I don't disagree with your take on the pick, but I do find playing the victim card is getting old.
You can't make a post or pose a question expecting that no one will question you on it. Somebody's going to have a different view.
Oh I don't care about who questions it or that they question it. I've never heard the term "Odd" as meaning you are playing the victim. I always thought it meant unusual. But you are entitled to read that term any way you want.
I wasn't referring to the word, "odd", when I said, "playing the victim". I was referring to your statement, "See, nobody can question anything around here."And yes, I guess if you dig long and hard enough, you can find someone who had a 3rd round grade on him. I mean there are exceptions to the rule in almost anything.
I didn't go digging "long and hard" for an exception to the rule to respond to you. I don't like the pick either. That sent me looking for information on him, which I found, I think, the day after he was selected.I guess my point is, that if you wish to get the least amount of resistance around here you should say something like this....
Our draft was perfect! This is the best FO we've ever had here since our return. They never reached on any pick and all 14 of our draft picks will be superstars, starters or contribute for years to come.That's a little too Tabulicious for me and in no way reflects the actual outcome of any draft in the NFL.
I don't know about "Tabulicious" but I do agree a response like that doesn't reflect the draft, so don't do that. But also don't assume that everyone who has a counterpoint to yours is only responding with it to defend the FO.
