Big 12 lineman of the year. Higher rated pass protection rating of any tackle in the draft.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

PFF Draft @PFF_College Spencer Drango gave up just 6 pressures for a 98.9 pass blocking efficiency, the best mark among OTs in the NFL draft Tweet

I love the pick in the 5th despite being rather against taking tackles. You can't pass up a prospect like this so late. I think people are calling him a guard because of his technique, but I think he might be able to hang on as a tackle. Solid pick.

I don't remember watching him play. Here is this from a guy I respect. STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES STRENGTHS: Drango plays with the snap quickness, body angles and awareness to handle speed. Plays with a wide base with easy natural quickness in his kick-slide, positioning himself to stonewall rushers with brick hands. Relies on timing and awareness and is rarely caught on off-balance with a quick-thinking approach that limits his mistakes. WEAKNESSES: Transition from Baylor's spread offense to pro-style will be a sizeable challenge. His body type is better suited for guard and he needs technical refinement that can't be masked at the next level like it was in the Big 12. Nov. 2013 back surgery is a bright red flag and definitely something to monitor. COMPARES TO: Zach Martin, Cowboys. IN OUR VIEW: Drango has an impressive NFL skillset as the game appears to come very easily to him, but he projects best inside at the next level. --Dane Brugler (1/25/16) http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1886884/spencer-drango

LOL at these comparisons. I saw one earlier where they pretty much trashed the guy and said his pro comparison was Isaac Bruce.

Drago at guard is very interesting. RG would negate a lot of the spread issues as he would be protected inside. I gotta say Erving better step it up or he could be on the street.

I think if he was to stay @ OT ... he would be a career backup ... I don't think that we drafted him with that in mind. Plays with a mean streak.

Think he can mesh well with what we have? Good analysis for pass blocking; however, can he run block. Looks like a zone block scheme would take better advantage of his skill set. Think he can be or has he been solid on run blocking (which I hope to see more of this season). Seems to have good feet?

Seen him play much? We could use a "hacksaw" type inside.

Think he can mesh well with what we have? I don't know, Bard. I can't recall ever seeing him play. That's why I relied on that scouting report. I typically trust Bulger's takes. I just don't know much about Drango right now. Will have to watch him play.

I heard he was very smart. Good solid pick and could give us some depth and make some who are trying to get a starting job...work hard or lose the opportunity.

I'm shocked that Rex Ryan wasn't pushing the Bills to draft this kid in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds.

Great guy, good feet, and superb offensive lineman. Baylor didn't lose when he was healthy. His old back injury is the only reason I can see that he was drafted as late as he was.

I've been doing alot of looking at the 2017 draft solely based on having 2 firsts. Garrett A&M Pass Rusher opposite Ogbah and Fournette LSU RB.

Just remember he is a 5th round pick. 1. He has to fight to make the roster. 2. He has to work very hard and dedicated to become BETTER over the next few years. 3. Then we could just hope to see him compete as a starter and upgrade the OL.
Nobody can say that will or won't happen. So much is up to Drango himself.
Fans are asking for expert verification from fellow fans. What he was coming here is a moot point. Its what he does from hence forth that will determine his and our beloved Browns Future.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to the amazing Mothers out there in our Borwn's family On and Off the field!
