By that logic, I can say that call of duty is a religion, since I read the manual.

Some of the clues if you please,...are in the anceint hebrew tex. So you must obviously have a source and then know how to interpet the tex or words, meaning, tgen you have take the story and find the clues as to where the bible is saying said event is taking place.

Genesis 13:10

"Lot looked out over the kittrah (plane of jordon) and saw that everything was well watered, like the garden of yahweh like the land of Egypt towards Zoar."

This was when Abram and Lot seperated their heards, because the land could not sustain the two groups.

We also know from this chapter their whereabouts at the time of this meeting. They where at Bethel and Ai. you can see the site of Sodom today with the naked eye.

Remember Lot and his Daughters where rescued from the devastation of Sodom because they lived in the town.

Note:

kittrah (sp), in ancient times means sphere or talin. A flat plane.

So yes the bible will tell you where to look, but you have to read the text and not all archeologist do that.

btw,... Dr. Steven Collins used these same bible verses in locating Sodom. He also helped to find and excavate the site at Ai, so he had a very good context from which to look for Sodom.

When all of academia where saying it must have been in the Southern Dead Sea plane.

There are prophecies in the Bible that were actually fulfilled by people not named in the Bible.

One of whom was Alexander the Great.

God said through Ezekiel that he would judge the city of Tyre, going so far as to scrape it as flat as the top of a rock.

Nebuchadnezzar comes along to conquer the city, but the seafaring people of Tyre get in their boats and sail out to an island not far from shore.

One could argue that this isn't all that impressive a prophecy as Ezekiel lived in the time of Nebuchadnezzar. He could've just been quoting a current event.

Until Alexander the Great comes along some 250 years later or so, takes all the abandoned buildings and dumps them into the sea, building himself a bridge out to the island so he could conquer those people.

That's the most notable one I can speak of, but there are more.

Maybe I'm just drunk, but this is what I read. God was right there.

Hey now, it was Hemingway who did this to me... or maybe St. Gregory the Great. I forget.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
