So the real jist I get is we got a situational pass rusher who's likely peaked already/has little upside?

Is this guy last year's Xavier Cooper type pick?

Where did you get that from? Everything I have seen some this kid reminds me of Carlos Dunlap. You're going to read a lot of "Jared Allen" but that's because he's white.

I was really big on Nassib and all of the metrics seem to point to him becoming a high quality player. He dominated my Buckeyes, he had a great year, he's quick and long and only begun to fill out his frame. When you look at him he looks like a skinny high school kid, but his strength is real and will only get stronger.

He's a little raw still, but I am a fan of this pick. He is nothing even close to Xavier Cooper.

I'll post this again in case you missed it.

By just reading some comments here by those who watched him. Someone said flat out he's a situational pass rusher, someone who re-watched the OSU game said no upside.

I'm not a college fan outside OSU, so I'm leaning on observations of those who are.

He had at least one sack in every single game he played this year.

j/c

I thought a lot of his production was a result of Johnson and Zettel collapsing the interior of the pocket on my first take. I'll take another look at him.

I wish he had better jumps/explosion. His overall RAS is good, but it doesn't scream edge rusher. He was mentioned as an interior player in one of the pressers. I'll have to see how he stacks up at that position number wise.

Until he gets more experiance and adds some bulk ... he will I think be just a PRS DE.

I think Nassib was worth a 3rd round pick. I think he will be a situational pass rusher, probably playing in nickel packages and moving around in those particular packages.

If I remember right, he was a walk-on at Penn State. Had the one big year, but it could be that he is a late developer.

I really don't have a problem w/this pick at all.

I don't either ... I don't think that he was a reach either.

Just some observations I made on day 2 of the draft:

We took OLB Ogbah @ 32. I didn't have him on my board there, because I thought that he would have gone in the 1st round. Not a problem, but ...

The Ravens follow suit with their 2nd round selecting the guy I liked and thought would be available @ 32 ... OLB Correa.

We select DE Nassib ... The Ravens follow suit again selecting DE Kaufusi.

It will be interesting to look back at this draft in a few years and compare those selections for both teams.

Are you talking linked articles, or simply comments by other posters?
