Report: Johnny Manziel offered job at Vegas nightclub

Apparently there might be life after football for beleaguered quarterback Johnny Manziel. According to an Instagram post by world-renowned hospitality mogul Jason Strauss, he has been trying to talk Manziel into working for him as a VIP host.

Strauss and his business partners are the money and brain trust behind some of the most successful nightclub and restaurant brands to open in the past decade, including Marquee, TAO, Avenue and LAVO. They currently operate six of the top 16 highest grossing nightlife venues in the country.

Johnny Manziel has yet to be brought in by any NFL team after being released by the Cleveland Browns this year. He has been dropped by two agents and refused to check himself into rehabilitation despite a number of behavioral and legal issues associated with his partying lifestyle.

probably

He should take the job while it's being offered. Kid has no future in sports, and you can't be a professional partier for long. Paris Hilton is the most successful at it, and she's waaaay hotter and a boatload wealthier with more connections..... his 15 minutes are about fizzled out.

I'm not sure. But as of this date, I'd say the club scene is what he has the most experience in that he has a strong aptitude for.

One of these days he's going to pick a fight with the wrong guy.... I knew a guy kind of like Johnny. Liked to drink but couldn't handle it so he started fights all the time. He went to Mardi Gras and picked a fight with the wrong man. Dude gutted him from stem to stern. Dead at around 25 or so.... Never pick a fight in a bar. Guy could be a grizzley bear in disguise. Johnny might just find that out someday.....

He sure is trying to beat out his buddy meathead for dumbest man on the planet honors....

Man, the images on the link are just shocking. He cannot have touched a weight since he was cut. I hope that's all there is to it.

I had to roll my eyes, though, at their list of things Manziel has done since being cut ..... when they listed "got a tattoo". Big deal. Lots of kids that age do that.

Johnny Manziel is shockingly skinny, staying in $25K per night hotel room - CBSSports.com
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/johnny...ight-hotel-room

If Johnny Manziel ever plans on making a return to football, he's going to need to hit the weight room first because he's dropped some serious weight since being released by the Browns back in March.

Manziel was recently at a pool party in Las Vegas when someone snapped a picture of the shockingly skinny former quarterback (via TMZ).

(Twitter posts on the link)

The fact that he's lost some weight shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone: The 23-year-old has pretty much been partying non-stop for the past two months.

If you've somehow lost track of what Manziel's been up to since he was cut, here's a brief rehash:

He went to a club in Los Angeles.
He went to another club in L.A. (He goes to a lot of clubs)
He hired a new agent because his old one fired him.
He went to a club in Miami.
He went to a Chris Brown concert in Vegas.
He went to a club in Vegas.
He went to another club in L.A.
He got a tattoo.
He spent some time with Justin Bieber.
He did $32,000 in damage to a $4.5 million house.
He watched the NFL Draft at a bar.

Manziel has also put his home in Ohio on the market, which makes sense because he was never there. The former Browns quarterback has basically been spending almost all of his time in Vegas and L.A.

During his most recent trip to Vegas, not only did Manziel party poolside, but he also made sure to stay in one of the nicest rooms that Sin City offers: The Palms hardwood suite.

Yup.
Everyone is a good example... it's up to each person, however, whether they are an example of What To Do or What NOT To Do.

I agree. He could have possibly been a star in this city if he would have kept his nose clean (pun intended).

Now? There is a good chance he'll probably never play NFL football again.

We all make mistakes. Manziel's are not an occasional brain fart, they're lifestyle choices.

This thread is still going strong. LOL

I gotta remember to link this thread the next time someone tells me that to not talk about the free agents we lost because they no longer play for the Browns.

I have a feeling I'll be on this board in 50 years and Manziel will still be an ongoing topic.

He's easily surpassed the old board's Couch/Holcomb debates

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

The thing is it's not really being debated, everyone for the most part seems to agree. He's a train wreck happening in front of your eyes and it's difficult not to look. Like the Eveready bunny, he keeps partying and partying and partying. Down the wabbit hole he goes...
