Just this evening, I have been getting script errors on every page that I pull up from dawgtalkers.net

I am using the ATT/Yahoo browser on Windows XP (series 2002) and fully updated software wise on a Dell Inspiron ME051 Laptop. Haven't had this problem before...just curious.

Are some (or one) of the add-ons on the page tops or bottoms causing the script errors?

O.K., I think I know what it is. When I pull up the thread list for the Tailgate Lot, I get the script error message and I have to click it eight (8) times in order for the popup to go away. Not surprisingly there are 8 ads for Bengals tickets, 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom of the page. Hmmmm. I believe I found the culprit.

...and when I pull up the individual thread the popup has to be clicked 4 times, the identical number of ads at the bottom of the thread advertising NCAA Recruiting, Alabama Football Store, Brady Quinn Autograph, and Memphis Basketball.

and the window that appears telling you that your post has been added, two times, for the two ads that are at the bottom of that page. Is there a way the script can be checked or do I have to click a bunch of extra times?

...o.k., somebody must have fixed it, because I didn't do anything and I'm not getting the popups now. Thanks.

I was getting them earlier, too. Had to click four times to make the popup go away.

I use Firefox, hence get no pop-ups, and virtually never have a problem.

Make the switch.

It wasn't an ad that was popping up...it was an error box.

Firefox may not give the script errors because it may have it's software written to accept code and convert the code that has the errors in it to what the softwware writer has written it to default to as to not get a popup.

I see what you're saying though, Beerdowner thought we were receiving advertising popups, when in fact we were receiving error code popups.

That was a result of an intended action, I had to restart the database server for a change to take effect.
