difference.

I disregard the extra picks... they have no bearing on this pick.
Either he lives up to #15, or he doesn't. That's his part in this.
The extra picks are a separate entity, completely.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

6.9 million at pick number 32 last year... 2nd round pick was 5.6 million.
that's a huge difference

I don't know a whole lot about him, so I'll reserve judgement.
One thing, (and this is probably nothing), but he didn't seem to happy when he got called. Again, probably nothing, but I'm always curious to see players reactions when they find out where they're going.
He seems like a guy with a whole bunch of talent that just needs to be molded and also turned loose. I'm glad we have a creative coach like Jackson. I would not be too hopeful if Pettine and Flip were still here.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

However, we added a dynamic player at a position of real need on this team, along with a huge haul of extra picks I will be elated if all that added "value" actually turns out to be REAL football players. You know. DIFFERENCE makers. Because you need that if you want to WIN. That is the goal isn't it? finding great players that win games? So it is what it is. They made their bed, they did the trades now they have to produce. WINS. So while I'm not thrilled we keep trading down which absolutely lessens the chance of finding great, as long as he IS a real stud WR and as long as the guys they pick with all this value become real players it's all good. But I want to see it. Otherwise you bet your ASS I will scream bloody murder about it. If we passed on a franchise QB and are still looking for one five years from now? Oh yeah I'll be pissed about it. If Elliot turns out to be a HOF running back and this kid can't catch? Oh yeah I WILL be pissed about it. You of course won't be for some reason, My question is why AREN'T you complaining about it? Why aren't you angry as hell about how this team has played forever? What the hell has there been to BE positive about?
