Oh wow. I missed that.

Did I ever tell you that:

--I'm very handsome?
--Intelligent?
--Athletic?
--Morally sound?
--Well spoken?
--Cool?
--But, I always thought my most charming attribute was my humility...

Kinda like that..........??? LOL

Probably because no one has even been close to being wrong more than tab has.

Hey.

I've been wrong a lot too. rofl

I have been right a lot too. Unfortunately, a lot of those times have been when I said that a Browns player was not going to succeed. frown crazy

So out of all that I posted that is the football you chose to comment on...some people are very shallow. I would say that there are probably around 20 posters on this board that have the same sentiments...not ME and my evaluation...but once they make their studies they trust their own evaluation more than anyone else. Why every QB thread probably has their hits and continued discussion.

Some how you think to insult me is cool or something...If I were you would spend less time mocking and more time learning football...have a nice day smile

I do not dislike you personally, but to be honest tab, I find your evaluations of players on this team to be suspect, because of your self-admitted hometown and self-admitted unwillingness to criticize Browns players until they're not Browns anymore.

I do try to learn about football on these boards from those more knowledgable than me and I recognize there are lots of those posters. But not even vers or pit or overtoad would come on this message board and say they trusted their evaluations over that of all others (even if they think it, and I know they probably do sometimes. smile

A poster says that aloud, you gotta respond.

Edit: I'll not respond to your 'shallow' inference.
Although, I guess I just did.

In all fairness, Tab doesn't have a terrible track record:
- He was right about his assessment of McCown last season
- He was right about the WR corps NOT being the weak link in the offense the season prior to that
- He was right about how good of a CB Skrine would turn in to.

All three of those examples were in the face of the majority who's own evaluations said that all three of those were worthless. I'm not a stat guy, but I'd have to say that anecdotally he's got a pretty good track record in his assessments and predictions that are contrary to the majority opinion. Yes, on occasion it's evident the homer part gets him a little carried away, but I'm not so sure when being a FAN became such a bad thing?

Hello all. I hope you dont mind, but I'd like to throw in my 2 cents as a Skins fan on RG3. I'll start off by saying I was a huge fan of RG3 and really hope he has success in Cleveland. It would be a great story for all involved. Hell, until recently my license plates said "RG3 RG3". Haha. There is also a pretty good book by David Shein called "RG3: The Promise". It gives great detail on his background. After reading this book, I just KNEW he would bounce back. Unfortunately, it didnt happen with the Redskins.

Why I think he will succeed:
His rookie season was amazing. The throws he made were incredible. There is no denying his accuracy and arm strength. Go to the 1:10 mark and watch this throw:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LL0m99zsHeI

Having the year off to sit, watch and heal is probably the best thing that could happen to him. Hopefully it has humbled him. I dont think anyone can question his work ethic.

Why I dont think he'll succeed:
RG3 screwed himself by demanding Shanahan dump the read option. I saw a post that the reason he got hurt was due to the read option. That is simply not true. All he had to do was learn how to slide and the read option was the safest play he could possibly run. Infact the play he got hurt on against the Ravens was a scramble play out of the pocket.

RG3 is not a pocket passer. He holds on to the ball entirely too long looking for the big play rather than taking what is given to him. It was night and day when Cousins took over. The oline went from looking like the worst in the league, to a strength. This is something for you to watch for during preseason. He will take a lot of hits holding on to the ball too long.

Gruden was brought to DC for one reason only...turn RG3 into a pocket passer. For Gruden to convince Snyder that RG3 couldnt be a pocket passer was a huge risk on Grudens part. Snyder was RG3's biggest fan.

Conclusion:
If RG3 can learn to read the defense and get rid of the ball quickly, he'll bounce back. I also believe he'll have to incorporate the read option. Even if it is just 4-5 plays a game to keep the defense honest. Just the threat is enough. If he continues to hold on to the ball too long, he wont make it to week 4 to get his redemption against the Skins.

Welcome HTTR.. We're hoping for someone more like RGIII of his rookie year to show up for us. Hope he does and I hope he stays healthy.

We seem to have a bit of a QB Guru as a HC. He did more with Big Red in Cincy than Gruden did so if I had to have a reason to believe, perhaps that's it.

My #1 concern with Rg3 coming out of college was his durability...could a QB who bases his game on movement and running withstand the punishment at the NFL level...turns out, injuries were a good reason to be concerned rg3's game.

Can Hue remake rg3 into a pocket passer?

Rg3's durability is still a concern of mine.

I'm a firm believer they (Washington) played him hardcore when he wasn't healthy or healed, resulting in injuries of his many injuries. But, I mean, kid never slides. He think defenders are going to chase him around just to wrap up or shoelace tackle? Heck no, they're going to try to decapitate him.

Durability, one of the many concerns to have with RGIII. His body fully healthy has still gotta be somewhat fragile due to all the issues.

Funny you say he never slides and yet his first play as a pro was a run up the middle where he slid to avoid a hit. LOL

If you cannot see value in my evaluations and put it in your own perspective...that is actually your problem not mine. You don't respect my opinion cause I am a self acclaimed homer?

This is a message board you post your way I post mine. I don't go into reading a post as this guy is always negative I can't believe a word he is saying. So you think a poster to be a good respectable poster must pee on his team!

I feel that is ridiculous. I also have stated that once our team is more successful - I feel that I probably would criticize more. Not to be confrontational. But I came on the board in 2001 and did my share of criticizing and just found that it was too easy and whether my point was valid or not Soooo many were posting negatives and I could feel that fans needed some HOPE.

Now if you are saying I just make evaluation up! Then I would just be pissed at you. Do I leave out the negatives...heck yes but it doesn't mean the positives are not there.

What you all forget is the many many times I am not just right...you can be wrong for many of the things but negative posters state...see I was right for the end result.

The few successes we have I just don't glom onto it. I usually call it on the nose and the reasons for those successes. But all those seem to be forgotten and I get this Crap about you are not a good poster cause you are a HOMER.

Discuss things if you may. But to state...you are wrong cause you are a homer is pretty shallow as I stated...that ain't football that is playing games and trying to overcome a discussion about football that has to do with my fandom not football. When I state something positive tell me why its completely wrong not tell me its wrong cause I am a positive poster.

One slide out of... how many taken hits? The odds will never be in his favor there, unless he consistently does it.

While I'm not trying to discount your opinion, I do think there's another factor to consider when it comes to Dalton. While it's true that Dalton was more productive under Hue, it's also true that Dalton was still developing as a QB. Gruden took a second round rookie and did a great job of developing him and he had great progress all along the way.

So the real question is was a lot of what we saw from Daltons progress indicative of Hue being a QB whisperer, or does a lot of it have to do with the natural progress in the development and maturity of Dalton?

I'm not sure of the answer to that question but Dalton had grown and matured a lot under Gruden before Hue came along.

What we do know is that RG3 has a long way to go. Everything from mechanics to reading D's. So I guess we'll soon see the answer to that question.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

That's a good question,,, one I don't think we'll know the answer too until 2016 is complete. But then, Dalton is missing some guys he counted on last year so, not matter what we think we find out, there will be an * beside it.

But that's a good point that I hadn't considered.

Both Griffin and Kessler are going to go work with Tom House after minicamp is over:

I don't know how much these extra reps will help our QBs, but it is nice to see Griffin and Kessler show that they are willing to work.

Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III insists he’s not wounded by criticism stemming from past

By Nate Ulrich
Beacon Journal sports writer

Published: June 8, 2016 - 03:46 PM

BEREA: When Browns projected starting quarterback Robert Griffin III spoke during his introductory news conference in April, he vowed not to let any baggage from his turbulent days in Washington weigh him down.

Still, it didn’t take long for some observers to question whether the scars from his downfall are too deep to dismiss. Especially once some his passes were launched into the backyards of people whose houses border team headquarters.

Last month, TheUndefeated.com published a story about Griffin’s demise, outlining many issues former Washington coach Mike Shanahan and his staff had with the 2012 NFL offensive rookie of the year who was ultimately demoted to third string last season and cut in March. Among the qualms were Griffin never having learned how to execute a proper slide and his opposition to throwing the ball away when a play breaks down.

In practices open to the media since the story surfaced, Griffin has seemingly made a point to show he can indeed slide and throw the ball away. He slid last week during an organized team activity session, popped up, yelled and spun the ball. His passes also have twice hit a 16-foot fence surrounding the practice fields and twice cleared the fence on throwaways. After one sailed over the fence and struck a neighbor’s garage, Griffin pumped his fist when he realized the ball traveled off the Browns’ property.

“I’m just being coachable,” Griffin said Wednesday before the second practice of mandatory minicamp. “You have to practice the way you play – sliding, throwing the ball away. ... Coach asked me to work on those things. If he asked me to throw it away, I’m going to throw that thing as far as I can – all the way away.

“You have to practice like it’s a game, and I think those are two of the things that I didn’t practice enough. I didn’t practice throwing the ball away enough. I didn’t practice sliding enough. So that’s why I slid last week, and that’s why you see me breaking windows out there.”

It’s no secret Griffin clashing with coaches and teammates in Washington contributed to him not playing last season. So he was asked if he’s hurt when episodes from Washington resurface.

“I don’t get wounded by it because I know the truth,” he replied. “I’m blessed with a new opportunity to be here, so I can’t worry about what’s going on back there. I don’t worry about it. I don’t see what comes out. I don’t read the articles. That’s not my focus. My focus is being a Cleveland Brown, changing the culture here and giving this city something to be proud of, and I can’t do that if I’m focused on the past. So I’m moving forward, been moved forward, focusing on this team.”

Griffin’s new teammates are embracing his fresh start.

“He has all the tools to be a really good quarterback for us. I really like him,” veteran cornerback Tramon Williams said. “He’s put in the work. He’s taken the coaching. I think that was one of the things that you hear around about him. But he’s been taking the coaches’ [advice]. He’s been doing an excellent job of leading this team.”

Griffin, 26, has been chasing receivers, catching passes and even occasionally covering receivers during spring practices.

“I like to have fun,” said Griffin, who’ll continue to train with throwing guru Tom House in Los Angeles leading up to training camp. “I like to encourage guys.”

Those types of interactions have prompted center Cam Erving to conclude Griffin has “blended in and meshed with this team as good as I’ve seen anybody, myself included.”

Some may wonder whether Griffin is making a concerted effort to convince teammates his reputation from Washington isn’t fair, but he stressed that’s not the case.

“When you hear rumors, guys are going to make their own judgment on you by what they see,” he said. “The worst thing you can do is try to come in and be someone you’re not. When you ask me if I’m the same guy, you have to be because guys’ BS meters can go off really fast. If you’re BSing them, they will know.

“The best thing you can do is be who you are and maybe some of that stuff you might have heard is true. But a lot of that stuff can be extremely false, and that’s the blessing of a new opportunity with a new team -- to just go out and be myself and let guys make their own determination on who I am.”

Griffin hopes coach Hue Jackson determines he’s worthy of a permanent place atop the depth chart. Jackson isn’t expected to name a starting quarterback until he sees more competition in training camp, but Griffin has taken the vast majority of first-team snaps thus far.

“When you step out there every day, [your teammates] see how you work, they see your work ethic, they see your leadership ability, and they buy into those things,” Griffin said. “They don’t buy into who’s the starter, who’s not the starter, so I don’t focus on that. That’s coach’s decision, and there’s nothing I can do aside from go out there and ball out that’s going to change his mind. So that’s my plan: Go out there, ball out, have fun and prove to the guys that I’m the guy that they should follow.”

Sometimes a guy just has to hit bottom to see the path to the top.

Hopefully that's where RG3 is right now. Man, if he could fulfill all of the promise he showed in his rookie year, and allow us to use all of those picks we have next year on real difference makers at a variety of positions. We are about due for a great surprise success. Hopefully RG3 cn be that guy.

Man, if the Browns could just get lucky for once......

If RGIII studs out, and I know the chances are minimal, what a godsend that would be for this franchise.

He has a chance, and at this point, that's better than what we are used to.

QB Robert Griffin III:

On OL Cameron Erving’s progress at C:
“Cam is doing great. He played a little center in college. He’s a big, physical guy, athletic. He’s picking it up pretty quickly. He’s got a couple of vets along his side to help him out along the way. It’s been a great transition. I’m really happy with having him as my center.”

On ‘spreading the joy to the neighborhood’ in reference to throwing balls over the fence when under pressure:
“(Laughter) I’m just being coachable. You have to practice the way you play. Sliding, throwing the ball away, all of those things, keeping us in positive down-and-distances, those are important. It seems funny, throwing the ball over the fence, but it’s just a part of the process. You have to take everything into account.”

On if it was intentional to throw it over the fence:
“I’m just throwing it away. Coach asked me to work on those things. If he says throw it away, I’m going to throw that thing as far as I can – all the way away.”

On his confidence running, given his previous knee injuries:
“I feel great, and it’s a blessing to come off of two knee surgeries like that and be able to run around out there like a kid. It’s just a blessing. Thank God for allowing me to heal. Thankful to the trainers who helped me get back to this point and build upon that. It’s been a blessing.”

On having fun at practice and if it is a different kind of fun now:
“You can never take the fun out of the game. You have to enjoy the process. You just have to go out there and be yourself. You can’t be anybody else. You can only be yourself. I like to have fun. I like to encourage guys. God blessed me with the ability to run a little bit. At quarterback, you don’t get to do that too often so I have to get my conditioning in by chasing after guys, catching balls and just having a good time with them. I think it goes a long way with the guys. A lot of times we get a bad rep at quarterback of just sitting back there and not doing anything all day. I’m just trying to show them that I’m trying to work just as hard as they are.”

On his goals when working out at O Athletik in Houston:
“I wanted to get leaner, be more explosive. I personally play a different brand of football. I wanted to make sure I maximize that. Then coming here with (Head Coach) Hue (Jackson) and (associate head coach-offense) Pep (Hamilton), being able to play the game from the quarterback position like you have to in the NFL, I felt like if I could get to be more lean and more explosive, it would make that process easier, as well. That’s really what we focused on and to make sure when I came back to the team that I was eventually going to sign with that anything they would put me through was going to be easier than what I was doing. Coop (O Athletik’s James Cooper) and those guys, they can get after you. It was a lot of fun working with Coop and Coach (Terry) Shea, I enjoyed that process.”

On working with Shea:
“I also did a lot of great footwork stuff with Coach Shea and another quarterback coach I had. I’ll leave him unnamed. He’s probably out in the mountains somewhere with a long beard. It was great. It was a great process. At that time, I was unemployed and looking for a job. We really just tried to key in on all the things that I felt like I needed to improve upon and go from there.”

On any lessons or things learned during his NFL career that can be applied to his opportunity now:
“In a short amount of time, in about four years, I’ve been through a lot of things in the NFL that a lot of guys don’t experience in their entire time. I just try to draw upon those experiences and go out, have fun, play the game, master the process, trust the process and the results will come.”

On if he has a sense of what it would take to win the starting QB job:
“Consistency every day. Go out and prove that you’re the best guy for the job. That’s everybody’s task out there on the field from every position. Nothing is guaranteed. There’s no entitlement in any part of this game. In the NFL, it’s a blessing to play. When you get a chance to go out there, put on that helmet, put on that jersey that says ‘Cleveland Browns,’ then you have got to make the most out of every opportunity. You just go out there, be consistent, and not consistently good, not consistently average, be consistently great. Everything else will fall into place.”

On his comfort with the offense during offseason workouts:
“The more time that you put into the system, and just being around Coach Jackson and Pep and the guys, at the beginning, we’re just trying to figure it all out. Now, I think everyone feels a lot more comfortable with what we’re doing, and we just have to continue to master it. That is our job when we’re gone is to continue to master the system. When we get back got training camp, we can hit the ground rolling.”

On if he has changed and is a new person after his four years in the NFL:
“You can’t let life happenings change who you are. It can grow you as an individual. Adversity is an opportunity for your character to be tested, but you can’t let it change who you are. I’m a person who believes people are genuinely good. Maybe I’m a fool, I don't know. I just think people are genuinely good until they prove you wrong, and you have to take that approach with everything that you do. As a football player, as a man, you just get up every morning and try to live for others. I enjoy that, and that will never change.”

On how the situation at Baylor resonates with him:
“It’s a tough situation, unfortunate situation for everybody involved. It’s been heartbreaking, to be honest with you. That’s pretty much all I can say about it. Baylor is in my prayers and my family’s prayers. We wish the best for them.”

On if he has been conscious of previous perceptions new teammates may have had of him when he joined the Browns and if it is a part of why he works so hard, given a teammate’s comment that he is working hard:
“I’m not actively trying to do that. I think when you hear rumors, whatever. Guys are going to make their own judgement on you by what they see. The worst thing you can do is try to come in and be someone that you’re not. When you ask me, ‘Am I the same guy?’ You have to be. What we say is guys’ ‘B.S. meters’ go off really fast. If you’re B.S.-ing them, they will know you're B.S.-ing them. I haven't actively tried to do that, but it means something to me that teammates said that because you just try to be who you are. People will see through what’s a rumor and what are just things that happen in the NFL, compared to who you really are. I think that’s the best thing you can do is be who you are, show them that what you might have heard maybe some of it’s true, but if he went up here and said all that stuff is true, then I would be like, ‘Aw dang,’ but a lot of the stuff can be extremely false. You can come in here and prove to them who you really are, and that’s what the blessing of a new opportunity with a new team and new organization has blessed me with – a chance to just go out, be myself and let guys make their own determination about who I am.”

On if he is more relaxed after his departure from Washington and that he has a fresh opportunity with the Browns:
“It’s just a blessing. Some guys love free agency, some guys don’t. I hated free agency. I didn’t know where I was going to be. It was an uncomfortable feeling not knowing if you're going to get a chance to play football again. When the Browns came calling, and everyone else did, I had a decision to make. It was a blessing to be able to come here. You just have to be able to make the most of your opportunity. There’s a calming feeling when you know about what you’re doing and how to get it done. Having the four years of experience in the league, through all the ups and downs gives me that sense of calmness, that sense of peace to know that all I have to do is go out there and play the game that we love.”

On if sliding and throwing away are areas he felt he needed to improve prior to joining the Browns:
“Every day, I approach it the same way, back in Washington and here, at practice – you have to practice like it’s a game. I think those are two of the things I didn't practice enough. I didn't practice throwing the ball away enough. I didn't practice sliding enough. That’s why I slid last week, and that’s why you see me breaking windows out there on the field (laughter).”

On what will be asked of him as a passer in the Browns offense:
“Coach said something extremely powerful today. He said, ‘This is our offense. It’s not Hue’s offense. It’s not Robert’s offense. It’s not (OL) Joe Thomas’ offense. It’s our offense.’ You have to play within that system. I think that’s the beauty of it. Whether he asks me to play form the pocket, play from the perimeter, run the ball, hand the ball off, whatever it is, throw it 40 times, throw it 20 times, play within the system and then use your God-given ability when the play breaks down to make everything right. I think that has been the focus. Play within the system. When it’s not there, make something happen, or throw it away.”

On leaving the note in his locker when he left Washington:
“My guy said, ‘You can’t change who you are.’ If you’re a person that’s going to do good and try your hardest and give it everything that you have, you can’t have a minor setback change that. I actually got that from a guy who’s here with me (strength and conditioning/skills development) Joe Kim, who also came from Washington last year. He would give me inspirational quotes, and that one just stuck the best with me. I left it up there and someone stole it. One of my teammates stole it actually after I walked out of the locker room. It’s just a really powerful statement to say that you got to persevere, you got to be who you are and don’t let anything ever change that. Learn from your mistakes, but don’t ever let anything change who you are at the core of who you are.”

On if he feels wounded from things he hears about his time in Washington:
“No, I don’t get wounded by it because I know the truth. At the end of the day, I’m blessed with a new opportunity to be here. I can’t worry about what’s going on back there. I don’t worry about it. I don’t see what comes out. I don’t read the articles. That’s not my focus. My focus is being a Cleveland Brown, changing the culture here and giving this city something to be proud of. I can’t do that if I am focused on the past so I’m moving forward, I’ve been moved forward and focusing on this team.”

On if he will work with Tom House after minicamp:
“Yeah, I’ll work with Tom and continue to master the fundamentals, make it consistent so when we come to training camp I’m taking the same drop on the same throw every single time. Then mastering our system – the terminology, the verbiage, the kind of throws that we are going to be throwing in this offense and just make sure all that happens.”

On if it would make a difference for his confidence if he was named the starting QB after minicamp:
“I think the guys when you step out there every day, they see how you work. They see your work ethic. They see your leadership ability and they buy into those things. They don’t buy into who’s the starter, who’s not the starter. I don’t focus on that. That’s coach’s decision. There’s nothing that I can do, aside from going out there and ball out, that’s going to change his mind. That’s my plan to go out there, ball out, have fun and prove to the guys that I’m the guy that they should follow.”

He has a chance, and at this point, that's better than what we are used to.

I am not going to hold my breath that it will happen .... but I can't help but getting my hopes up a little bit.

Words in your mouth...just giving you the perception and feedback that I have gotten not just from you but others. If you did not mean what you said. But you did say things...did I use different words..probably. Its two days later and I'm not going to go back and play this game.

I remember you started it with you didn't hate or dislike me. What I did get out of it. Was I've been positive too long and you look at the broad stroke and ergo I am always wrong for any positive post. But my point is how can you glom what negatives have happened to the Browns. Just cause my posts were positive...and we did not garnish the wins needed. But was I wrong in the specifics I laid out. Do I choose to leave out the negatives. Yes, why do I have to - so I can stroke my EGO and say...see I am RIGHT. I'm right about my football. I don't coach nor play for the Browns to make a difference.

But you think cause I'm positive and the Browns didn't do well ergo all EO states is incorrect. Guys like Vers go and laugh about QB...well I know just as much about QB as he does possibly more. I don't need to stroke and state listen to me cause I SCOUTED THE POSITION...lol I feel one should actually be deemed correct on the specific facts. Not in general...
You mean if I pridicted all those BACK UP mediocre QBs to be bums I would have credibility.

But forgotten is the words - like McCown is going to surprise many as all were predicting him to be a statistical bum and not on what he can do as a vet QB...never did I say he would be all pro...just better then what many were claiming. Was I correct? Yes, but that gets glom as well EO is a homer and always wrong.

That is why I state the word SHALLOW.

done with this. It isn't that much fun posting. I like most the posters here and won't leave it. But I find myself making it less and less a priority cause of all this ego crap that goes on.

My goodness you all act as if I'm a troll cause I post positive things. smh

As someone that witnessed the supposed "rise and fall" of Griffin. I would be more surprised by his failure then his success. In fact, I'll be wagering on the Browns against the spread for a couple games before Vegas catches up.

Listened to a Dustin Fox interview on NFL radio earlier today. He stated that from what he has seen in practice that Josh McCown is by far the best Qb in camp so far. He added that he would be surprised though if RG3 weren't the starter because of the investment the Browns have in him.

For whatever that's worth.

What type of investment is he talking about? Time or money?

He didn't say. Subjectively it came across as the Browns being invested because this is the guy they picked to bring in. Investing their reputation concept.

Not worth much to me.

I wonder what that even means? Far better? Why/how?

He's better on bootlegs, downfield, accuracy, read-option?

I actually expect Drago to be better with many of the drop back passing concepts because he's more experienced.

I heard someone on CBD dismiss the notion that McKown would start and cited what he say in OTA/mini-camp as reasons why he expects Griffin to start. June 7th Cleveland Browns Daily

I am reluctant to state my true feelings on RGIII because I still wonder if you might be his dad......or related in some way. I don't want to be mean. I know it would be hurtful if someone dissed my son.

But man, you really tend to overlook some legitimate flaws and accentuate his positives.

Look.....he is going to have to do the following:

--read defenses pre-snap better

--read post-snap coverages WAY better

--display better pocket presence

--improve his footwork on 3, 5, and 7-step drops....especially the latter two.

--improve his work ethic

--get along w/coaches and players better

The latter two might be the easiest to fix and I think he is headed in the right direction, but it's not a given yet.

I am rooting for him and I support the signing of the guy. But sorry ed-----and I do think you are a good poster---but RGIII has a LOT to prove.

did I miss something? haven't read anything criticizing his work ethic thus far in our off season. and as far as I know he is getting along with both players and coaches... the rest I agree with...just wondering if I missed something for our off season?

I bet you're wondering the samething I did, why O' why didn't I take the...blue pill

Let's be adults and speak honestly. The notion that you wouldn't/don't state your true feelings is absurd.

Huh? Could you quote what you are talking about?
In order to overlook flaws and accentuate positives I would actually have to be making an assessment of skillset, which I wasn't. And YOU are assuming quite wrongly if you think I'm unaware of his flaws.

I don't know how to link posts but you can reference back to #1096027 - 03/29/16 06:50 PM.

Started talking Griffin skillset, including flaws and how to fix them.....crickets...in reply.

I will gladly talk skillset pro/cons, good/bad all day.

I have no idea where this comes from, other then the Mike Shanahan rumor mill.

You don't need to couch your comments with false sympathy its not required. And, imo brings the quality of your posts down.

Where have I ever said Griffin doesn't have a lot to prove? I said repeatedly that Griffin faces an uphill battle for many reasons, chief among them is the talent level of the roster.

No doubt Griffin has a lot to prove. The difference is that I think Griffin is more likely then not to overcome those obstacles.

When it comes to Griffin I believe.....what's that old saying?....talent will out
