I'll clarify..going after families as in investigative not bombing or killing them..I think I said legal no? If the person is a known terrorist well I'd expect them to investigate the family.
Ive never stabbed anyone in the back...and if theyve been in my home on a personal level there is nothing I wouldnt do for them.
Man it is what it is...you know I dont bag on you for your beliefs..you may be the only left leaning person I dont mind conversing with.
So I hope you dont take anything personal Ive said to you..cause I sure as heck dont with you.
A Day After Shooting, House Democrats Erupt in Protest
A day after a mass shooting in Orlando, Democratic lawmakers erupted on the House floor with loud criticism of House Speaker Paul Ryan and other Republican leaders for leaving the nation's gun laws untouched. Some protested by leaving the House chamber during a moment of silence honoring the victims.
Better start a new thread for that one, Vers might get disgusted.
Seems to be a lot of this going around on the board today...I woke up in a fantastic mood..and after reading Mr. Swish's post I feel like I lost a long time friend...what an odd day this is turning into.
Its a dog and pony show...rile up the base they are trying. After dealing with the crap in Cali and Arizona at the Trump rallies I'm done giving a care how democrats who want to be confrontational, feel about me...I'm freaking sick of having them think my voice should be silenced but theirs shouldnt.
Something ugly is brewing in this country and its way past having anything to do with freaking Trump. So to ANYONE I was a little unpleasant with..thank the pukes in Cali waving Mexican flags and spitting on my Marine Corp shirt.
I'm slow but not that slow...I do wear the Trump shirts almost everywhere I go when in town. Its been mostly positive with a lot of people whispering GO Trump or giving the thumbs up.
I agree and its why I'm not going to be shamed or brow beat into not standing up for what I believe in. I'm in a position in life I cant be fired or lose my lively hood for what I believe in. I do sympathize with those that are and dont want to risk it.
My youngest married a true to life died in the wool liberal hack..and wonders why they are having problems. He is probably more to the right then I am and I told him never stick it in the crazy...did he listen?? nope. They will be divorced by election time.

Be careful out there. It is incredibly sad that people have to be careful when they wear a t-shirt endorsing their candidate. That isn't the America that I know, but it is reality right now. Here's just a few of the violent attacks on Trump supporters in San Jose:
If you read further up you'll see I got a first hand experience with the nice folks in Cali. I keep my head on a swivel and travel in packs...a some damn Hells Angels bikers got me and the group to our car safe other then some spit and being called every name in the book.
Funny thing the pukes wouldnt screw with the bikers. The reason they helped was one named Big June was in the Corp saw my Marine Corp shirt and asked where when I served and escorted us out.
Its been one of the few times Ive been unarmed cause they check for it before you get into the rallies. So we just started going with the larger crowd and its been ok. But did it leave a pretty sour taste in my mouth.

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump said Wednesday that he would kill the families of terrorists in order to win the fight against ISIS.
The billionaire businessman was asked by the hosts of Fox News' "Fox and Friends" how to fight ISIS but also minimize civilian causalities when terrorists often use human shields.
"The other thing with the terrorists is you have to take out their families, when you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families. They care about their lives, don't kid yourself. When they say they don't care about their lives, you have to take out their families," Trump said.
Trump said he would "knock the hell out of" ISIS, and criticized the U.S. for "fighting a very politically correct war."

Thanks for posting your experience. It's good to hear first-hand accounts because they are often much different than what mainstream media reports.
I'm concerned about the Republican National Convention. I have long thought that downtown Cleveland would get downright nasty around that time and nothing I've seen in recent months has changed my mind on that. A friend of mine went to the Trump Rally here a few months back and they were appalled by how hostile the protesters were. I wrote about it a while back, but it didn't get as physical as the events in California and Arizona from what I understand.

Come one, come all, step right up for only $10 a ticket you can enter and see what we do to the families of terrorists. It's amazing, it's horrifying, and yes it's all for you to see! We show it all just for my patrons at the greatest show on earth! Innocent until pro... Ah hell, everyone's guilty, we'll shoot them all!
Oh come on the dude stepped back from his original comment and said he would work in the confines of the law...but youre right come one come all to the hype machine on an article published in December.
I guess he shouldve worried about it derailing his chances to win the debates and primaries
I was expecting it..but it was bad..if not for the guys who took us out to safety I'm not sure what wouldve happened..couldve easily been the poor guy in the video.
I don't care if it was December, he was dumb enough to say it, you can't walk that one back. He's talking about the murder of innocent people because they are related to someone. I don't want someone that freakin' stupid in the White House.
I just hope the dog catcher is running so I'll have someone with some common sense to vote for.
Portman changes stance allowing those on terror watch list to buy guns
Updated: 7:58 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016
By Jessica Wehrman Washington Bureau link Sen. Rob Portman said Tuesday that he supports barring those on the federal terrorist watch list from being able to buy weapons – an apparent change from a vote he took last December that would’ve done that very thing. “I do believe you should not be able to buy a weapon when you’re on the watch list,” Portman said in a conference call with reporters Tuesday. He said he was hopeful that the issue would come up on the floor of the Senate. Portman, R-Ohio, said he was staying consistent with a position he took in December. He was reacting to the mass shooting in Orlando last weekend that took the lives of 49 people. In December, Portman opposed an amendment introduced by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., which would allow the U.S. Attorney General to block the sale or transfer of a gun or explosive to a suspected or known terrorist. The amendment failed 45-54. Portman backed an amendment by Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, which would’ve allowed the attorney general to delay a suspected terrorist from getting a gun for up to 72 hours while federal officials tried to get a court to approve blocking the sale of firearms. Those on the terrorism watch list would be unable to buy a gun if a court determined that that person had committed or would commit an act of terrorism. That amendment also failed. Portman, speaking to reporters Tuesday, said he preferred Cornyn’s amendment because he felt it had more due process for those put on the list erroneously. He also appeared confused about whether Feinstein’s amendment applied to the more limited “no-fly list” or the larger “terrorism watch list.” “I do support having it be the broader list,” he said, saying the Senate would have to pass something with due process that would allow those wrongfully put on the list to appeal. Still, gun rights groups are adamant – they do not want the current database used to keep people from buying guns. “It’s a horrible idea,” said Jim Irvine of the Buckeye Firearms Association. He said the database is already flawed, and would allow the government to bar people from owning weapons who were put on the list under faulty premises. At a House briefing with the Federal Bureau of Investigations on the shootings, officials reportedly told House members that there are already existing protocols to bar people on the terrorist watch list to make sure law enforcement can prevent them from getting arms. The shooter in the Orlando attack had reportedly been investigated by the FBI, but has not been on any terror watch list since 2014, according to someone who attended the House briefing who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Even before Portman spoke to reporters, his political opponents were leaping on the vote as an example of Portman giving in to gun rights groups at the expense of safety. Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper called Portman’s December vote “reprehensible” and “beyond disappointing.” And former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, a Democrat who is opposing Portman, wrote a blog post lambasting the vote. “I believe there can be no reasonable disagreement about making it more difficult for terrorists or those suspected of terrorist activity from obtaining weapons,” he wrote.
Meh vote for whoever you want makes not a lick of difference to me. Personally dont care how terrorists or their family gets dealt with 1 if their guilty of hiding stuff 2 Its within the confines of the law.
My only concern is, what exactly puts you on the terror list?
Too much openness for gov't. to abuse that. And, once you get on their list, good luck getting off it.
FBI investigations? Does that - would that put you on the list? If so, why is hillary allowed to run for president?
Yep had my best friend put on it from a clerical error in spelling..wasnt him just a very similar name. It took over 2yrs to get off of it and there was nothing he could do about it. He is not the only one either.
It would get abused and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
One other thing whilke I'm thinking about it..people always say you have nothing to hide or do anything wrong then you should be ok with whatever law they want to enact..until they are the one who has the injustice done to them.
After what I witnessed first hand what my friend went through..there is no due process and it has the opportunity to be abused terribly.
The problem is how they compile the list. How many people have wrongly wound up on the no fly list, or the security check list? My wife has been on the security check list for a long time, which is the list that tells TSA to use extra caution when feeling up a person. She's never done anything to appear on that list, other than be born in Ireland and filing an EEOC complaint against her civil servant boss for harassment. Does that mean she'll wind up on their 'no gun' list? What would one have to do to get off the list? How do you get info on why you were put on the list?
The feds have had 7 year olds on the no fly list. Does anyone really expect them to do any better with this list? I suspect it will eventually have 300 million people on it.
You have to love a candidate who changes his mind every three months. I guess that means he either speaks without thinking or doesn't know what he's talking about in the first place.
How refreshing is that? lol
Wonder how soon until he changes his mind about the wall?

She may, she may not - all depends on who puts money in her pockets.
She'd sell the country if she got elected, as long as the money went in her pocket.

Or gets more facts about how to handle the situation.
Id be right surprised if he changes his mind about the wall considering its been a staple point of his entire campaign.
I dont think he will get or do everything he claims....but half of it and he would be the greatest President of my lifetime.
I will also admit he could be the very worst behind Obama. I'll take the chance since its my only viable option to pick from who has a chance to win the election.
Pit if I'm wrong..which doesnt happen with me very often in business or politics..I'll put whatever saying you want in my signature for a year. If he is elected of course.

I'm not trying to tell you how to vote either. Everyone has to follow their own path through this life, enough so they can be happy with themselves at the end. For me that precludes voting for someone that deals in guilt by association and termination as the penalty.

I got ya and agree with ya Tulsa..I'm in a better mood so maybe my responses will reflect that...Not trying to be snotty with you man...I struggle with context or tone on a message board..I do much better face to face.
Well, I have to go by the fact he changed his abortion stand three times in 24 hours as a sign that I have no idea what I'd actually be voting for with Trump.
But don't worry, I can't vote for Clinton either. As of now I'm leaning very heavily toward the Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.
People may say it's an empty vote. I just feel until people take some kind of action to tell the two parties we're not happy with them, nothing will ever change.

Pit, You and I have had some brief discussion on who we support and brother I wouldnt give you one ounce of grief for whom you support.
Look I'm not so blinded by party loyalty that I cant understand why people go other directions...hell before I got fully on board with Trump I thought for the first time in my adult life I wasnt going to vote.
I certainly don't blame you for your choice. While I don't agree with it, having these choices is the foundation of our nation.
I just believe some of his supporters tend to gloss over a lot of things. He continuously changes his mind on many things and says some very crazy sounding things sometimes. One thing I find extremely scary on a global scale is breaking away from NATO and the disbanding of European unity.
That could destabilize the entire globe, have a devastating impact on the U.S. and world economy. I just find some of the things he says extremely scary.
