$2,833,000 for 2016...a $783K raise over his 2015 salary.

I think we can spare the 783 grand don't you think? Regarding our Cap. If we were on the cusp of some serious cap problems...I can see this actually making some sense.

The bevy of Punters coming into the NFL every year...btw how many of the KICKERS brought in are punters...is it a Cream rising to the top situation or protecting our Punter from getting Dead Leg punting too much.

And it always could happen somebody comes along and is actually a better PUNTER than Lee...which is the case with many. But No way this is a reaction to 783 grand we dipped into our cap. The first sign his leg strength is declining from what we got last year. I'm all with the change but I don't think its about $$$ but talent.
