I agree with the Kyrie comments but then he does something so incredible that completely demoralizes the other team also. He's still a really young inexperienced player. He will grow and mature. Hopefully his bad habits don't cost Cleveland a championship.

Looking back, I wish we had a playoff game or two that came down to the final possession. That kind of experience is invaluable.

Love just has to stay aggressive at all times, even if he's 0-30. When his confidence gets rattled he gets passive and its disruptive to the flow of the offense and puts the other players in compromising positions. Basketball is about a mindset. That's why I never care when guys miss shots. It's about playing with confidence and flow. Missed shots are not a death sentence. How you react to them can be. And, of course, you have to play D. Not trying on defense is 10x worse than missed shots.

god there are so many haters on the espn boards and others. i believe it now like i believed it then: if kyrie and love were healthy, GS wouldn't have a title last year.
i hope we absolutely crush whoever we play in the finals. i don't want to just win, i want a complete embarrassment to shut them up.

I think we definitely need his points...

The best thing to do is not check your cell phone or discuss the game(s) with anyone at work, if possible, while recording the game (if you have a DVR). Then go home and watch it like it's live.

But is Dan Gilbert one of the best things to happen to Cleveland in a long time?
The casino is helping to revitalize downtown Cleveland, The Cavs in the finals, The Monsters in the finals, The Gladiators have played in a Arena Bowl recently.

He also bought the mall at Tower City. Looking forward to seeing what he does with that space. The Tower City mall used be incredible back in the early to mid 90's before it went completely downhill. I'm amazed the Brooks Brothers is still there.

Think he'd be interested in buying the Indians and Browns? fixed. Gilbert is the best owner in cleveland by a long long long stretch. Even when we were lottery after lebron left, Gilbert still spent like crazy, took on some bad deals to help us in the future and ultimately built the most dominant team the cavs have ever had. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but man i swear looking back, its almost like Lebron and Gilbert planned the whole thing

I've got mixed feelings. I'd love to have the HC advantage, but I'd also love to shut that GS crowd up and beat that mouthpiece chewing Curry and the thug Green like we should have last year.

HC advantage is huge in the finals. We gotta pull for OKC
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

You and me both. I was discussing this with some work peeps today. I like the idea of HC advantage, but I feel like we will have an edge mentality wise if we play GS based on the way the Finals ended last year. I would love to just smack Curry and Green in the face lol. OKC is a very athletic team and I don't know that we have an answer for their weapons. No way Kyrie can shut down Westbrook defensively and the combo of Ibaka and Adams is scary based on our ability to defend the paint. Personally I have this unwavering feeling that this is the year and it doesn't matter who we play, but I selfishly want to destroy the Warriors to shut everyone up about that joke of a team.

It's WONDERFUL. I wake up, avoid looking at anything, get on the treadmill/elliptical and watch each game. If it's possible for you to do, keep it in mind.

I go in at 5:30pm, and we don't leave till we're done. (Warehouse loader, Pepsi, people drink too much friggen pop)
I would have to turn off my notifications and literally tell everyone not to talk about it.. which wouldn't happen..
If we get to an elimination game that has the feeling of being the end, I'll probably just call off..
I cannot be at work if we win the title.. I just cant.. I need to watch it..

Gilbert is the best owner in cleveland by a long long long stretch. Even when we were lottery after lebron left, Gilbert still spent like crazy, took on some bad deals to help us in the future and ultimately built the most dominant team the cavs have ever had. He's a good owner, but I think the other owners get a bad rap. Gilbert has it so much easier than any other sports team owner in that he has the best player in a generation printing him money. It's easy to "spend" crazy amounts of money when you're making it back three-fold because you have Lebron on your team. I remember back when we didn't have Lebron, people were saying Gilbert was a terrible owner because he put out that letter to Lebron, he hired terrible coaches, and kept botching all those top draft picks. Then Lebron came back, and he was awesome again. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but man i swear looking back, its almost like Lebron and Gilbert planned the whole thing I don't think they were BOTH in on it, but I actually think that was LeBron's intent. He knew that as long as he was here, Cleveland couldn't get any new talent. They would never have a pick in the top 20, they couldn't get top free agents, and they had no reasonable trade assets, mostly because of the first two. So I think he felt he should leave Cleveland for a few years and see if they could build up a new young core. When they got better, he'd join back up and try to win one championship in his twilight years. Of course, Miami sort of imploded earlier than thought and the Cavs got lucky with the lottery. So he jumped back earlier than he thought, but I think deep in his mind, that was sort of the plan he was hoping for.
