Where was this OKC the whole year? Adams playing the way he has in the playoffs is a total game changer. Same with Kanter not being complete dog poop on defense. Even Waiters hasn't been horrible. Add that to Durant and Westbrook and you have a pretty unstoppable team.

So if we get OKC, does that give us a better chance? Do we match up better against them than GS?

GS should just pack it in, losing Game 3.. The most important game of the series..

So is that the key? Tick off green and win the game?

OKC will be favored if they beat Golden State. Beating the Spurs and a 73 win team on the road to the finals gives you that privilege.

Nobody has a player that can guard Westbrook. LeBron can guard Durant, but he would be pretty worn down on the other end.

The Thunder have two pretty good five man rotations, Adams/Kanter/Durant/Roberson or Waiters (!)/Westbrook and Adams or Ibaka/Durant/Waiters/Roberson/Westbrook. The Cavs two best rotation in the playoffs has been Frye/Love/LeBron/Smith/Irving. I believe this Thunder team would destroy that lineup and force the Cavs to go back to their big lineup of Thompson/Love/LeBron/Smith/Irving. The one ace in the hole the Cavs have yet to play is LeBron at the five. A lineup of LeBron/Love/Smith/guard/Irving would be very interesting.

Why is it more important than game four? Golden State basically just needs a split.

So Lebrons first year in Miami they lost to a team playing great team basketball.. Then the following year, they beat the Thunder..

Save the website. It always works, year after year, but sometimes they tweak (change) the name a little bit.

This game is just unbelievable. Who woulda thought, OKC up on the Warriors, end of third .... by 37 points?

I wonder if they'll suspend green for that kick. Jones got suspended a game for that hit on miyombo.

It'd suck as a Cavs fan, but how hilarious would it be if the NBA Finals ended up being Toronto & OKC?

My god the troll level would be over 9000 if that happened.

From a cab perspective, man that whole offseason would suck. Who's getting fired/traded/burned at the stake would be 24/7 on ESPN.

Not funny at all...

What this game tells me is it really is up for grabs, if OKC can do this to GS, we sure as hell can.

What happened to Curry? Just an off night?

Their big 3 just wasn't hitting. And OKC's mobile big like Adams is just killing GS on the defensive end.

People keep saying it's just one game, but given the championship drought, it's never just one game in Cleveland.

Granted, I'm not in panic mode yet, I'm hoping we just had an off night.

If he doesn't, we'll sure know who the nba favors. Jones' infraction didn't look that blatant and he got a game.

Green should be suspended. That was intentional. The guy has been a jerk this entire series. In an earlier game, the sideline reporter was addressing all of Green's technical fouls. He/she said that Green had said that he can't fall into the trap of OKC's taunting and baiting. At the very same time, Green is running back down the court getting in the face of either Adams or Kanter. I think it was Adams and he later did the same thing to Kanter. He's a jerk.

Green had been getting away with murder since last year.

Cheap shots, illegal screens, etc.

Green is a jerk and probably did it on purpose ... he's one of my least favorite personalities and players.

However, I doubt he'll be suspended. And Vegas agrees as of right now. Warriors still favored.

j/c...

I'm glad I was wrong about OKC. I'm loving them whipping the Warriors arse. It's beautiful. I'll still believe they win this series when they actually win the series.

As for Green, he's what happens when you take a JAG, turn him into a good player because of your system, and the arrogance and overconfidence runs amok. Curry is also annoying and arrogant as hell, but at least he's a legit great player.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I don't like how physical and dirty the series seems to be heading toward. Last thing we need is a JR suspension or dirty play leading to injury. The intensity is high and coming into tonight's game, I'm sure both seems emotions are riding high levels now.

Only thing I'll say about the loss is... gotta hit those open non contested shots. TT needs to play better.

Yeah exactly. The precedent has been set. I had to watch that Dahntay Jones play 6 times before I saw when exactly he hit him. Green's play was 10 times worse and much more obvious. Plus Green already has a pretty bad reputation for getting away with crap.

Seriously though. This is 5 times worse than Dahntay. Dahntay gets twisted around on a rebound, pulls his arm back to where it naturally should go and catches Biyombo.

Green pulled a full-on Mr Miyagi crane-kick on Adams.

yeah i agree..I think green is a terrific player, but i think he's an incredible douchebag as well..hope he gets taken out by adams before the series is over.

which scares me the most about a Cavs/OKC finals, westbrook/durant get washed out by kyrie and lebron,, but the bigs...good lord theres a huge discrepancy between kanter/adams and TT/mosgov... I honestly would trust mosgov more than TT, good mosgov gets you rim protection and some offense. Good TT gets you the occasional rebound and no offense or defense. I think you have to give mosgov a chance to atleast see if you have someone to play next series, because if its GS, you almost have to play him against bogut, and if its OKC, i still think a head straight mosgov is the better option. TT is better coming off the bench where he can roam vs lesser players

I agree bro.

Man.... I love TT, but people gotta look at this from an unbiased perspective:

Other than maybe 3-4 games, TT has been getting handled on the boards and on defense.

A guy like Miyombo should not be cleaning up on TT. Drummond was giving him a good old fashion beat down in the paint.

And Adams is better than both of them.

If you two would actually watch the games instead of typing throughout each game, you might have a better handle on what TT does for the team.

If Green doesn't get suspended, Gilbert needs to send a harshly worded letter to the NBA in Comic Sans font.

I like TT when he wasn't making an insane amount of money on a new contract. We need that level of consistent play. Need him to be more physical. These playoff games, imo, I think he's been on the colder side more than anything else.

Earn that money dude.

The Raptors definitely fed off of Biyombo's energy the other night. Crowd went nuts every time he hammered somebody, etc... and the Cavs just let it happen and did nothing.

I don't know if it was a result of the first 2 games or not, where the Raptors hung in through most of the first half, then the Cavs blew them out.. if the Cavs just assumed that was going to happen again or what.

I can't believe in this entire thread no one has pointed out that Thompson hitting Lebron was Carroll shoving Thompson's arm away. It's so blatant on the video that Carroll actually turns to Thompson to give him a "my bad" because he felt the impact and didn't realize it was into James.

http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2016/05/lebron_james_takes_accidental.html

That article is made out about how Lebron fell but the Vine video is clear as day, if Thompson's arm isn't in the way Carroll hits Lebron in the mouth with an elbow.

Anyway, the Cavs played poorly and the refs were inconsitent on both sides but I have been of the opinion that the Cavs going into the Finals undefeated would have been a terrible thing. I would like to see this be done as quickly as possible to get our guys rest but I don't see us losing this round.
