not really, he coached this warrior team and couldn 't do anything with them, then got fired for kerr, and now he just annoys as a broadcaster offering nothing. I wouldn't mind having JVG though, you can bet we'd be able to defend

So if Lebron came back for the sole purpose of stacking the organization with people that will just funnel money into his agency and his pockets what hope do we genuinely have?

I think posters sometimes confuse the NBA with the NFL. In the NFL with great coaching and teamwork you can hide talent gaps. In the NBA you have zero chance. You can’t hide a guy when there’s only 5 on the court for your side. This is a rude crash course awakening on the importance of talent. “Heart, scrappiness, and will to win” only help you so far.

I think Golden State, along with San Antonio, show the harbinger of a changing NBA landscape. For too long we valued defense (the early 2000s Detroit teams), or that player(s) to dismantle teams (MJ, Kobe, Celtics big 3).

Kerr saw all this. Instead he bucked that trend, and built his own system. His system effectively combats how we want to play, and our other two stars suck at defense.

Hats off to Kerr. They deserve another championship.

Guys don't worry we still have our Browns! At least with them we know they are going to suck.

Well, this year and last year was probably our best shot at a title.

Depending on where some key FA's land, it's possible we won't even make it out the east next year.

I would like to hear an apology to the fans and the city of Cleveland after such a display, this game was just plain rubbish.

I have no idea what to say, if Lebron truly wants a coach that had this very team who couldn't do anything with them to be our coach then I truly question his motives for coming back.

I wouldn't have thought he'd have done that.

This team will be good enough to get to the Finals every year for the next 2-3 seasons, but unfortunately we may be going up against one of the great dynasties in the making in the Golden State Warriors. We will not win a title with this group and will be remembered like the Buffalo Bills of the '90s are remembered - good team but ultimately a disappointment. I'd rather be the Mavericks and steal one title then make it 4-5 years in a row and never win. Believeland!

Lebron is about to be 2-5 in the finals.

3 of those losses here in cleveland. I really feel like it's a massive conspiracy sometimes to keep cleveland from titles. We had the best active player in the world yet couldn't get it done? Yet he goes to another team and gets 2 easy.

This crap just hurts, man.

Michael Jordan also had another superstar in Pippen that actually showed up in the finals.

Kyrie and love are made of charmin. Soft asses. We just need 1 of them to show up. We can't even get that.

Well whatever the case, he did come back and it does look like he plays with passion until all of his supporting cast checks out.

Jordan wouldn't let the supporting cast check out.

Lue looks like he draws up plays with a crayon. Kerr draws them up with a fine paint brush.

Oof. The Cavs haven't been very good on defense the whole season and it is really coming back to bite them.

Lue made some curious decisions. Why are they trying to play fast against the Warriors, a team that thrives on playing fast?

If Richard Jefferson is your second best player in 2016, then you aren't winning a title.

The Cavs now have to win four out of five against a team that lost nine games the entire season. Two of those games will be on the road.

Do you have a terminal illness or something? Are you just that old? Hurts me watching this too but we can't give up. We've hung in there this long.

LOL Yes my terminal illness is being a Cleveland fan. I'm 42 but in Cleveland years that's like 100.

That was very depressing, the first game I haven't watched all the way through this postseason. At this point I have to admit that Golden State just has a better, deeper team. We can still protect our home floor and I'm really hoping for that happen but even if it does I don't see how we can win a game 7.

The refs really didn't help us but it's not like they were totally in the tank for GS, I mean Curry did get 4 early-ish.

I just don't understand how we can play such stupid basketball at this point. We had at least 3 passes that were on point to outside shooters that just went right through their hands. That's not talent, and whether they made the shots or not, it's not a turnover if they at least do their jobs.

<sigh> I really did believe. Now all I have is hope in a miracle...

I was hoping the game was just a nightmare

Honestly I'd rather have us not be in the finals than to be embarrassed like this ... it's awful
