I think fans sometimes confuse the value of an NBA draft pick and assume it has the same value as a draft pick does in the NFL. After the lottery, your later 1st rounders equate to the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th round equivalents of the NFL draft.

You *might* get something with a late 1st rounder, but it's rare.

Really like this kid. Once again, his ceiling is a solid backup PG. He could become like Isaiah Thomas. Us winning the championship makes picks like this okay tongue

Yeah exactly. Divide each round into three, and that "sort" of equates into NFL round values. First 10 picks of Round 1 and like Round 1 in the NFL. Picks 11-20 are like Round 2. Picks 21-30 are Round 3. Everything else is like the back end of the draft.

I was traveling and I only had my phone for internet access. I did get to see both games, though.

I wanted to share my thoughts, but it's really after the fact. I will say I am so happy for the long-suffering fans of Cleveland sports.

So what are your guys doing to get your championship memerobilia? Are we just waiting for the SI championship package for $50, do they even still do that.

I'm mainly looking for a well produced, DVD/ blu Ray chronicling the NBA finals. I know it's still soon, but I'm chomping at the bit for a good narrative of the finals and our playoff run.

I'm sure YouTube will hold me over until we get a studio quality production recap, and they will redo the 30 for 30, but I really hope someone comes up with something good. I'd pay good money for it.

Im going to buy a shirt. Not the generic trophy shirt, I want something different and not player related. Everytime I buy a player shirt, they leave. *coughcribsjerseycough* I would like something more cleveland related.

Speaking of Kyrie, the kid really stepped up in the finals. I always felt he could be like Isaiah Thomas (Detroit) someday. Keeps it up and he's the #2 all time Cav.

After hitting that shot, he's probably already getting a statue somewhere in Cleveland.

and the best finisher around the basket I've seen in a long time. both hands. either direction. either leg. despite his balance. despite the defender. it's incredible.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

kyrie and klove maybe, but i really doubt lebron plays past 35.. his kids will be older then and he'll want to be around for that

Jordan played until he was 36, I think.... after his second three-peat. As long as LeBron is in reach of realistically having a shot at tying (or topping) Jordan's 6 rings, I think he'll stick around as long as he needs to. That'd be the ultimate capper to his career.

Lost in the wave of the great plays in that game, the 3 pointer, the block, Kevin Love's defense on Steph was that 3 point play on the Draymond Green foul. He really is the best finisher in the game and there isn't a close second.

Would love to see him develop a better defensive game, and he could get into MVP talks somewhere down the line. Will always be hard to get those votes playing with LBJ, but he has the potential. This year as a whole, aside from the championship even, was so huge for him. Played all the way through coming off that injury. Started 53 games and all 21 playoff games.

He's gotta stay healthy and get better defensively before there is any talk of MVP type recognition.

So glad he's on our team though. And if you have doubts about Lebron sticking around, just remember he's got THAT guy on his team.

He needs to work on his court vision too. If he can learn how to pick out teammates when the defense is collapsing in on him, he would be even more deadly. He still struggles in the P&R game, because he doesn't use the roll-man as well as he could, and because he can't always find the open teammate when everyone else comes in to pack the lane.

Lebron isn't nearly as good in the ISO game as Kyrie, but he's unstoppable when he can find teammates outside of the ISO. Kyrie just needs to pick up that wrinkle to his game.

And yeah, the Defense too!

Yeah, I agree with that, I just think the defense is correctable. To ask Irving to be a better passer might be ok, but court vision is something that you can't really coach. Lebron has always had it. He just sees the game differently than most of those guys. To me though, defense is something that you can always get better at.

For lebron to be playing 7 years from now it is because he is within striking distance of all championship rings.

He looks great! To be only five foot ten and still be able to dunk is impressive, at least to me.

Also, kinda breaking news: Kyrie will be playing for the Olympic team. Not sure how I feel about that, but if he's a starter and wins gold, can't ask for much better than that.

I think it's ok because he's a young guy. His body will be ready for next year. I would only be concerned about injuries.

No thank you. I was stressed out for like three days after watching that game. No game has ever affected me like that that before. Games 5 & 6 were more fun.

How could you two actually not watch the game? Most important game of the last 52 years and you hide your eyes?

Shame! Shame! Shame!

What do you mean? I watched the game. It was so intense and stressful, it took me a couple days to get over it. It wasnt until after the rally I started to relax and feel euphoric about it.

It would have been different if we blew them out.
