Hope they all go long series, just not ours. Cavs in 6 in the final.

I have no problem with our guys getting rest.

Lebron has a ton of miles on him.

Irving, Shumpert, and Love have their injury history. Playing the minimum through 2 series is awesome. Less games, less chance of something happening.

The time off also gives them a chance to practice and plan.

Probably more than anything, this is now an experienced group that has gone all the way to within 2 wins of a title. I don't think rust will be much of an issue. As a group, these guys know what they have to do and what will be asked of them.

As a fan it's a bit much because you want to inch closer to the title.

well we're going to get another week of rest in 10 more days, so you'll get your wish

Cavs in 4-5 games tops ... rest a week ... then GS

I agree. Miami and Toronto are both reeling w/injuries and fatigue. I didn't think that either could beat the Cavs when they were healthy and I don't think either can even compete now that they are so banged-up.

Not to mention the quick turnaround. Winner has to travel to Cleveland, probably right after the game. That sucks.

Like I said, if that series goes more than 5 games, that's on the Cavs.

And I really really think OKC is going to push the Warriors. I think they have the pieces to give Golden State some problems. The Warrior's defense, and the home court advantage will be huge, but I could definitely see a 6-7 game series.

Regardless of how the series goes, The Finals are set for June 2, and that's in stone. If they were to sweep, they would get almost 10 days off.

I don't think they will, because Toronto or Miami are both capable of winning at home.

I think we will face Miami. NBA wants it for ratings. They will flip ish if a team from Canada makes it over Wade vs Lebron.

I must say, I'm getting into watching playoff basketball more this year than any other year (and not just the Cavs).

This Miami/Toronto game is exciting, and the crowd is pumped.

I hope none of the Raptors get hurt in these final minutes. Time to start pulling some of your key players.

Well Cav fans,

Everyone is healthy and the Cavs are hitting on all cylinders.

This is what LeBron envisioned two years ago.

Here we go.

It’s the Cavaliers vs. The Cleveland Curse.

Cavs from a personnel standpoint are the Raptors on steroids. Toronto has a monsterous obstacle in front of them.

Drake will be running through the 6 with his woes.

Is it that obvious? I also cheer for the Blue Jays and the Leafs...

Toronto's chances are about as good as the Browns have of winning the Superbowl.

Toronto is actually in the playoffs... So I think they have a slightly better chance than the Browns smile

They're not, I think they'll back off on him and rely on being strong under the hoop (pending the return of Valanciunas).

The spacing will be too much. I think Toronto has had their share of bad offensive lapses throughout the first two rounds. The Cavs are no defensive juggernaut, but if they step it up, or you go cold, they are a nightmare in transition.

I can't wait for this thing to get back started, and I really can't wait for OKC/GSW.

I don't follow the NBA much so I don't know how their respective regular seasons went down (injuries, other factors), but I see the Cavaliers only had one more win than Toronto in the regular season. I also don't know how they might match up with each other I admit.

I know the Cavs rolled through the first two rounds but to call a sweep is very premature.

lamp, I've found that the relationship between an NBA team's season performance and subsequent play-off performance is not necessarily very strong.

My take is that the NBA regular season is more like a preseason.

Generally, good teams do well in the preseason and then are tuned-up for the regular season.

So, the Cavs did not have an incredibly great regular season - by design.

The regular season was only to get tuned-up for the play-offs.

This is it. This is as good as we're gonna see.

Lot of factors come into play with regular season stuff. Pistons were 3-1 against Cavs, I think the Hawks won some games.

Playoffs are truly a new season. It's more about the match ups and health of the team.

I'm not saying sweep at all. Toronto is a good team who plays well at home.

Their best chance in this series is game 1. Maybe they can continue their good shooting from game 7.

I hope the Cavs come out attacking the rim and not jacking all 3's.

Carolina almost went 16-0 and demolished teams in the playoffs. Yet they looked like they didn't belong on the same field as Denver in the Super Bowl.

Regular season is not the same as postseason.

I expect to see that lineup quite a bit. I don't think Lowry and DeRozan are going to be able to keep up with the sniping. I just would like to see some early attacking.

I don't believe in the rest/rust factor, but I think most cavs fans will feel better if they get the win tomorrow.

I have a feeling the first 5-6 minutes of the game is going to be some serious uptempo. Toronto better not get cold during that stretch because I think the cavs want to throw an early haymaker.
