Totally false statement.

It's not the guns they don't like. It's the righties that will allow people on the no fly list and every over mental lunatic in the U.S.A. to have unfettered access to any gun including certain military style assault weapons that they don't like.

Which is why the left is rarely endorsed by the NRA and the right is? That is a trend, not a false statement. There are exceptions to the rule, which I said in my above post.

So, you want a certain gun banned due to it's appearance. It doesn't fire faster than any other semi-auto. It doesn't fire bigger rounds than other semi-autos of the same caliber without the dangerous looking parts. It doesn't do more damage than other semi-autos of the same caliber. Therefore, your reasons for banning it must be due to the scary appearance.

Please inform me of any law that would have stopped the most recent massacres. People with a will to indiscriminately others for their purposes will find a way to do it, whether it is a legally bought gun, and illegally bought gun, or a gun machined in their own shop. If a gun is unavailable, they will find another way. Would a pressure cooker waiting list have prevented the Boston bombing? Evil people will do evil things. There is no way to prevent this, but there is a way to attempt to protect yourself.

Hold on

Hold on

Hold on

So the lefts support/against guns is totally dependent on whether or not we like the NRA and vise versa?

Stop it. That's simply a ridiculous statement

Umm, yes, that's exactly what you're saying. How else am I suppose to take that?

You literally just sat there and said the left doesn't like guns, and then backed that statement up by saying it's because we don't get endorsed by the NRA.

Nobody put words in your mouth dude. That's what you just said.

It's a ridiculous statement.

That's like saying I must not like veterans just because I'm not endorsed by some veteran group. Absolutely ridiculous.

No, that's not at all what I said. That's what you warped it to mean in your head.

Let me try to clarify, just for you. Those people who are on the right, who believe in the 2nd, who believe in less government, who believe in self responsibility, tend to be on the right. Therefore, the NRA, who is also on the right and align with their beliefs, tend to endorse them.

Those on the left, who tend to not like guns, who tend to believe that the government should be responsible for them, who believe the government should be bigger, does not get endorsed by the NRA, because their beliefs to not align.

Does that make it all better for you?

It doesn't.

I'm willing to bet the majority of the left still support the 2nd amendment.

I also believe most lefties believe in self responsibility.

Less government is absolutely debatable, seeing as the only time the right likes "less government" is when it comes to businesses.

But since we're making stupid statements now, I guess all the racist are on the right.
