Not Clevelands fault, I'm not even embarrassed as a Browns fan by his emotionally retarded antics.

I get your point Lamp,, worse is the simple thought that he actually had some skills. Had he applied himself, worked hard, stayed out of trouble, he may have been something good.

Again, damn fool!

I'm sure his parents were trying to do what they thought was the right thing, whatever that thing was... at some point it becomes about Johnny just making better decisions..

It appears "everyone" from the Browns are still trying to help and reach out to JF. After all his done, all the negativity he's brought - it shows you something with this staff here. Caring individuals concerned with players as 'humans'.

I can appreciate, and respect, that.

Oh brother ...... crazy

Johnny Manziel trolls his dad from a ridiculous-looking mansion in Cabo - CBSSports.com
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/johnny...ansion-in-cabo/

Last week, Johnny Manziel's father Paul said that his son is "a druggie," and that it's no secret at this point that he has a problem. Paul also said that jail is probably the best place for Johnny to be right now.

Johnny himself, obviously, does not agree. Apparently he thinks the best place to be is a luxe mansion in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Manziel went on an Instagram spree on Tuesday in which he showed off his arm, trolled his father, and let everyone know that it is still very much "LIT."

Middle of the afternoon, Manziel throws a football into a basketball hoop:

A bit later in the afternoon, Manziel takes a picture on the edge of the pool, overlooking the entire city from his high vantage point:

Johnny is wearing a Josh Gordon jersey, for some reason, and talking about a comeback in his Instagram caption. Not sure whether he's referring to Gordon's comeback or his own. Of course, the post would not be complete without the "#hiDad" hash tag. Because the appropriate response to your father admitting to the world you have a drug problem and should be in jail is always a trolling hash tag.

Still later in the day, Manziel made sure everyone knew how LIT it still is down in Cabo. You can check out the video here but here's your warning that the music in the background contains NSFW language.

The home Manziel is partying at, according to For the Win, costs $3,900 a night to rent in early July, and includes four bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and that pool.

He'll be broke in no time.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

That's the thing. He HAD lots of money before being drafted (family fortune and money through stuff at college I'm sure).

I'm personally tired of hearing about him ... but I will say I've never seen somebody travel/party as much as he does

Who cares if he quits. I think he's dug himself in a hole that no team will be interested in him, and the prevailing circus that'll follow - regardless what he does.

Keep in mind, the kid is a master of telling words, but not backing them up with action. The best thing is for him to get back on track, for his own life and future - which I doubt will involve football.

I have to wonder if the Browns had protective language protecting the team against certain behaviors in his contract. It is entirely possible that they did, and if so, 1 could be a clause that voids the contract in the event of a conviction for a violent crime. Remember, Manziel is still facing charges for domestic abuse.

I so hope it's true. That's alot of drug money not going into the kid's wallet. And we shouldn't pay him, for reasons that I hope are obvious.

Well, I'd love to see Manziel do whatever it takes to come back.

It would be an incredible instance of human will-power to prevail. A fantastic inspiration for his generation.

Alas, the odds are minuscule.

So this worthless piece of crap is all of a sudden going to stop drinking on the first? LOL! Browns have a better shot at winning the Superbowl this year.

He is the real world "Billy" Madison. Spoiled and good for nothing. Only this Billy never makes it past kindergarten.

I have my doubts that he can get and stay sober too, but I did it some 20 plus years ago. Point is it can be done, but it would take a real spiritual awakening for him to do so.

I'm glad he's not our problem anymore, but it is a somewhat interesting ongoing story. He needs to wise up, before it's too late.

Here's how much money Johnny Manziel's suspension could save the Browns - CBSSports.com
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/heres-...ave-the-browns/

Everything is coming up Cleveland these days: the Cavaliers won the NBA title, the Indians are crushing a 12-game winning streak and Johnny Manziel got suspended four games by the NFL.

Yes, one of these is not like the other, but the third one -- Manziel being suspended -- is good news for the Browns, who will save a good bit of money as a result of the suspension.

As noted by Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the Browns are on the hook for Manziel's guaranteed 2016 salary of $1.169 million and also $1.004 million fully guaranteed for 2017. (Manziel received a four-year, fully-guaranteed deal from the Browns as a first-round pick in 2014.)

However, the contract "contemplates the voiding of the guarantees for a variety of reasons," including a suspension by the NFL.

So it's entirely possible the Browns could avoid having to pay Manziel his salary for the next two years.

It could be tricky, however, given the Browns cut Manziel (and thus guaranteeing his salary) before he was actually suspended. Therefore, when the suspension was handed down, Manziel was not a member of the Browns.

Lawyers are in charge of fighting these things out, and lawyers cost lots of money.

The Browns have plenty of cash to scrape over $2 million, but it's possible that Manziel, having outlaid lots of money on plane trips to Cabo, luxury mansions, high-rise pools with which to taunt his father and, of course, the ever-so-pricey Josh Gordon jersey, well, he might not be sitting on a ton of money.

Particularly if all the guaranteed cash he thought he would be getting is suddenly dried up.

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

Arena Football League interested in Johnny Manziel

Johnny Manziel's playing career is in doubt right now -- but if he doesn't play in the NFL this season, the Arena Football League says it has a home for him.

"We could provide a strong platform for him to demonstrate that he is back," AFL commissioner Scott Butera told TMZ Sports. "We would also work with him and provide him whatever help he needed to live a healthy life."

The NFL suspended Manziel earlier this week for the first four games of the 2016 season because of a violation of the league's substance abuse policy. Sources tell ESPN that Manziel, who remains unsigned after being released by the Browns in March, still faces potential discipline from the league for violations of its personal conduct policy if he does sign with a team. His domestic assault case in Dallas is still pending.

TMZ Sports reached out to Manziel for comment but had not received a response.

Amazes me how certain people get passes. There are guys out there with just as much talent and a TON of more effort/will to be great, and they will never get a shot.

Manziel gives no cares, and still there is someone who would give him an opportunity.
